I stopped by Country Bake Shoppe and picked up Whoopie pies, cupcakes, and a pecan bar. Pumpkin nut bread was NOT on my original list. Then I tasted the Whoopie pie. Y'ALL. It was so good that I had to go back and get something else! That's when the pumpkin nut bread came home with me too. When something is good enough to make another bakery owner turn around and go back for more, that says something! There was something so comforting about this little country bakery.
