Really enjoyed the food here. This place is bustling during lunch hour! Don't be fooled though, they dish out orders quick. Try the: -tripitas, asada fajita, al pastor, and beef cheek. My favorite was the beef cheek quesadilla. Filled to the brim with meat! Definitely coming back here next time we're in the area.

Ordered La Salsa Verde again. This time I ordered it through door dash. It came package very well in a bag, that was taped up. I got four tacos total, 3 asada-fajita and 1 tripitas dorada. The tacos were so delicious, this is definitely my favorite taco spot in Dallas. Love love loveee the aguacate salsa!!! You must try this taco spot!

Yes, this is my new favorite place for authentic Mexican tacos in North Dallas. The flavors are real with meats like CDMX. Not sure why this place is called La Salsa Verde if they aren't going to provide green salsa with the order :( The inside was crowded and busy, which was expected given it's the weekend. The meat just did not live up to the quality I was hoping for, personally. Probably one of those spots that's better to do dine in instead of takeout

This was the second time I tried this location. I didn't have the best experience the first time therefore I gave them and shot. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. The food expeditors were very prompt and helpful. The mark fell off when they brought my order. I had 3 different meats. Asada, chuleta and tripas (crunchy). The asada/fajita was gummy, I expect a grilled texture but it tasted stewed. Chuleta (pork chop) was bland insipid. The only flavor was from the veggies and sauce. The tripas were burned into little briquettes. To say that the $25+ charge for this poor excuse of tacos was underwhelming is an understatement. I've had the food truck version and it was delicious. I would not recommend this location at all.

I came here around 1pm and it was packed. A good amount of seating space with a mix of low and high tables. My party got a mix of the asada and pastor tacos. The tacos are differently priced by the protein - reasonably priced. They give the cilantros & onions separately wrapped in foil. This was a win for me because I personally do not like them. Some of the most authentic tacos I've had in Dallas.

first time trying their food and def won't be the last- come here if you LOVE mexican food, really good prices too and it's crowded as it should be cause it's a good place to eat at. Service was super fast too probably only waited like 3 minutes after sitting down from taking our order on a busy saturday afternoon. Ambiance was fun and not cramped at all.

Great place for good tacos! It is always busy but the staff does a great job. You place your order as your walk in, and they call out your numbers for pick up. We tried a combination of tacos along with the birria consume and they were all cooked well and flavorful. The restaurant itself is super casual but great for groups.

As someone who's not a Tex-Mex fan, finding authentic Mexican food around here feels like finding a unicorn. Living in SoCal, amazing Mexican food was everywhere, so I've definitely been spoiled. Since moving to Dallas, it's been one disappointment after another... until we found this place. It was so good our family came back 3 times in 2 weeks. That alone should tell you everything. My go-to is the Tinga de Pollo and the Birria tacos. So flavorful and exactly what I've been missing. The rest of my family kept ordering the birria and quesabirria, and there wasn't a single complaint at the table. Don't skip the aguas frescas either. We tried the melon, limón, and Jamaica, and every one of them was refreshing and delicious. Just a heads up... weekends get PACKED. But honestly? It's worth the wait. If you can swing a weekday, it's much more relaxed. I'm so glad we stumbled across this spot. It's become our go-to whenever we're craving authentic Mexican food, and it's easily one of the closest things we've found to what we used to enjoy back in Southern California. We'll definitely keep coming back. read more

You'll almost never not see a line here and there's good reason for that. The tacos (and everything i've tried so far) come out fast, hot and fresh. Their homemade salsa rojo, verde, and crema are incredible and spicy. My favorite protein here is the Cabeza. This place is almost always jam packed. We came on a Sunday at 1pm. The line was long but moved super quick. Make sure you're ready to order. I ordered two fajita gorditas and my husband ordered a torta cubana. The chefs are cooking nonstop so it feels nice and warm inside. The air smells of happiness and salsa, you hear speaking all around you. The sound of people not on their phones and enjoying each others company. The gorditas took forever to cook (like 20 min) and everyone else was getting their taco orders... so I would not order gorditas again. They also were just stuffed with meat and nothing else. There was a weird side (like the repollo for pupusas) and it was all wet and made one side of the gordita wet. Their food is normally super good. My husband loved his Cuban torta. It was packed with meat- no skimming here! It also came with a bag of chips. It cost us $25 for both people, no drinks. Super affordable! read more

Was recommended this location by a family friend who raves about their tostadas. I order 4 tacos (1 asada/ 1 Al pastor/ 1 suadero/ 1 cabeza ). All 4 tacos were decently sized and tasty. Nothing out of this world, they lacked a bit of flavor but for the price they weren't horrible. I appreciate they provide a wide array of salsas at each table so that you can customize as you please. I also got the famous chicken rings tostada. This was a the star! Flavor was on point and well stacked with toppings. I also purchased 2 aguas frescas (1 piña /1 tamarindo) both were tasty but definitely very sweet. For dessert I wanted to try their flan and ordered 1. Unfortunately this was not great. It was very doughy for some reason. Super thick but not in a good way. Overall the prices were fair and the service was prompt. They ambiance is causal quick dining that caters to groups of all sizes. I would return solely for the tostadas but would not drive out of my way for them. read more

