We had already said we wanted to purchase the incense and a candle and a few moments after we got ready for the guy to ring us up another lady walked up and both the guy and the lady went to the corner where she was to assist her while leaving us standing waiting to be rung up. After they got done chit chatting with her she said she wanted to make a purchase and walked up next to us standing in front of the register. The guy completely ignored us standing there and started to ring up the lady who came after we had already said we were ready to make a purchase. So we just walked away and kept it moving. It was obvious they didnt want our money. Not sure why they gave the other lady preferrential treatment but it is their loss. They were having their annual sale where you can buy body care items for $4.95. The lady at the front door was GREAT. She pulled me in and made sure I was aware of the deals. She was super friendly and had amazing energy. This location is pretty big and has a lot in stock. I have gone to others that were not fully stocked, so this was a plus. I did not have an issue finding what I wanted. Plus, the store is super clean and updated with cool decor. The sales associates are also quick when ringing you up. Even though there was a line, I was able to get out of there quick which was a plus. Great location and great staff!

There was a gentleman who was running the store, who I learned was the owner! They had apparently been open in LA for a long time before packing up and moving over to La Mirada! The plants inside (as the name might suggest) were a mixture of trees and small plants. I'm not the best at knowing what plant species are what, but the vibe was very gardeny. What I mean by that is, that the owner of the location seems familiar with the plants, handling them, repotting them, etc. The entire time we were perusing, he was moving plants around, repotting, while also being very attentive and answering our questions. My favorite part of the store is tucked away in the back corner. It's a collection of art and art pieces. The painted plants were actually painted by the store owner's mother! In the end, that's what I ended up buying (I got 3 painted pictures). I don't remember exactly what the price was, but I remember being very pleased with what we got. If you have 5-10 minutes to spare and you're in the area, I recommend checking out Namoo Plant Shop. What you find might actually surprise you!
