This used to be our go to pit stop in Luzern for two reasons: 1.) as affordable as it gets in the land of Francs; 2.) They used to make this incredibly delicious pasta cheesy dish with crispy onions that rocked my world (unfortunately, this is no longer on the menu).
A few key points worth noting:
*Fresh orange juice $5-6
*Plentiful outdoor seating
*Bustling atmosphere
*Long bar of selections ranging from homemade chocolates to stunning rhubarb tarts
*fairly casual, order at the counters and you can easily peruse what's available with their visual menus and display cases (they cater to tourists fairly heavily with English menus readily available)
If you're coming from the train station, it's about a fifteen minute walk to this location. read more
