Another great breakfast with the parentals after church. Yummy food. Great service & chill vibes. This is one of our frequent spots to visit.
This was our first time dining at La Sinaloense Mexican Seafood Restaurant in Chula Vista, CA. The restaurant opened five years ago in the middle of the pandemic. As soon as we walked in, the servers were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant has beautiful Mexican pottery with plants and ceramic plates as decor. We tried the following dishes: *Molcajete Cielo, Mar y Tierra. Plate comes with rice and refried beans. The dish for some reason did not come in the hot stone "molcajete" like in the picture. My dad was looking forward to that presentation and was a bit disappointed but said he really enjoyed the chicken, steak and shrimp. The shrimp comes in a delicious creamy chipotle sauce. *Mojarra Frita Al Mojo De Ajo: Fried Tilapia in garlic butter sauce. The plate also came with rice and refried beans. *Fried Fish taco *Fried shrimp taco *Kids quesadilla plate *Michelada beer All of the dishes were delicious and good portion sizes. They gave us a taste of their homemade menudo in red sauce. The meat was very tender with a nice tasting broth. I'm definitely coming back for that soup and also try their breakfast menu. There's indoor & outdoor seating with plenty of parking space. I rate this restaurant 4.5/5 stars. Definitely coming back! Give it a try! Happy Yelping :)
Came back for another Sunday morning after church breakfast. Service is always great. The food is amazing the server had the plate me and wife were sharing split on two separate plates. Very thoughtful. We also shared a fish taco very flavorful. The music and vibe is always on point. Highly recommend this place definitely can't wait to come on Taco Tuesday.
We have visited this restaurant a few times in the past and always had a great experience, which is why I confidently recommended it to my family. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different and extremely disappointing. Our waitress, Yesenia, provided very poor customer service from the beginning. She was rude, inattentive, and made us feel unwelcome. Some guests requested water and never received it. Our food did not come out at the same time, and several dishes were cold when served. I also specifically ordered hard shell tacos and instead received soft tacos. One thing we did enjoy was the shrimp cocktail, which was delicious. However, two people ordered it at the beginning of the meal, and only one received it on time. The other person did not receive their shrimp cocktail until about 15 minutes after everyone else had already received and started eating their meals. That delay made the dining experience even more frustrating. What made the situation even more upsetting was how mistakes were handled. One of my friends mentioned to Yesenia in Spanish that the service had not been good, but there was no apology or attempt to improve the situation. Later, while packing up uneaten food to-go, she dropped the food all over the floor and did not apologize or offer to replace it. I also spoke directly with the manager about our concerns. At first, he did not seem to understand me, even when I spoke in Spanish. Eventually he understood, but unfortunately there was still no apology, concern, or effort made to correct the situation. To make matters worse, our bill was approximately $172, and a tip of $24 was added despite the extremely poor service we received. It was embarrassing to bring my family to a restaurant I had spoken so highly about, only to have such a terrible experience. The service was absolutely horrible, and based on this visit, I would not recommend this restaurant.
La comdia esta super deliciosa el servicio siempre super atentos. Nos asen sentir como en casa. Fotos de 2 diferentes ocasions q venimos a este lugar.
The chicken fajita plate is really good, it was very tasty, and filling. No complaints on the service, food or the atmosphere.
Rating is solely due to SERVICE that we received. This was my first time coming here. We came here for a birthday celebration & I believe it was karaoke night. Amazing live singers, but it was SO obnoxiously loud I couldn't even hear my husband who was sitting right NEXT to me. They have their own private lot which was great because I try avoiding anywhere that has bad parking situations or overly crowded. It was somewhat a full house. Our party being the biggest group. I ordered a steak platter. Don't get me wrong, my food was great! I ordered it medium well & it was cooked to perfection. Flavorful, just chef's kiss. It also came with nopal, tortillas, a spoon of guac (literally 1 spoon), hella pico, panela, frijoles, & some fire papas. The papas had cheese & bacon. Soooo delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better dish. & honestly, wished our experience was better so I could continue to support this local business. THE DOWNFALL - To begin, again, the music... Couldn't even hear my own thoughts. When the waiter was asking for my order I told her, "I can't hear you." She had the NASTIEST attitude & it showed. It was an older blondish curly haired lady. Not my goddamn fault you guys have everything on volume 100. She proceeded to point to her electronic ordering system while rolling her eyes. I literally ordered it on the system myself. When we went in, we asked if the bill could be split PRIOR to ordering anything & they said YES. Cool, easier for everyone. After they were so unorganized & obviously did NOT know how to handle a large party, they got orders confused & ended up putting everything on ONE bill. They proceeded to later tell us we could not pay separately making it even more complicated when they already seemed to be flustered. Keep in mind, this was AFTER they told us we could split the bill by parties. While looking at the receipt, there were items that no one ordered being charged. We spent 30mins trying to figure out the bill. Had they done what they originally said they were, it would've been a breeze. They ended up willing to split everyone's bill per party, therefore making things even WORSE. Because they did not know who ordered what. My husband & I shared the steak platter, a jamiaca, & two micheladas. Our bill came out to no more than $70. We were first in line to pay; my husband gave them cash & they did not tender any change. IT IS NOT UP TO YOU TO DECIDE HOW MUCH WE WANT TO TIP BY KEEPING OUR CHANGE. If they were concerned about tip, they should have their own policies about large parties, gratuities, & enforcing split bills. My husband didn't say anything & I was outside because everything was giving me a headache. Had I been inside I would've asked for it back myself. But my husband let it go. Whatever, if they need it more than us. Lol. That's why you get paid hourly & it's not a requirement to tip. Although we always do, even if service is SHITTY. But again, not up to a waiter to decide. If you don't like your job or rely solely on tips, find a different job paying more! Once we paid, we stood outside in the parking lot waiting for the rest of our party. I'm not sure what happened after we went outside since we were the first to pay - but the other black-haired waitress, also older shouted profanities outside to us while inside the restaurant & we were standing in parking lot. Couldn't hear her clearly to make out what she said. Loved the food but not somewhere I'd be willing to spend money at after the horrible experience. BAD SERVICE, RUDE WAITERS, NASTY ATTITUDES, UNORGANIZED. DO NOT RECOMMEND & WOULD NEVER COME BACK.
From the moment you walk into this place the customer service is amazing. The chips and salsa are delicious I ordered the costa azul because I haven't found a place here In San Diego with good ones. Well I found the right place. This place is super good and the restaurant is super clean and a really nice family feel. Great job and I'll definitely be back.
If you want a spicy cocktail or one that has at least some lemon flavor to it. This is not the one. Very bland taste. I asked the girl who gave it to me if it came with chile or salsas and she said it had everything packed already. I opened it and it's just ketchup and mayonnaise lol. Don't recommend this place to go, maybe dining in is a better experience.
Guests are greeted as they step into restaurant, and seated with menus, chips and delicious salsa. My mom an I shared a taco and enchilada combination plate. Bothe of us were served a noodle and tomato based soup to start. When entree arrived, extra plates and utensils were brought too. Our plate included beans, rice, nopales, guacamole and large taco and enchilada. Taco had at least 6 shrimp and enchilada was loaded with cheese and had a delicious sauce.
While our daughter was visiting us from Florida, she wanted real Mexican food. We found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. My husband got a Carnitas taco & enchilada combo, I got my favorite a Bean & Cheese burrito and our daughter got the same as me:) My husband is really hard to impress and he loved his meal! He loved it so much he wants to go back and get the same thing again! Our bean and cheeses burritos were as yummy as anticipated. The chips and salsa was delicious. The servers were friendly and fun. The place is clean, they can easily accommodate large parties. They could use a little refurbishment here and there but overall we were very happy and plan on going back!

