My guest got the carne asada tacos 6/11/19
Peach N.

June 11, 2019 I give this truck a 25 star rating if I could, but I can't so 5 stars is the max! In all my years of coming to the food truck event this is my first time not having one single complaint!!!!!! The prices were stellar and the food was extraordinary, I was very happy with my choice. I decided on the carne asada guesadilla it was fresh made and well seasoned. I can't believe I ate all of it I never do that I have to eat a few bites and then share. My mini me said Carol was a very nice lady and her son was working with her tonight. The three of us went to get our food from the LA Taco b& co truck....that never ever happened before. I am so hoping this truck will be here all the time because, it will be my first choice always. I still do not believe how wonderful my food was my whole family seemed to enjoy their's too.

Tacos: $2.50 each
Paul V.

The rotation of food trucks that stop by in front of my office during the week are generally quite poor, so you can imagine my anticipation when new truck on the block LA Tacos & Co pulled up on a weekday afternoon. Unfortunately, while they get it right with their carne asada to be sure, overall these were tacos that were just A-OK. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? I really wanted to just love LA Tacos & Co. You had really genuinely friendly people working the truck and even though their Yelp page is pretty new they have a great presence with a whole swath of photos. After taking my order I had my tacos ready to rock and roll in under five minutes. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? The tacos at LA Tacos & Co are $2.50 each, which is a bit pricey compared to the street tacos you can find elsewhere, but it's worth pointing out that these tacos were pretty well stacked with meats relatively speaking, which made the price point worth it. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? So it's here where things didn't really impress given how competitive the LA taco scene is. For starters, the tortillas at LA Tacos & Co were a bit weak. They were a bit firm as opposed to fluffy and fresh, and they really didn't add to the tacos like top notch five star tortillas do. From there, the meats were a mixed bag. While the carne asada was genuinely excellent, with a peppery flavor that really stood out, the pastor and chicken were just okay, with the chicken falling behind a bit. The red and green salsas aided in bringing everything together, but these wouldn't crack my top 10 or possibly top 20 tacos in the area. Single Star. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? LA Tacos & Co is new and they'll refine their craft, but for the time being I'm not yet singing their praises given how many great options there are in town. No Star.

California Burrito
Mike C.

Enjoyed their California Burrito! Stuffed with Carne Asada, fries, beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and sour cream. Just enough to fill me up and the balance of ingredients seemed just right.

First of all, I have been wanting to try out this truck for while and today, I did. My reaction? It was better that I expected, Every time I explore new options, most the time it is a disappointment. This time around, "IT HIT THE SPOT RIGHT ON!" I was nervous, because I invited a group of co-workers and just hoped this trip was not going to be a waste or a flavorless lunch. You know what, it wasn't...everyone enjoyed the flavorful array of spices and ingredients of their meals. The CARNE ASADA FRIES seems to be one of the most popular dishes on the menu but I cared more for the CALIFORNIA CLASSIC BURRITO, which is the same as a plate of asada fries, just with a flour tortilla. My order was placed, I sat aside and grasped my burrito with both my hands and took a massive bite into that beast...BOOM! Delicious! You get to taste the delicious marinated angus beef with a nice hint of pepper and garlic, with the crunch of the french fries, cream, cilantro, onions, sour cream and texture of the rice and beans...sooo good! To my surprise that lettuce addition gives the burrito interior a freshness and crisp to every bite. You know what, that flavorful journey does not stop there...when you pour some of the fresh green or red salsa, that just adds many more layers of deliciousness to every bite. The red salsa is definitely mild packed with enough flavor and heat to enjoy your meal. I could even taste the similarity of a King Taco salsa profile in there. As for the green salsa, the kick of some habanero heat in there gives it a nice touch. "A bite! A pour! A bite! A pour!"...that is the way I enjoyed every bite of my burrito. I do recommend it! L.A. Taco & Co. is new to the scene, about 4 months, but more exposure and a bigger following will definitely send them to a higher notice here in Flavor Town Tacolandia, Southern California.

