For dine-in orders, the staff brings your food and drinks to your table by looking for the tag number given to you at the register when you order and pay. The drinks are served in ceramic cups, while meals come in ceramic bowls with stainless steel utensils. It's a nice touch and a more eco-friendly alternative to disposable tableware.

I also had a slice of Chocolate Pecan Pie, which was delightful. Both orders were to go. The manager (I forgot his name) was great and knowledgeable. He was the one who served me and told me that I could sit outside and enjoy my order at any of the small tables; but that there would be no waitstaff since I took my order to go. So I sat outside and enjoyed my order, people and vehicle watching. The downside is that this place is CASH ONLY, and it took about 20 minutes for my order to come out.

Not really seeing too many other places put stuff out like this quite yet, so I'm glad they're filling this role in the community. They also carry pastries from other local bakers and small businesses. I wanted to grab a butter mochi square, but unfortunately they were out of the mochi squares and cookies that day. They were also out of the black sesame cream, which was a bummer because my top choice was the black sesame latte. I chose to get the ube matcha latte instead. I'm not sure if I just caught them on an off day, but the whole experience was a little chaotic. First, as I was standing for the barista to take my order, she tried to give me someone else's drink. It took her a while to make my drink because she had to whisk up the matcha (honestly amazing effort as I was not expecting ceremonial-level prep). As I was walking away drinking my matcha latte, I realized that my drink was made with oat milk and not almond milk as I had requested. (I don't have an allergy but my body sometimes has trouble processing the oat and all the sugar.) The drink was still tasty, the ube syrup was very sweet and different from what you could get at other coffee shops. The matcha flavor was a little lost as a result, but it was still delicious. I hope I could swing by and give the place another try.

We were greeted at the entrance and directed to a table at the very end of the outdoor seating area. Unbeknownst to us, what started as a peaceful table for two soon turned into a dinner party--with some very uninvited guests. Once the clock struck six, a swarm of mosquitoes decided to join us at our table. I spent pretty much the entire duration of my visit swatting them away. By the time we left, I had acquired six mosquito bites. As for the food, my latte was good, the hummus was average, and the calamari was our least favorite. I thought I was going to enjoy a nice dinner outdoors. Instead, I ended the night as dinner. The staff was lovely, but unfortunately, the mosquito situation made it very difficult to enjoy the experience.