Stopped by for some lunch on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by how easy everything was. There was plenty of seating and parking, and the dining room had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Our server was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal without being intrusive. The chips and salsa were also a hit. The chips were thick and crispy, and the salsa was fresh with just the right amount of kick. I ordered the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, which were served with Mexican orange rice, refried beans, and warm, tasty flour tortillas. The portion was big, filling, and delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. Overall, this was an excellent meal with satisfying portions. If you're looking for Mexican seafood in a comfortable setting, this spot is worth a visit. read more

La Sinaloense Filete Coronado - 4.4/5 This was a white fish topped with shrimp, melted cheese, and a creamy chipotle sauce. I really enjoyed this dish. The shrimp was slightly overcooked, but it still had good flavor. It came with rice, beans, and fresh corn tortillas, which were surprisingly good. The portion was generous and definitely filling. Queso Fundido with Chorizo - 4.6/5 This was my favorite item. The queso fundido was rich and flavorful, and paired with the fresh corn tortillas and the house salsa, it was hard to beat. Overall, La Sinaloense is a little on the pricey side, but the food quality matches the cost. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were solid, and I left satisfied. I'd definitely make this one of my regular spots. read more
It's official my favorite Campechana in SD is here now. A bit pricey, yes but worth it, it can feed 2 people that's how much they give you & the broth of it is amazing & yes I finished it by myself because I'm a Big Back. Food here for the most part is flavorful & good, portions are good on some items & some are ok. Like the tacos I wish they were a bit bigger & yes they can be a bit pricey here but good. Fish & shrimp Chiveche very flavorful as was the 7 Mares. And they have very good Chips & Salsa. Shrimp Fajitas were a big hit too. Shrimp Enchiladas plate good but for the portion a bit pricey. Customer service was great, right when you walk in they attend you, place is clean & has a good vibe, they have in & outside sitting. They make good Micheladas too. Like I said some items can be a bit pricey but portions are pretty good on some of those items & food is good. So yes I would come back especially for that Campechana, they have a fan in me. I'll just come right after pay day knowing I'll spend some good money on good Mariscos. See you soon Sinaloense & keep up that good work amigos :) read more

Very good food. Thank you for the great experience. The food was delicious. I have only tried that dish at home and not quite trusted outside restaurants to make shrimp with bacon. But this wasn't the exception I had to try it. And it was worth it! Thank you!! read more

I go here often for great posolé. It's often busy but especially weekends for breakfast. The posole is served with ample spices and garnishes. Bone in short rib, lots of hominy, so filling! On of my favorite places for posolé. It's a casual restaurant, not fancy, average noise, somewhat tight quarters, simple decor, beer and cocktails. Definitely recommend the food! read more
