It was A LOT of food for one person so I definitely recommend sharing with others. I'd rate the food 8.3/10 and there was multiple types of fish/seafood with varying texture and flavour/taste - Anchovies: 8.8/10: Fresh and nicely fried - Chanqetes: 7.5/10: Little white/silver fish, interesting texture as the fish were so small (strings of protein) - Calamares: 8.3/10: Decently fried - Rosada en adobo: 9/10: Nice chunks of fish (Cod?) that were nicely battered and fried. - Acedias: 8.5/10: More delicate fish, good combo with the rest, i.e. cod - Pescadilla: 9.3: Good flavour, nicely battered and fried, felt like a great value - Squid tentacles: 8.3/10: A bit dry but interesting to try

People come in the hope of sighting this celebrity, crowding the restaurant at all hours and overwhelming its staff. Nor did the server have the time to describe them to us. Service was a 2, at best, while the food was a 3. Service is slightly slow because of the amount of people that they serve at any given time. So yes understandably, you will probably have to flag your waiter/waitress if you want anything after your initial order is taken because it can seem a little chaotic. The place is total old school Andalusia. How about the food? The food is just as authentic as the look of this place, which is always packed. I had the typical tomato salad with fish which is always delicious because the basic ingredients are always so fresh. Tomatoes stand out here because they are soo good. I enjoyed patatas bravas, salpicon, gildas, jamon, olives and croquetas de toro. What better to wash it all down with than a cup of Jerez amontillado and a glass of tinto de verano. Those that have left mediocre reveiws probably don't know what to expect or have no idea what to order, which, will probably end in an unfavorable experience. If you want a genuine experience of Malaga, then this place should be on your list of places to eat.

Just a heads-up for anyone ordering the langostinos: don't expect large prawns!