This is one of the few food trucks I've enjoyed at our apartment! The quesadilla was amazing, and even great for lunch the next day.

Wow! What a difference some time away makes! It makes me sad that I haven't had much time to come…read moreover to this side of town and enjoy some of this yummy food, but WOW, this restaurant has made some amazing upgrades! It is beautiful inside! I'm sure there are some before-and-after photos on here, because the transformation is incredible. Now, the restaurant finally matches the food and that's saying something because the food has always been great! I absolutely love it here! Whenever I'm able to make it to this side of town, I always come for their pozole. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you can truly tell they make their food with love. If you get a chance, stop by and check out their menu! And their handmade tortillas? If nothing else, those alone are worth the visit!

I have had yelp since 2015, and I have never written a bad review until now because I usually give…read morethe benefit of the doubt especially because it's a sunday morning. However today I have NEVER had such terrible service in all my years. I put down my name and waited to be called. No issue there. My gf and I were sat, and we immediately ordered because we knew what we wanted which was pozole. The tray of tostadas and veggies came out within the first 5 minutes. So we thought "Oh it should be coming out soon" boy was I wrong. The first red flag should have been the people that were sat after us getting their food first. The second red flag was tables before us barely getting their food 15-20 minutes after we sat down. Was the food brought all together? Nope. It was brought one by one. I watched each persons face filled with disappointment when they see food coming out and its not theirs. I was one of them. It wasn't until about 30-35 minutes where I said enough was enough. There was a younger waitress I flagged down and told her I just wanted to pay for my agua de pina and wanted to leave. She apologized and asked what we ordered and we told her pozole. She said the agua would be free and pozole would come right out. So I agreed to stay. AND THAT'S WHERE I FUCKED UP (excuse my language). Because at this point I'm already seeing red and I'm LIVID. The pozole finally comes out and surprise surprise..... it's cold. Not only did we wait for about 40-45 minutes at this point but the food is cold. I decided to say fuck it, the food is here I'm just going to eat. So we did. When we finish and decide to pay our same waitress that seated us, took one look at the table and said ok Two pozoles and an agua de pina. My gf looks at her and says the agua was on the house. The other waitress gifted it to us because we have been waiting for more than 30 minutes, and our waitress is an older woman named Miriam. Started to correct and try to argue with my gf about how she didn't know which waitress gifted us the agua. At this point I just start laughing. I have never been so disappointed and disrespected in any restaurant. If you skip the rest and just read the ending, please read this part. Go somewhere else and support a different local business. This place is completely unprofessional and will disrespect you and your time.

I went there about 10:30am on a Friday and there was already a flow of regular customers coming through to order take out. I've learned they have returning customers who stop by every week, that should say something about how good their food is! My mom and I ordered the pork belly tacos, a carne asada taco, and fries. Everything was SO good that my mom recently talked about going back for more pork belly tacos and fries. That is saying a lot because she can be picky! The owner and the staff that assisted us were super sweet to my mom and I. Based on their customer service alone, I would go back to support. If you're ever in the Anaheim area, be sure to add Taco Land to your visit, especially if you are a Disney fanatic. The ambiance and interior decoration captures the magic that makes you feel like you're at the parks! :)

I ordered three and my husband and I shared the chips and guac, and we were stuffed! The meat had good flavor and was good quality. My favorites were the chicken and the al pastor. The chorizo was okay, I think it was cooked a little too much. The salsa bar was really good. I enjoyed all the salsas but my favorites were the chicali salsa and the green one. Guac and chips were also really good, but it will run you about $10. You order at the counter first and then sit down, but they'll bring your food to you, and they will periodically check on you to see if you need anything. They offered to throw our trash out as well. The inside is disneyed out. There are tons of memorabilia and photos for most characters. Bathrooms were clean and there were a mix of booths and chairs.
