I asked the waitress what La Sinaloense means. She said it means: a girl from Sinaloen. The outdoor area was very comfortable, and had a live mariachi band that was fantastic. The inside had Spanish karaoke. The hostess sat us and then we were forgotten for maybe 20 mins, but the waiter felt bad and comped our beers which made it ok haha The food was so so tasty and the presentation was beautiful. We were a little skeptical when we saw the menu and breakfast was misspelled in Spanish (desalluno, not desayuno). We were all craving fish tacos, so my brother got two, I ordered one and my mother got one and a marlin taco. I ate mine and it tasted pretty good. I wanted to ordered more but our waitress wasn't coming, so my mother gave me her's. She got some of the tomatoes off the taco and onto her marlin taco. (That one was a whole different problem, just fish and no garnish or veggies.) Just as I finished the first taco I said it was so good it tasted almost like shrimp. I started to eat the other one and mentioned it again because the fish fillet was segmented like shrimp and was even pink and tasted like shrimp. This freaked out my mother who is anaphylactic allergic to shrimp, so she asked another waitress and was told that fish and shrimp share fryers. We didn't think much of it because I ate her "fish taco". My mother's throat was starting to itch, but we attributed this to me sipping out her $4 soda. Well check comes out and it says 3 fish tacos, 1 marlin and 1 shrimp. The waitress swore up and down my mother ordered a shrimp taco. Which is a lie because my mother has not eaten shrimp in the last 30+ years. Very disrespectful. My mother was freaking out because we had no epi pen, and she had eaten the tomatoes off the shrimp. The lady offered no concern and said that my mother's allergies had been cured because she ate off the taco and was fine. Absolutely unprofessional. My mother could have gone into anaphylactic shock, or died. We were both sad and angry when we left. read more

However like any other restaurant you expect the food to be good, this was not the case food was tasteless and bland also the fresh tomato tasted like it was cut with the dirty knife used to filet raw fish that's exactly what the fresh slices of tomato tasted like Gross!! We always drive by this place and decided to give it a try. We stopped by on a Monday afternoon and we're seated right away. Our server was very attentive. The food was good my husband ordered the aguachile he said it was OK I ordered the fish tacos they were they were just fine my daughter ordered the Chilaquiles which she loved we also tried dessert which was a chocolate cake it was a little dry and my Margarita wasn't the best. I saw this trending on new places in the area for lunch. My colleague's father is from Sinaloa so he was excited to go try it out. Sinaloa is known for their seafood, and I love seafood! We got there around 11AM and it was empty, no lunch time crowd yet. Nice big parking lot too. The server immediately brought out chips, salsa, and a tomato based soup made from the seafood stock for all of us. In the background is music by popular Mexican artists. Much of the menu was in Spanish so I couldn't really make out what's what. I was between the surf and turf quesadilla or burrito. Ended up getting the burrito, wet style. My colleague got the shrimp cocktail and our other colleague got the surf and turf nachos. Food took a long time to come out, so be ready to get to go boxes after a few bites or be late for work. BUT, the portions were HUGE and delicious. My burrito was larger than my forearm! I would say it's 3" in diameter and about a foot long. The shrimp cocktail came out in this huge caldron looking bowl, and that was the small size - can't imagine what the large size would have looked like. It was packed full of plump shrimp. A bit pricey at $17 but they didnt skimp on the seafood portion. My other colleague's nachos plate came out on a huge plate too! It was just a mountain of food on this 14x14" plate. For $13, that is a steal. She split that into 3 meals. My burrito was $15 and I also split that into 3 meals. In fact, if we didn't eat any of the food there, I don't think we would've been able to pack each of our plates in the to go boxes. This lunch was a win for sure! read more

A nice female waitress sat me down and provided a menu. As I was going over the menu she returned with some fresh chips and salsa. She also provided a cup of consume'. Very flavorful and a good way to start a meal. I ordered the carne asada plate. It comes with a side salad, rice, beans, tortillas. Before my plate came out, my salad came first. Nice fresh salad and good dressing. My carne asada came out quick and hot. Very good plate and good portions. This whole meal was very filling and also very flavorful. Great new place to sit and dine on good Mexican food. Also a great place to sit back and have a beer after work. The female waitress was very kind and provided great service.
