Was just gelatinous This was almost some of the best Jamaican I've ever had but I felt it was a tad bit too sugary. Really good though didn't survive the trip home good. Good assortment of salsas. The tomatillo and picante one was really good. They have pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, limes, marinated cebollas y habanero. Just buyer beware the pico might have been sitting in the sun and I'm pretty sure I got an upset stomach from this. Nothing wrong about Ochoa but for me it's your average taco spot. Jamaica, asada and tortillas stand out here.

On this trip, I got my usual go to at taco trucks which is a couple of tacos and a mulita! Just as delicious as I remembered. I came through on the later side, so there wasn't that long of a line. The place was really chill on the people were really friendly. This place is located in Sylmar, which is where the 5 and the 405 converge. So if I haven't gotten food yet, it's a great stop on the way up to see my folks in the Bay Area. So glad I did. I think I should start making a tradition whenever I drive up.

The tacos were pretty cheap for their size and also the handmade tortillas! The ladies that took our order and made our food were all very formerly and they were working hard because while we sat there many people came to grab food. I really wanted to like this place and share the great experience with the world but all I took away was a supersized disappointment with a side of wasted money. We ordered two orders of Chilaquiles with the red and green sauce, one with carne asada and the other with two eggs over medium. We were the only ones in line and that was a bit concerning but it was Friday at 10:30 am. The orders came out quickly and we retreated to our car for some intimate car dining. It felt like Xmas as we opened up our heavy container filled to the brim with anticipation! I started on the green zone and felt the kick of the spice and concluded that this spice was a bit over the top. Typically spicy isn't an issue as long as the flavor holds up and keeps me digging in.
