The place is big and nicely located within walking distance from the Diana Tower. Word to the wise though, don't sit outside unless you don't mind having a few panhandlers interrupt your evening Service was good only slow (and considering we went on a Sunday night, the time it took for the kitchen to send our meal out was way too much). We had the queso fundido and while tasty, we've had better queso fundido while in Mexico. We also ordered the shrimp and cheese tacos, arrachera tacos and a carnitas one. Again, the food here wasn't bad, it's just that you can have cheaper tacos somewhere else. The music was salsa so not quite sure what was up with that but hey.l

Go here for a low profile genuine mexican experience comfort mexican food, great cocktails and a friendly staff and ambiance

My wife and I visited this place on raining night, we were welcomed and received the best service. Angel is the name of the guy who served us some drinks and he was the only one could speak English The food was beyond our expectations and the drinks were simply amazing. Music is wonderful Service is great Food is made in heaven Very much recommended If you are in town, make sure you drop by and say hi to Angel for us.

Nice place to stop for a quick lunch. We tried two different tortas and they were both great!

Boisterous large, friendly cantina. Good service and prices. Nice selection of top shelf bottles. Large and varied cocktail menu.

I was captivated by the warm, eclectic ambiance--shelves stacked with old books, cozy little crannies, and fascinating antique items tucked into every corner. It felt like stepping into a hidden gem where every detail added to the charm. I ordered the As de Corazones, a gin-based cocktail with raspberry, egg white foam, and a spritz finish. It was hands-down the best cocktail I had in CDMX--beautifully balanced, slightly tart, and perfectly smooth. I also tried the Josita, which was incredibly refreshing (and deceptively strong!), making it the perfect drink to sip on while soaking in the atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive, with bartenders who clearly know their craft. Whether you're a cocktail lover or just looking for a great spot to unwind, Pata Negra is a must-visit. (I even went back as a goodbye to CDMX on my last night)

They had a few TVs with some sports on which is why we chose this place. Service was friendly, and quick to take your initial order but after that it was kinda hard to order a second or third drink you really had to flag them down. We came back on a second visit and they were out of some of the beers we ordered the previous visit. On the plus side the beers were ice cold. Much colder than out of the refrigerator which made it so easy to drink.
