    Sardinas rebozadas

Came for dinner on a weekday. Mixed feelings on the food, quality, authenticity, and cost. The service was good. They came to fill up waters, were very nice, just that they were a little slow. The place is nice and they must have live music because there is a small stage at the corner setup for a musician, maybe a band of 2 people. Now the food. Overall expensive for what you get, except for a couple of things. The appetizers were actually good. We had croquetas de bacalao (cod fish croquettes) and croquetas de Chistorra. The chistorra croquettes were quite good. Each order brought 6 small croquettes for $12 each. So each bite was $2. Fried calamari were ok but way too pricey at $14 for the quality. Maybe acceptable if it was from Dominos pizza at half the price. The grilled octopus was good but at $24 for one 8-inch tentacle, it's a bit much. Overall, appetizers were good. For entrees we ordered Sardinas fritas at ajillo. These were good and for $14 I think the price was fair. Fabada Asturiana for $13 was not good. It felt as it was made a day ago. The fabes were overcooked and mushy. The morcilla was not of great quality. It had a piece of pork belly fat that was not very appealing and it didn't have neither the taste or traces of lacón (ham hock). The Callos à la madrileña were also a letdown. Not enough broth. It was made with garbanzo (chickpeas) which is not traditional. It has chistorra instead of chorizo. And the tripe did not taste great and at $18 it was even worse. Lastly we also got the grilled chicken with potatoes. $24 was a bit much. This was probably worth no more than $14. The chicken was cooked ok, but they left a lot of the nerves, fat, and cartilage so it was not a great experience eating it. We are of spanish descent and eaten great Spanish food. This restaurant unfortunately was not a great experience in the food quality. Some things were good, some just bad, and overall was way to expensive for what it is. I probably won't be coming back.

Wow, what a great time we had for our mother in laws 80th bday bash!! If you are planning a party or just to impress a date on a dinner and show 'Spaniard - Flamenco Night Style' this is the place! The service was incredible.... I want to thank the manager Yisley and the main server Tyson for their service! Also want to give a huge thanks for Copper Carol Events for the beautiful decorations and catering on hosting this special event for our bday Queen! Additionally, to the entertainers...they were amazing! I need to call the restaurant to get their info for future events! Most importantly the bday girl had the time of her life!! Thank you Taberna De Ignacio!

I had to stop by since I was in the neighborhood, it's a little place but with great food. The ambiance is welcoming and the staff friendly. I tried the beef paella and boy the flavors are amazing! You can taste the saffron and beer mixture, I never ask for a second plate but I could not resist. Folks please stop by in and try Spanish food from Spain. Delicious It is a bit pricey but worth it here. Enjoy

We had the Greek Salad (crisp veggies, briny olives, creamy feta), Overnight Oats (creamy and wholesome), Spinach & Cheese Empanadas (comforting and tasty), Crunchy Veggie Wrap (fresh and crunchy), and my favorite--the Tomato Bagel, perfectly toasted with the right amount of cheese and seasoning. Drinks like the Iced Vanilla Latte and Cappuccino were decent too. Service was quick and friendly. They do have seating, but I liked that everything comes in a to-go box--super convenient whether you're dining in or taking it along. Portions are just right, filling enough for one person without feeling heavy. The vibe is bright, modern, and full of energy. Fun fact: Pura Vida started in Miami and is now expanding to the West Coast soon!

Once we took the elevator down from the parking garage, we were very easily able to find the restaurant. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available, and when we walked in the staff greeted us immediately and gave a quick run down of the menu items to the first timers in the group. The food was all freshly prepared and all of the options on the menu were readily available. We each placed our order and decided to eat inside because it was a pretty hot day. The restaurant was also very clean from what I could see, and of course the food was fresh and tasted delicious, however the steak was overcooked. Usually it is served medium, but this time around it looks like it was well done. Overall, I give this location 4 stars and would definitely stop by again if I was in the area.

Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. I came by their new location in Westland Mall today since I was shopping and I was hungry. However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

His level of customer service immediately stood out, he genuinely takes the time to guide first-time customers and make them feel comfortable. Frank suggested what he considers the four must-try sandwiches for a first visit: the Italian, Tuna, Corned Beef & Pastrami, and the Philly Cheesesteak. I followed his recommendation and tried the tuna sandwich, which was outstanding, fresh, perfectly balanced, and generously prepared. I also took a Tuna sandwich to go for my wife after trying it and ordered the Italian to try later, which I'm already looking forward to.
