The image shows a wooden table with various painting supplies, including a white tray decorated with painted fish in different colors and patterns. There are multiple bottles of paint, paint palettes with mixed colors, brushes, a sponge, and a smartphone. Additional plates and notes are also visible, indicating an art or pottery painting activity.

I've been here multiple times, and overall have had very good experiences! It's a little different than other places I've been to. It seems like there is less independence for the visitors (workers bringing you brushes, colors, etc.) which is something I don't love. But all you have to do is ask and they are usually very helpful. They have side rooms for larger groups that you can book ahead of time, but if they are not reserved and you come with a large group, they will place you in there. A great way to spend time for those who love crafting!

A woman with glasses and long hair is sitting at a pottery studio table, holding a ceramic piece she is painting. The table has painting supplies, including brushes, palettes, and sponges. Shelves in the background display various finished and unfinished pottery items, such as bowls, cups, and decorative pieces. The setting appears to be a ceramics painting studio.

One of our favorite winter time activities! After moving to Wisconsin we realized we wanted more fun things to do which didn't involve being outside. We love to come here and paint some pieces to add to our growing collection of fun dishes at home. The staff are very helpful in introducing you to how to paint the glaze. They are dry to help when you have questions or want to try a technique like wiping off a color so there is a peeking through effect. I have brought friends here before and it's a great way to catch up and be creative as well. Yes we did have football on while we painted too.

Shelves in a pottery studio hold a variety of painted ceramic items, including animal figurines, vases, and decorative objects. The items are arranged on multiple levels, with some featuring bright colors and patterns. Price tags and labels are visible, indicating the cost of select pieces. The background shows a plain wall, emphasizing the display of the pottery and figurines.

A plate painting party was perfect for 7 seven years olds for a birthday celebration. The room was reserved for 3 hours and that was plenty of time to paint, open presents and devour cake. Lots of smiles so definitely equates to a five star rating.

Doll you can buy for 28$ and 5$ utensils fee. - The image shows a ceramic figurine of Little Red Riding Hood, dressed in a red dress with white polka dots, holding a basket of flowers. The figurine has a large red mushroom-shaped hat on its head and is positioned on a green base. The background suggests an indoor pottery studio with shelves of ceramic items and work tables.

I love this place. The Staff is amazing, very helpful and super nice! Nothing but the best. They give amazing tips without being mean about it if you get what I mean. The prices are more than fair and I have never had to wait to be seated, seems to always have a spot immediately! Love this place my artwork might not be great but my girlfriend can make some great stuff.

A person is engaged in painting a realistic human face on a mask, holding the mask close to their face while using fine brushes and acrylic paints. The workspace includes a palette with various colors, paintbrushes, and a paint-stained cloth. The person is wearing a colorful apron with a fox illustration and jewelry, indicating an art or craft activity.

We had a great time here! We spent about an hour and a half for a date and it was the best time! The staff was super knowledgeable and very fun to work with, we will definitely be returning customers.

I painted the frog on the right, my mom did the one on the left!

I really enjoy coming here. The stock changes often enough, so whenever I come in there is something new to see. The price is reasonable. If you expect to pay what it costs to buy a mass produced plate from Target then you might be dissapointed, but for a fun afternoon and getting to use any of the high quality glazes it's a good price! The staff will help as much as you need, which oddly is not how it is at other places like this. Even if you feel you have no artistic bone in your body the staff WILL try their best and help you make something amazing. I have made several pieces here since I was 7 and I have never been dissapointed.

Really fun place to do pottery painting. They have a huge assortment of pieces you can paint/glaze (animals, plates, pots, frames) that range from $5-40 depending on the size. There is a $5 paint fee per piece for unlimited usage of paints and brushes. The girl working there gave really good tips on how to dry brush and make my rooster look more rustic with fluffy, 3 dimensional feathers. See my picture :) They also have candy, soda, and bottles of water for sale in the store! Tropical skittles are so YUM! 4 stars only cuz the store could be cuter.

