Instead of attempting to work with me or see if there was any flexibility, I was offered an appointment three hours later -- which obviously doesn't work for most people with busy schedules. There seems to be little effort to accommodate clients who are trying to make appointments work within real-life constraints. A bit of grace or customer-centered problem-solving would go a long way. What's frustrating is that the Moore location does not operate this way and has never made things this difficult. The difference in service between locations is noticeable. Unfortunately, based on multiple experiences, I won't be returning to the Norman location.

But, if you book your appointment in the middle of the day and have somewhere to go afterwards, then take her up on her offer. You're eyebrows will be on fleek! :) However, the pricing is pretty hefty for waxing. It's probably the most expensive brow place in Norman. Also, one thing that somewhat throws me off is that they wax you in the middle of the store while seated. It's kind of awkward when the store is busy and there's a lot of people browsing the Benefit counters. Some (mostly little kids shopping with their moms) will even stare and watch as you are getting waxed. Additionally, Ulta gets pretty hectic some days especially if they have an event so I recommend going on a weekday and booking an appointment in the morning if you want to try this place out. I like this place, but you can get your money's worth somewhere else. My current aesthetician charges a third of what the Benefit Brow Bar charges. Plus, you get to lay down and relax; the atmosphere is zen and calm (which you cannot find inside Ulta).

My very sweet boyfriend booked me the Oklahoma Red Earth spa package for my birthday. When I…read morearrived I was greeted by the girl at the front desk who brought be back to the steam room. She nice/friendly but I do wish she would have told me little more clearly what was happening. It felt very rushed; she told me the order of services, but wish she'd told me where the shower room was, which massage room, that I'd need to wait a little bit before my massage, and who I was having my service with. She was the only person taking care of the front desk so this was probably a management issue. The steam room was fantastic, it is very nicely tiled, it didn't seem cheaply made as a previous poster said. It warmed up to 113degrees and was gradual which I loved! And the aroma therapy made it so relaxing. It was a very comfortable size for one person. It's silent in there, other than the sound of the steam. I used the rain drop shower (twice), they did have shampoo and conditioner available to use. There's no hair "product" and no combs available for use (so bring your own)! I did call asking if I'd need to bring shampoo/conditioner and was told it was available, but I wish they'd told me there was nothing else, and to bring my own comb. I've been to spas in the past where you can use their comb, they're sanitized in between. My massage was great, I had a 90 minute hot stone massage followed by a body scrub. Both were very relaxing. My masseuse did a very good job and was accommodating; I asked for more/less pressure and also asked for the heating pad to be turned off because I was hot (not because it was hot, because I just run hot). She was very nice. I was so relaxed when I was finished! I can see how people would say the spa is dirty, the walls need some paint and the baseboards could be scrubbed. The floors are concrete so they can look dirty, but I don't think they are dirty. I used 3 towels, they were oldish towels and one of them smelled mildew-y, like it'd been left in the washer too long before being thrown in the dryer. The rugs in the shower room and treatment room could be replaced. Things I'd recommend: -Washcloths in the shower room -Locks on the shower room doors (this really bothered me) -New towels -Combs -Some kind of music piped into the steam room, something "zen" as it is way quiet in there, I took my phone in there and played some zen music. -A selection of sizes for spa shoes (they gave me a small size and I'm a size 10) I wore my own birkenstocks around the spa. -Lockers for your stuff, or cubbies or something. You have to carry everything around with you and give you a basket. Overall I enjoyed my time here. The staff was nice, services were as described on the website and if I lived in the area I'd probably return. My services were all on time. Upon checking out the girl did ask if I wanted to rebook, but once I said I didn't live there she didn't push it. I do think they are priced like a higher end spa. When I go to a spa I expect they accommodate the things I'd need and if I came back I'd bring my own towels, shower sandals, etc and because of that I'd expect the prices to be a little lower. I'd agree it's missing the "comfortable" feel that I've experienced in spas in the past.

