We got several lovely "fromage" knives, a metal toothpick and cheese knife set, and a few other goodies.

Wonderful selection of cookware and bakeware in Paris…read more It's not a far walk from the metro station through some quaint Paris neighborhoods. The store is not huge but has a lot of selection crammed into a modest space. They have products from all over the world and all sorts of items for cooking and baking including pans of all kinds, small appliances, fondant, silicone molds, colorings, and so much more. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and seemed happy to help. It was super hot in the store, though. Check their hours as they close for an hour mid-day on Saturday. We found a few silicone mats (Silpats) for baking macarons, but be warned that the sizes are not exactly the same as those sold in the U.S., so they might not perfectly fit your baking sheets. They had the versions for bread as well (Silpans). Prices seemed quite good compared to prices paid in the U.S. probably since these particular items are made in France. This was definitely a fun place to grab a few baking items!

There were so many molds and tools and everything! I only ended up getting some great pastry bags, a rose mold and a few other small things. If I had more time I would have purchased a knife or two, there are some nice ones. The store is in a perfect location. It's within walking distance from a mall and Notre-dame isn't too far. If or when I'm ever back in Paris I plan on buying a lot more. If you're in to baking or cooking don't skip this place!

I don't really have room for any more pots and pans, but it's always fun to browse. They have utensils from butter spreaders to zesters, and tea and coffee sets and cups give you an option of making a beverage at home. Lights, tables, throws, curtains, and coordinated linens to enhance your decor. They even have practical things like cleaning supplies and tools. The most practical part of this store was their attached cafe, with Swedish snacks and sweets to sustain you as you shop:) Prices are reasonable, neither the lowest and nor the highest for brand names and types of products; you may find lower prices in the big department stores during sales, but this place will have less crowds and better service.

I spent 90 Euros and then went to eat in the little cafe attached. When my friend and I were finished eating we walked through the shop again. I took a couple of photos of some nice displays. As we were leaving the store, a sales person approached us with a suspicious look and started asking questions as to what we were doing there. I am not sure if she thought I had been stealing or she saw me take the two photos (of displays) and was angry. Nevertheless. I explained to her that I myself was a shop owner, was excited to see many of the same designers and admired the merchandising. I told her I actually personally knew some of the designers (which is true) and I thought that might be of interest to her. She was still suspicious. I told her I had just spent the 90 Euros at her shop. She never smiled or apologized. Furthermore, the woman that rang up my sale was unfriendly. When I asked if she could wrap the delicate ceramics, she made no real effort and seemed annoyed. It is really a shame because it is a beautiful store and very well curated. They need some customer service lessons! I am afraid I will not return.
