We stumbled into this place accidentally when looking for Jeff's Burgers, which was next door…read more They offer both menus in both locations so we reviews the menus and decided to try a pizza and salad to share. We quickly learned that portions are huge, and very little English is spoken at these smaller places. No worries though...after stumbling through ordering a beer (easy to order) and a Chardonnay (a little different) we ordered a large salad and a pizza to share. Service was excellent once we overcame the language barrier, and the large house salad (Gruner salat), and a combo pizza (stagioni) for 10.50 and 23.50 Francs were excellent! The staff are very pleasant and accommodating...we found one waitress who spoke English. This is definitely a popular place for families and locals and can be very busy. It's cute; quite small, but highly recommended off the beaten path restaurant!

Don't visit this place. They take advantage of visitors. The Pizzas we had were just ok…read more. Magherita, Parma, Rusticala. Nothing special. First off, there were four of us, two adults two kids and they insisted we must order 4 pizzas. Ofcourse the pizzas are huge and as a result there was a lot of wasted food. Maybe this is a Swiss thing that anyone occupying a seat must spend a minimum amount, but if so, what a sucky way to run a business. Next when it came time to pay, the guys says "you must pay cash". Now I wish he had told us that earlier, not sure what we would have done had we not had cash. This was the first place in all of Switzerland in our 2 week trip here that demanded cash. But there was a reason for this as we'd find out soon. The bill was a little over CHF 100. I handed him CFH 110. He prompted gesticulated "ok? Ok? Finish".. clearly indicating that we wanted to keep the change as a tip which he did! Overall shady service designed to cheat foreigners.