I went to Lollie's Beauty Bar to have hand-tied extensions installed for the first time. During my…read moreconsultation, my stylist and I discussed that this would be a learning experience for both of us to install curly extensions. I was very clear that if I was going to invest in extensions, I wanted them to be thick and was willing to pay more for more bundles if needed. I was reassured that what I was ordering was enough. I told her that I definitely would want as many installed as possible. Upon arriving to my appointment, I saw that the extensions did not match the curl pattern of my hair, and I had not been made aware of this prior to my appointment (despite the hair arriving prior to my appointment date). Due to my lack of experience, I mistakenly thought that maybe if they were wet and styled different they would blend. After installing roughly half of the extensions, I left the salon and was immediately in tears, seeing that I was wearing what looked to be clip-in Claire's mullet extensions. My hair and the extensions had not been blended whatsoever and there was a huge gap between my hair and the extensions. I decided to speak up and request that we add in as many more as possible and was accommodated with kindness. After styling my hair, cutting and blending it, and adding the extra wefts-- they looked as I had hoped. I decided to pay my stylist for her extra efforts, despite being surprised to have left the first time in that condition. A week and a half later and the entire bottom two wefts of extensions came completely unsewn from my head. The tangling took a chunk of extension and a chunk of my hair to get them unstuck. After expressing honest disappointment and frustration to have to visit a third time, I was given an irritated response and essentially told that this was something I should have expected and I felt that I was being told this was my fault. I requested a refund for the installation because I no longer felt comfortable returning again and I feared that the remaining wefts were also installed improperly and have to now pay yet another stylist to uninstall and then reinstall the hair. After going back and forth with the stylist, the owner gave me a call. She essentially told me that even though she'd never had a client have extensions fall out, the stylist did nothing wrong and she didn't understand why I wouldn't come back in and that we'd have to pick up the conversation another time because her husband was wanting to know when she was coming home and she'd been working all day. I was left with 0 solution other than returning for them to sew in the bottom weft. I was told that there was a no refund policy, and when I asked if there was anywhere that I could have read or been made aware of that policy prior to my services, she stated that it didn't exist anywhere because she'd never needed to tell someone that. While I really liked my stylist, I feel that she was much less prepared than I had been made aware of or understood and I do not feel I received the services I paid for. I felt that after I communicated how unhappy I was, things went downhill quickly. Now I am stuck with thin-looking extensions that I will now have to pay someone else to take out and install properly, after paying $2,600+ for this experience. I do NOT recommend at all. Update: 07/13/22 Update: I now have what I've been told are "tension sores" in different areas on my scalp where the hair was pulled too tightly or unevenly around my head that could cause traction alopecia. They are infected and I am potentially going to have to have the extensions removed as well as a medicated ointment for the skin.

I tried out Victoria's services this time, and she is absolutely amazing! As soon as we met, she sat down across from me and surveyed my hair and face and listened to what I had to say. It felt very much like a thoughtful consultation that I rarely experience at a salon. It was as if Victoria was as serious about my hair as I was. I was so thankful, especially since my hair was in such bad shape. I wanted to go a lot shorter, and she did a really wonderful job. I think I have mentioned before, that, when getting my hair cut, it can be a bit of a traumatic experience for me- fake nails poking into my eyes or dryers expelling heat the temperature of some coal-driven inferno to crisp my scalp - but no trauma here. Victoria will very much spend good time on you, and she is really passionate about hair, and she uses cooler drying temperatures. And Victoria has a FB page for hair if you want to see some of her edgier styles. Go be a stalker and find it yourself.

The tech made it extremely easy and convenient to book around my schedule. After booking I started doing research, not gonna lie, kinda scared myself with what I saw on YouTube. Word to the wise: learn the laser that's going to be uses on you before doing this. Oasis uses the Alma Soprano - one of the gentlest lasers around. I felt absolutely no pain. The tech was amazing! Still a little nervous when we started, she talked me through it and explained everything that was happening. It really put my nerves to rest. I highly recommend this place!

I ask where I can put my sweater and she says the chair at the station next to us. I have to drape it just right because there are big clumps of hair in the chair.... The cables/wiring hanging front the ceiling were COVERED in dust as was the decor sitting out. I think Kelsey does an amazing hair cut but I'm not sure I like going to such a dirty salon.