I've always seen this restaurant and how packed it, so i decided to give it a chance today. we ordered al pastor, barbacoa, and pollo tacos as well as an agua de jamaica. the tacos were cheap ($1.95), but the tacos were very small. the meats were alright, could use more flavor. the salsas definitely carried, but there's much better salsa verde de cremyou can tell that it was made without love, just more like rushing it to fulfill the long line. it makes sense though, but I'd rather choose quality or quantity. I personally wouldn't come back, I'd rather choose quality over quantity, but to each their own. read more

The energy at this place is crazy! They are so nice, so quick, and the food is damn good! The tortas look amazing, I will have to go back and try them but today I stumbled in here for lunch and tried 3 chicken tacos. Paid about 6 bucks cause I ordered a side of grilled onions! Love it & it will be my new taco spot for lunch. And these pictures? No I didn't get that food in particular but she was nice enough to pose the food for me so I could use it in my review lol! Honestly pretty much anything u order here is pretty good!! Some tacos are amazing!! Like the faji-queso and ceci-queso, and the cachete are my favorite!! Food and service are good!! Do yourself a favor and don't bother going. Waited 20 minutes for tacos they forgot to make and didn't get my order until asking 3 times for it. Never coming back to this location again. The lengua was cold and on top of that they wouldn't remove the tip from the order which is, also as they should know illegal, and will be getting a chargeback from my bank. I would never recommend anyone to come here due to the lack of customer service and the rude employees. read more

Excellent authentic tacos! So much better than the fast food taco places all around. They are street taco sized at only $2.00 or so! Mucho delicioso! They have all of the standard Mexican fare but we were happy with the tacos. You could tell that it's popular because it was packed! read more

We are used to Taco trucks and hole in the wall Mexican places in Southern California. We have been looking for a good Mexican Taco place since we moved to Texas in November 2021. Glad our neighbor mentioned La Sala Verde. We went the same day we learned of the place. It was a Friday night and the place was packed. We ordered Al Pastor, Buche, Chicharon, Lengua and Surtida. Oh wow. What a God sent. All the tacos we ordered was very good. The meats were well marinated, flavorful and just seasoned perfectly. The Chicharon was the bomb for me. I can have that all day. The next favorite was the Al Pastor.(although I missed the grilled pineapple slices it usually comes with in L.A.) The Jamaica drink was also very good. Not too sweet. Just perfect. Counter service was also excellent! We will definitely be back. read more

I am all for supporting Hispanic businesses as I am Hispanic myself however I do not recommend this restaurant whatsoever I've been coming to different salsa verde location for the past 3 years but this location so far has been the worst for me 2 months ago they sold us an expired flan after telling the manager she refused to refund us after she clearly saw it was expired $5 thrown down the drain left it alone came back for the tacos but this time I came on a budget and had $45 on my card they charged me $45 and then they made me pay another $38 and the total was $38 so I paid twice and the money was never refunded. They did tell me that us Latinos never had money and always want to go out to eat. The cashier and manager did also throw other racial slurs. Because of the situation they made us wait over 45 for our food food was made all wrong food is definitely subpar el paisano Is definitely better with their food in service this place is not welcoming of Latinos employees are rude restaurant also dirty managers greeedy they only care about money not customers I will never be back! read more

This spot has been one of my favorite food finds this year! Great variety of street tacos; I had the Fajiqueso and Pastorqueso and they have become a favorite. I think Chicharron will be the next one to try; I'm excited! All tacos come with sides of cilantro, onions, and slices of radishes and at least 2 types of sauces. Reasonably priced tacos and 4 tacos filled me up well. Definitely a great spot to get tacos! read more

La Salsa Verde is my go-to taco place. My boyfriend and I can usually throw down 6-8 tacos each, we could probably do 10 if we tried but everything in moderation, right? Authentic Mexican street tacos, made to order, with delicious, in-house made salsa. I always get the cabeza, tripa, lengua, and cachete. The meats are sooo soft and tender! I wish they assembled the onion and cilantro on there for you because when they put it on the side there's usually not enough BUT they're great about giving you more if you ask. I've never seen a taco joint offer as many options as La Salsa Verde. Who knew a cow had so many parts to make tacos from? Delicious delicious delicious. read more

Probably the best carne asada tacos I have ever had in DFW and the Tacos al Pastor are incredibly tender and flavorful with a touch of pineapple in the authentic flavor base. A cleaner counter and dining area, as well as a friendlier and more welcoming staff would make this place a 5-star worthy gem. read more

One a Sunday morning, after grocery shopping, my Spouse and I were craving tacos (we're huge fans!). We've often seen this place bustling with customers, so we decided to give it a try since it was relatively quiet. Around 10:30 am, the place was almost full, with only a few tables left. Despite not knowing much Spanish, we did our best to communicate our order to the cashier. The establishment was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all employees dressed uniformly. On the tables, they provided paper towels and three different types of hot sauce. The food was cooked to order, and we could watch the cooks behind the counter preparing it. The street tacos were a hit--my spouse declared she would happily return just for them. I opted for breakfast tacos with chorizo and egg, but I found that they were a bit light on the eggs; I'll be sure to ask for more next time. We're definitely planning to return to try more items from the menu and provide further reviews. read more

Despite this, I remained hopeful that the food would redeem the situation. However, upon arriving home, I discovered a glaring oversight: seven of my tacos were missing. La Salsa Verde in Carrollton definitely deserves 5 stars! I got the chicken quesadillas, and they were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and friendly, and you can tell this is one of the better locations because of how clean and well-run it is.
