Nice location across from a beautiful park. Food didn't have a lot of flavor... the torta was dry and i even had to add salt to the guacamole. Enjoyed sitting outside but wouldn't eat here again.

Love this restaurant and it's location. The guacamole is huge and comes with pieces of cheese-very good. Has a very interesting cocktail menu- two of my favorites are the pink Carrillo and the cotton candy margarita! You can sit up or down stairs and they offer protected outdoor seating (for the rain)

Randomly picked this place for dinner at 10pm. This place is a vibe!! Great music, great decor and layout and great food and drinks! The service was on point too! Overall a great experience. Definitely a must come to at night time!! Who ever is controlling the music got the place jamming!

If you're looking to splurge a smidge, than this is a perfect place to do just that! The second floor seating overlooking the park was a perfect setting for lovely dinner, drinks and conversation after a long day of work. We started out with a few cocktails, but when in Mexico, I can't seem to get enough Micheladas! There's nothing more refreshing and satisfying than this Mexican staple. What I find strange is anywhere in the U.S a Michelada comes with tomato juice, here in MX it's never the go-to way. Yes you can get it like that, but in my experience thus far, it's not the go-to. Anywho, The tortilla soup was spectacular, and the complimentary basket of fried root veggies and sauces to compliment were out of this world! I was especially pleased with my ceviche flight too. Overall, each one of my dining companions were over the moon with every aspect of their meals. And just when I thought things couldn't get any better, they bring me un Café De Olla (sigh) ...

Had a wonderful dinner here with my wife and in-laws. The drinks are pricey at 160 a pop but the atmosphere is gorgeous. The marlin tostada is crunchy and meaty fish is well balanced, salty, acid, heat and some sweetness from the onions. The sopasitos with the bone marrow was decadent and perfect. Their quesadillas were a table favorite. It's a great spot for a group and the service is quite attentive although I can see how it would be affected if it was packed. We had a great time and the whole dinner was inexpensive compared to what we'd throw down in Los Angeles. I ordered the mushrooms which were in a tomato stew. It was wonderful. I'm a pescatarian and this place is great for vegetarians as well. This is a great safe spot!

My first and only meal of the day for Christmas Day 2019 was here at this quaint restaurant located just off Cabrera Park. My debit card wasn't working for hotels or ATMs in Mexico City, so I thought to pay in advance for my single Christmas meal, which they attempted to do after much discussion. Thankfully I had a few pesos about me, and I had a perfect cerviche with slivers of avocado, with some colorful wafer thin chips, and a glass of water spiked with the fresh lime juice of some tiny local citrus.

Good food, slow service towards the end. However The drinks are amazing, i got the fruta cocktail and it was so tasty.

Beautiful place and decent drinks. Excellent ceviche.

Searching for soup. Came across Cabrera 7 with a few selections of soups. My husband got the cochinita pibil ! Absolutely loved it! The meat, the fresh bread, the pickled purple onions. He loved it ! I highly recommend. I was feeling a little under weather so I ordered the Caldo de pollo, was perfect. The assortment of chips and bread was absolutely delicious including the fresh salsas. Our service great too ! Gracias !

    Fillete entortillada

This is a great place for an experience definitely. The atmosphere is is amazing, and I love their attention to detail with decor. Our appetizers I think were the best part, we split the chicken tortilla soup (which they kindly put into two bowls for us) and gave both of us our own fixings(tortilla strips, cheese cubes, and avocado), which was a nice touch! The soup was delicious! They also provide you with bowl of different types of chips and multiple different salads which we enjoyed. For our meal, we both ordered fillete entortillada, which was a filet with a whole bunch of cheese slathered on top with salsa verde sitting atop a tortilla with beans on it. This was just ok...we didn't love the cut of meat for the price, however they did cook it well. This is the only reason for one star being knocked off...everything else was wonderful!

This business is closed. They owe me an Uber for driving to this place and finding out it's closed because they can't update it.

I say seated with parenthesis because most people end up standing here but we got lucky that a couple was leaving as we were right next to them after being asked our drink orders. It's kind of a weird system that they have and I think the staff didn't realize we didn't have our drink orders taken yet and asked the people behind us for theirs which was slightly annoying. It was a bit chaotic so I can see why it happened, but I do think they need a slightly better system. Anyways, the drinks were excellent and I love that they gave us a little small snack that included crickets (which I hadn't tried before yet). The vibes in here are really nice too. I love the dim lighting and the almost rock/clay atmosphere. The bathroom area is smaller than I was expecting but it was ok. I'd definitely return!

There are no seats, this is a standing bar except a few uncomfortable bar stools. Drinks were good, but I expected more. I got the colada and it was good, not too sweet. Almost clarified colada. Everything was very spirit forward which few of our friends really liked. This felt like a one time visit for me in CDMX

Our waiter did seem a little surprised we didn't so maybe we ought to have . Honestly the openness is welcome on this cool autumn day although the sounds of cars and people was sometimes a touch distracting. Music was fun but not particularly heavy, maybe more of a casual date than something velvety. Service was quite attentive and prompt although I did arrive quite early and there weren't very many people there. Not all the waitstaff are very fluent in English but they are happy to bring someone who is if you have questions. They are the sister bar/restaurant to La Clandestina which is literally right next door which also focusses on Mezcal. Honestly, I don't really know what the difference is between the two aside from the people who are literally mixing the drinks and serving you as the house mezcals are also under the La Clandestina name. Ordered their Habanero house cocktail which was a mix of their Espadin Joven Mezcal, orange liqueur, and a raspberry/bluebery/habanero syrup garnished with a dehydrated orange slice and rimmed with salt, chili, and maybe some more habanero. Note, the menu doesn't actually mention the syrup, I dragged that out of them since I was wondering why the cocktail was so pink and also tasted like it definitely had more than mezcal and orange liqueur in it. The end cocktail is a light and fruity affair but not particularly sweet or acidic and actually balanced out with the body and smoke of the mezcal. I normally despise salt rims, finding it overpowering on first sip and nonexistent on the next but theirs toned down the salt levels enough that each sip around the rim was actually quite pleasant. The habanero in the syrup maybe offers a smidge of vegetal notes and a little bit of spice if you're particularly sensitive to it but the rim itself was actually a delight, giving a light tingle to the lips with each sip. I wouldn't say the cocktail was particularly spicy but more tingly which I found myself actually preferring over other chili included cocktails I've had in the past. They do offer a variety of bottles of tequila and mezcal to sell and take home with you, notably the ones under the Clandestina name that are made just for the bar. Not all of these tequilas and mezcals are available to try directly but the bartenders will offer you a shot of the closest one that is available on the menu (mind you, trying a shot is just paying for an ounce/35 ml of the stuff but that's all on the menu). I decided to give that a shot before biting the bullet on a whole bottle of mezcal. The shot of mezcal comes in a glass wider than a traditional shot glass so you can actually sip the thing comfortably and they also give you a few orange slices with tajin to chase/nibble on. Apparently they offer a flight of mezcal which I'd honestly recommend, especially if you're here with some friends. Definitely recommend coming by for well executed cocktails but particularly for the chance to try Mezcal of varying regional origin, age, and abv.
