Public Parking At CIRCA LA

Park here at your own risk!!…read more I parked here in self park and ate at Javier's. When I came out my car was blocked in as somebody parked behind me. When I tried to talk to valet, and later the front desk for parking, they had no solution. Their best answer was to wait an hour and a half for a tow truck. When I explained my wife was pregnant and we really needed a better solution (e.g. a gurney that many downtown parking lots use for this situation) they told me they didn't have that option. I tried to talk to the manager who hid from my calls for 30 minutes and when I finally did get in touch he said it was my fault since "I parked too far forward to allow somebody to park behind me." At that point it seemed insulting and almost comedic. I am posting the chat where the manager blamed me for parking too far forward as proof.

Paid through the number on the ticket you can text to pay after entering my card information and submitting payment. I was met with an error message assuming the payment didn't go through when I head to the exit and an employee came up to me looked at the price on the screen, which was $70 and then said $40 Zelle, cash app or Apple Pay. Paid the $40 instead of the 70 and thought wow what a great deal I checked my bank account and the $70 did go through I then contacted the office told him about what happened manager told me to wait until the payment of the $70 went through and said if it does will give you your $40 back. Sent him a screenshot of the transaction when it finally processed said he will get back to me and never did. Update: was resolved.

I called the staff and they were able to open it up immediately and were friendly. It's a 24 hour parking lot and recommended. I tried to dispute a charge on my debit that turned into a ticket for a vehicle that is in no way connected to me for license plate AN28PL. I didn't want to be held responsible for a car that I did not have any connection to and never even drove, much less into this parking lot owned by Metropolis. They don't seem to have understood the fact that, whether this was a rental car or not, this was NOT MY CAR, therefore, NOT MY TICKET. They said it was because I couldn't produce a rental agreement with the matching license plate to prove that it wasn't my car. How can I do that if I have no clue whose car that is, how it got connected to my phone number, and where the car now exists??? I don't even know if it was actually a rental car. They couldn't provide any proof that the car was connected to me besides my phone number somehow getting connected to it without my permission. Dumb. I ended up having to dispute it with my bank, instead, since they were so obstinate and also seemingly did not understand what I was talking about.

Automate Parking Inc. is located at S. Flower and Pico near the Los Angeles Convention Center,…read moreStaples Center, and LA Live area in Downtown Los Angeles. It's close by within a few blocks walking distance and is an open air uncovered parking lot. This is one of those nook n' cranny lots where getting cars in and out is like playing Tetris while in a can of Sardines. The parking attendant will guide you into a space like an air traffic controller. It's one of the cheaper lots, but prices do vary depending upon the day and the event, basically dictated by the marketplace's supply and demand. I went during a weekday daytime when there was a convention, industry trade show, not open to the public over at the Convention Center and parking in the main lot this is adjacent to was $10, where this one was $7. I know parking can sometimes be had for as cheap as $5 per day and as much as $20+ per day/night. The area is somewhat safe, but a bit sketchy during the day and at night it's your dice to roll. FYI - Fair Warning... Many outdoor parking lots are often magnets to scammers who pose as parking attendants and take your money to park, but don't work for the parking companies.. Be sure you feel confident, get a receipt and if the person looks a bit scuffy, homeless or sketchy question your decision to give your money and park. Also, never give your car keys, it's self parking not valet. It's an outdoor lot subject to the weather be it rain or heat, so know that going into the deal. It's an affordable alternative to parking closer or at the complexes, and with that it sometimes is also easier to get in and out of since it's a few blocks away from the clustered congestion of the venues.

They charge $10/day (that goes for both weekends and weekdays) or $165/month and do the bare minimum for upkeep. The attendant just answers the phone "hello" so you don't even know who you're calling. A rinky-dink organization. The lot itself is full of cracks and potholes in the asphalt, and there's always MS-13 or other gang graffiti on the walls they don't paint over for days or even weeks. The cement blocks for each spot go every which way, some are vertical (yes!), some are horizontal, some are flush with the wall, others are a foot or more away from the wall... The lot is always littered with garbage either on the ground or on lampposts (drunks love to leave empty beer bottles there) or on the sidewalk entering this lot. They used to charge $135/month then raised it by $30 in one fell swoop! And it's not secure--there is no locked gate and the attendant is there from 8am to 6pm (often he doesn't show up until 9) and doesn't always turn on the lights at night. See enclosed photos. Monthly customers aren't assigned a spot so on weekends when there's an event in MacArthur Park the lot fills to capacity and you'll be screwed even though you paid. Oh and whenever production wants to reserve their lot they kick you out but WON' reimburse monthly customers for the days they lose! That's literal robbery. Whoever owns this company ought to be ashamed of themselves. They're running a scam and are no better than unscrupulous payday lenders.

They offer services like car wash, car maintenance, shoe shine, etc if you need it just let them know upon entering. Daily parking is $36, early bird is $16. I'm lucky work pays for my parking!!!