Great place for all ages- especially on rainy days. Loved that we had the option to use acrylic or glaze paints, and only had a $5 ($3 child) sitting fee- so if I didn't finish today I could've come back for another day, for only $5 more. Can't wait to come back next week for our kiln fired finished pieces.

    What are the prices?

Price is the piece plus $3 for a child or $3 for an adult. Most options are $12-$25 but there is a range outside of that as well.

When she initially arrived at…read morethis studio, she was eager to take classes and learn the art of pottery but was quickly told that classes weren't necessary for her, so she carried on, asking questions along the way to those around her willing to help. Just recently, a woman by the name of Sue approached her out of the blue and told her that she needed to pick up all of her things and leave and take classes if she wanted to come back. She was then left scavaging for all of her pieces and tools in front of all of the other artists in the studio at the time, leaving my friend mortified. She was later informed that she asked too many questions and so prompted Sue to kick her out. Because that clearly makes sense. In no situation is that kind of embarrassment ever acceptable and if this is the kind of practice that you guys are running, I want zero part of it. I hope you take a moment to reprioritize the humans who give you the money to keep your business running because if you carry on in this manner, that energy will come right back at you. Have a nice day :)

The colors turned out quite a bit different than I'd hoped, but now I'm motivated to return to try again so I can better perfect my vision! We decided on Christmas tree ornaments. Morgan got all our working tools and was very thorough in explaining how to cut the glass and told us if we needed any further help she would be happy to help. We then were able to create at our own will and speed. It was a Friday night at the end of the day and we were told to take our time and not feel rushed. You can order drinks to enjoy. The atmosphere was so comfortable and warm. You could paint or do pottery. So many things. I think we just started our new tradition to make a new ornament yearly. We had booked some open creating time. But you can register for any of the classes they offer as well. We will definitely be back. Everyone was helpful and kind. Can't say enough good things about the whole process from start to finish. Took about 7 days to have the project fired and ready for us to pick up. Our ornaments are beautiful on our tree.

We made an appointment ahead of time and as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a lovely woman who spent good time explaining to us just how to safely work with glass, and not get cut or hurt in any way. The instructions are very in depth but necessary. When is was time to start the creative process, my granddaughter knew just what she wanted to create and loved selecting all the parts to make it just as she wanted. Start to finish was about 190 minutes, but it could be faster or slower, depending on how your creative juices flow. In the end she was thrilled with her project and we sprayed it to keep it in position for the transfer to the kilns. In 7-10 days I will return and pick up the final project. Our final cost for a 6" square art piece came to $40. We can't wait! The cost is not super cheap, but you know exactly what you are paying before you start. The supplies are endless and we plan to return for other activities as soon as possible. We saw entire families enjoying themselves, and this is a great activity to do with all ages, young children to adults. The options for art projects are: Paint Your Own Pottery, Glass Fusing, Acrylic Paint Projects and Board Art. The Clay Hand Building is now offered only in a class session. Stop in and take look. Then make an appointment for some really nice fun.

It should be noted that this review takes place at the location on 7th street and they have since moved but I feel confident in saying the overall atmosphere and experience will remain the same. I regret I do not have any pictures of the new location on 6th Street but it also is very nice. They went out of their way to make the party area special (which they decorate nicely for an small extra fee) and were helpful in instructing the kids (and adults). They stood by ready to help without being obtrusive or overbearing and were relaxed and fun to talk to. There are different prices of party packages but all include different options of pottery to paint. This party package includes the painting. If you wish to have food you can bring pizza and they have a neat deal with Kaiser's pizza (I'll also review) who will deliver and give you a discount if you're having a party at Alpaca. This is a very cool option if you're looking for something interesting and fun that is outside of standard birthday party venue. You will be able to pick up the pottery prices in one week and they come nicely wrapped. Everyone had a great time, we'll be going back again. Thank
