Great class, chef christian was very patient with the kids and made sure everyone learned

Ah we had the best time! We booked a private cooking class. You can have up to 8 people but we only had 4. The total price is the same though. They have some lockers up front for your belongings and a coat rack. Our guests were late. The ladies let us in to a waiting area where they had snacks and coffee/tea. We hung out on the couches. The chef was so kind as to wait to start the class for us and she even stayed late so we had our full class time. Wow. We made croissants and other pastries. The recipes were given to us via QR code at the end of the class. We were able to ask questions throughout. Chef was making jokes and making sure everyone was pulling their weight. In the end, she created a gorgeous table scape of our items and even organized them as to who made what. We worked in teams and I think the lady team items looked better than the guy team items. Haha. Everything tasted good though! Chef opened a bottle of champagne for us at the end and we drank and ate. We took everything home in large paper bags to savor again. The class was so fun and very safe. It was worth every penny. In fact just being on their email list is worth it. They have wonderful emails with recipes! read more

The experience started with shopping at the local market, which was such a fun and authentic way to learn about French ingredients and culture. Fabrice is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about food. He encouraged us to step outside our comfort zones and try new things, which made the experience even more memorable. A couple of things to know before you go: there is quite a bit of standing throughout the class, and there is a TON of food. Seriously--skip breakfast that morning because you'll be enjoying a generous meal by the end! The only downside was that our class was combined with another family whose dynamic was quite different from ours, but that didn't take away from the quality of the experience itself. Overall, this was a wonderful way to spend a day in Paris. We learned so much, enjoyed incredible food, and created great memories. I would absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and authentic Parisian experience. read more

Amazing classes offered. I've always wanted to learn how to make croissants and from France, the birth of croissants so this was perfect. And even better, they had an express class at the same time as the kids chocolate making class! chef Sarah with the croissants and chef Fabrice with the kids chocolate class were both amazing! The kids had so much fun, it was a small class of four kids and they made so many different chocolate candies to take home! I can attest they tasted amazing! The croissant class was great, we made mini croissants and mini pan de chocolat. We took turns doing everything and I learned some tips and tricks since the ones I tried making myself at home before this class were major fails. The room smelled so good when baking and the taste of the croissants were amazing! So flaky and buttery. Highly recommend. read more

I highly recommend booking a class for your vacation. We took Pastries with our kids (age 10). Chef Sarah was the best teacher we could have asked for. She is incredibly patient. She explained everything and had our kiddos leading the way through the baking and decorating process. She is also super funny which added more to our day. Everything we made is delicious. I had an amazing time cooking with Chef Christian! He is incredibly personable, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience both fun and relaxed. We made croissants, and they turned out absolutely amazing flaky, buttery, and better than I expected. The small group size was perfect and allowed for plenty of hands-on time and personal attention. C'était super!! What a great experience. We took a group of university students for a croissant class today. 18 people total split across the two kitchens. Both chefs were accessible, friendly, and passionate about their craft. Reception was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the experience and learned so much. This place is phenomenal and I couldn't recommend it more highly. From start to finish, they were incredibly flexible (we needed a specific time frame, needed to do something out of the box for the needs of the group, had very specific allergies to work around). This was probably my favorite thing we did in Paris! The class was fun, the food delicious, and the shopping and cooking educational. We were choosing between two different cooking class companies and I'm so happy we went with this one because it was such a great experience. Highlights included getting to pick our menu, shopping for the ingredients, enjoying some wine and charcuterie while the food cooked, and of course enjoying our meal. Getting to pick what we cooked was really exciting, our chef didn't have a set menu but rather made suggestions based on what was in season, and we as a group got to decide from there. Chef Mathieu was easily able to accommodate dietary restrictions while still allowing for the group to try what they wanted. We prepped all the food as a group, sometimes taking on different roles and others as an all hands on board. I never thought I'd be able to prep a scallop from the shell or cook duck, but we did both wonderfully and now I want to do it again! Such a great experience! read more

Did the sauce class with Fabrice--he was outgoing, gruff and charming in equal measure, comprehensively knowledgable, willing to humor both stupid and complicated questions. He ran us through both the technical and philosophical steps for saucing a dish--not just what to do, but why. This French Cooking class with Fabrice was everything my wife and I could've dreamed of and then some. Walking in we were expecting to get a short tour of some market vendors, learn about them and have a pre-set meal that we would cook but Chef Frabice blew our expectations out of the water. When we met at the meet-up location he explained to us how the process would work, and that my wife and I would be the only two people in the class. The process worked in such a way that we were in complete control of the menu. Chef Fabrice asked what we were in the mood for in terms of starters / main dish and dessert and proceeded to help guide us to a meal of our dreams. We mentioned we wanted to do a first course of Fish, followed by something with Duck breast and potatoes and finally some sort of fruit / chocolate tart. What happened next was truly amazing. He provided some suggestions on how to finish each of these dishes: - White Beurre Blanc sauce and julienned vegetables (legumes) with the Fish we chose - Pomme Anna (beautiful potato dish), Rosted Figs, and a Groseilles sauce (Red Currant) to pair with the duck breast - Pear and Chocolate for the tart; and a strawberry coulis sauce; a combination he said he had never tried before That was just the beginning before we got to work! He helped guide us with every step of the cooking process by either demonstrating and then allowing us to finish or just instructing us on what we should be doing. Because of his expertise I think anyone with minimal cooking experience (but loves to cook) can handle and love the experience. After all the cooking and eating; we finished with a final cheese course where we learned about all the different French cheese varietals and where in France they came from. Lastly, Chef Frabrice and the team was so accomodating: I myself have a shellfish allergy and my wife being pregnant at the time could not have certain things. Nonetheless he went out of his way to secure extra ingredients so that we could both partake in every part of the meal. It was truly an unforgettable and magical night and my wife and I will remember all these dishes. We can't wait to remake them at home. read more

Took a sauce cooking class with Fabrice. Absolutely the highlight of my week in Paris. Informative, creative, hands on and just plain enjoyable! Fabrice is an excellent chef & instructs from the passion of his heart. We created 2 base stocks & from there 6 delicious sauces. We also made Béarnaise & hollandaise sauce, a vinaigrette & a roux. When all was made we sat down to a delicious meal of Roasted Chicken, poached cod (topped with all our creations) a salad & roasted potatoes. Paired with a couple very nice wines. Voila!
