La Sierra is located on Blackwell Street near the Salem Street Bridge. They have a private parking lot and is a great place to stop on your way to work or home. They are very close to the Lakeland Bus Terminal. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The staff speaks Spanish, but as far as I can tell speak English as well. Some obviously will speak more than others, but always enough to take care of the customer. The coffee is amazingly fresh and is tastes amazing. I think they heat the milk which somehow or another enhances the flavor. This is a Columbian Coffee Shop and as such knows good coffee. Also be aware they do not offer decaffeinated. The pastries are very good and inexpensive. The staff can tell you what is inside of each if you have questions. I wish they would put the description in English which would make it easier for people not familiar with the pastries to decide. I am sure people reading this review will hear 'Dover' and write this establishment off. I think this is a huge mistake because Dover is safe and has several great restaurants.

Best coffee in Morris county Order the Cafe con leche it comes out perfect every time. Side of apple turnover or chocolate filled pastry never a bad choice.

This is a fantastic coffee shop! My wife and I stop here frequently and always order the Café con Leche. The Colombian coffee is outstanding and they steam the cream before putting in. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

Colombian breakfast platter was great except the eggs were cold.

I wanted to give this Colombian coffee place a 4. Service was quick and friendly. The First Lady I spoke to lacked English and my Spanish was not good enough. Another lovely Colombiana stepped in and helped me. I wanted breakfast to go with my excellent caffe negro. She steered me to scrambled eggs with sausage and peppers which unfortunately was cold. That killed the 4 star because the plantains were unbelievable as was the delicious large chorizo. I also got some pastries which came with the platter. I don't know what they were but I would describe them as a Colombian biscuit. The ambiance is lively with Latin music playing and almost everyone here is speaking Spanish. I almost never in Dover but I had time to kill since I was in Randolph on Route Ten which was commercial and boring. I'm glad I came and I'd come again but next time I will ask for huevos caliente. Parking was not too hard to find and they accept major credit cards. It looks like they toast their own coffee as well. So in short if you're in Dover check this place out.

Fantastic cafe con leche. My favorite pastry there with my coffee is the guava and cream cheese bread.

Slightly misleading. I read "roasters", and assumed they sold beans. It's all South American...and the coffee was delicious

I had a very good latte here, as well as a tasty guava pastry. Total cost was under $5. Yum!

The best kept secret in Dover!…read more My boyfriend and I came here by chance when we were in Dover craving yuca fries, and since then, we've been hooked! We even came here to eat two days in a row once hahah Prices can't be beat, food is high quality deliciousness, and employees are extremely nice. You really get more bang for your buck when you order Bandeja Paisa, Especial de Bandeja, or the Calentado Paisa. They're all a little different but they each come with a variation of your choice of meat (grilled beef, chicken, pork, or chicarron) with rice, beans, egg, and corn patty in addition to whatever makes each dish different. For example: Bandeja Paisa includes grilled beef, chorizo, AND chicharron; Especial de Bandeja includes maduros and a beverage. Those options are all between $9-$12.50 AND the portions are huge!!! Sometimes when we don't want to get a huge platter like the ones listed above, we'll even opt for ordering multiple sides to make our own "platters" lol. I've ordered sides of yuca fries, chorizo, rice, and the Caldo de Costilla (beef rib broth - $4 under the breakfast menu) and be SUPER full at a super cheap price! ALSO! They have the best pink sauce and hot sauce ever. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just sooo good and flavorful. The pink sauce is very garlicy and the hot sauce has a nice kick and a slight vinegar-y taste. Mmm. I can't rave enough about this place. It's a tiny restaurant though so tables are limited (especially with COVID-19 social distancing in place), but if you have a chance to dine in, do it! They also offer take-out. Highly recommend!

For starters, the chicken is flavorful, fresh and always on point. The rice and beans as well, but french fries are always a miss - stale and floppy - but the chicharron makes up for it! The only downside here: if you don't speak Spanish, you're screwed with both placing the order and picking up primarily due to it being a family owned establishment in a heavily populated Latin/Hispanic community. I've tried calling in a handful of times and have been put on hold for a while or hung up on after a few tries. It's pretty tough to have a conversation with them primarily due to the loud background noise and distant tone picked up by their touch less headsets the employees wear. It can get a bit frustrating if you're not able to speak moderate Spanish, but the alternative is just order Uber Eats or DoorDash, honestly lol it's still so worth it though!
