    Lovely whole in the wall near the Cathedral. Prices are great as you an choose; tapas, half or full portions. We chose the tapas size of the Fideos negros Toastados con Calamaritos ( enough for two) next Chistora salteada con patatas paja, small sausages with fries, Tiras Iberica con pimiento Padron and eggs with gulas ( baby Eels)all equally delicious and different. Price for all this deliciousness €19.30. If in Malaga don't miss it.

    Food: everything we had was delicious and very flavorful. We had squid with black toasted noodles, foie gras terrine, duck with mango sauce, and grill shrimp mini kabab (wrapped like an egg roll) Atmosphere: fun, easy going and always busy. The Spaniards definitely eat later around 9:30-11:30pm. We've acclimated and ate later than normal USA times. Ppl actually talk and not on the phone which was refreshing to see. We Americans need to adopt that way of eating and communicating. Price: decently priced for the food. Had a bottle of red wine. Everything was decently priced.

    The food here looked really good so I had to give it a try when I visited Malaga. We shared half portions of the spicy potatoes, squid ink fideua, lamb on couscous, oxtail meatballs, and duck magret. The potatoes were a really nice start to the meal. The small potatoes were soft and tender, and that chipotle-like mayo was creamy and delicious, though not spicy at all. The fideua looks really interesting, and I enjoyed the pasta when eating it with the creamy garlic mayo. However, the short noodles have an odd texture between crunchy and soft that I didn't like too much, and there was hardly any actual squid on top. The lamb was delicious. The 2 pieces of tender, slow-cooked lamb meat was fall-apart tender with just a slight gamey flavor. Similarly, the 2 oxtail meatballs were also fall-apart tender. I love oxtail and it's the best to get it in meatball or burger form, since you don't have to deal with the annoying bones of oxtail. Finally, the duck was amazing. It had a really nice sear and some crisp on the edge. Eating the meat with that thick layer of fat was decadent and savory. And topping it with some of the diced mango was perfect. Overall, I really enjoyed the food I had here. Their tapas are modern and well-executed. The half portions are somewhat small, but it was a nice way of sampling the different dishes on their menu.

    Our favorite tapas place in Malaga - all the dishes have he extra spice or flair to make it special. Save room for desert.
