Perfect location and restaurant for a memorable meal for 12 of us. The restaurant is situated in the heart of Roma Norte and is small and intimate. The menu options would please anyone, even the pickiest of eaters... for which we are not! Prices are exceptionally reasonable for the quality and presentation of food.
The service was attentive and excellent. The timing of the appetizers and entrees were perfect, allowing us time to sip our wine, share some stories, and get ready to be wowed for the next presentation of dishes.
Appetizers:
Fried Parsley with cream cheese medallion and toast points. Amazing. So very tasty, light, and a perfect compliment to our wine. 2 orders... it's that good.
Mexican sauce bone marrow casserole: scrumptious. Rich and tasty, you must not pass up on this dish, unless you don't like fat... then don't get it.
Squash blossom stuffed with goat cheese and chipotle sauce. Absolutely delicious.
Figs stuffed with goat cheese and prosciutto. We ordered this twice... just because.
Shaved sea snail... you cannot miss this. Served and prepared by the waiter, this dish is incredible. Not to be missed. This was the best appetizer at the table, I'm certain.
Salad: Arugula, parmesan cheese, almond and pear salad with a mustard vinaigrette. Fresh and delicious.
Main Courses:
Four Cheese ravioli with mango and chile de arbol sauce. So good! The flavors perfectly compliment the delicious pillow filled pasta. Get this!
Chicken Roll stuffed with cream cheese over apricot and piquin sauce.
Seared tuna with black sesame and caramelized in soy and raspberry sauce.
Braised short rib: tender and tasty.
Garita steak with herb butter and potato gratin.
Duck tacos with green sauce. Absolutely wonderful.
This meal was exceptional. Not only was the company incredible and the memories forever etched within our minds, the food was absolutely unimaginable.
I am forever grateful for our family to recommend, treat, and share this amazing gem of a restaurant in Roma Norte. You must allow yourself the experience, you will not regret it. read more
