They have taken the standard chain restaurant approach to service, then added a layer of genuine friendliness and helpfulness making dining here a pleasure. We have often arrived here after taking my MIL shopping at nearby Boundary Mill (so imagine: parched, tired, hot, shopped out - you get the picture) and left calm, happy and restored. Not bad for less than a tenner a head on the lunchtime menu. So I'd recommend this branch highly. It never seems crowded. The booths are comfortable, and you can settle down for nachos, prawns or potato skins for starters. The bottomless drinks keep arriving (watch the caffeinated ones, or you'll be bouncing around the ceiling all afternoon). The mains include fajitas (highly recommended), enchilladas, chili and plenty of other choices. We've never managed to order desert, but eventually we will learn to skip the starter and try something from the list - anyone for fried ice cream? Go and let yourself be pampered.

There is an extensive menu of mexican food and stuff for even those who dont like mexican. All the food is well presented and will definatly make you feel full afterwards. The staff are also very friendly however you notice the odd one or two cracking under pressure! They offer a fantastic lunch time menu definatly worth the money and also a very good dessert and cocktail menu. They also cater for children.

Good place for group dining such as a birthday or night out with friends, as it's upbeat and can get loud with other groups in the restaurant. The music is good and adds to the atmosphere. Food is super yummy, and there is a lot of gluten free options. I enjoy the fajitas with the gluten free tortilla wraps. They are soft and flavourful and compliment the food. I like that they have gluten free options including dessert, and it makes for an enjoyable fun night out. There is a wheelchair ramp into the restaurant and there is seating for a wheelchair, but the space to manoeuvre can be cramped with full restaurant seating. We eat here several times a year and have always enjoyed the food and fun atmosphere. I also enjoy the margaritas!

We generally go for a quick team lunch about once every 4 weeks and there is some weird…read morelong-standing tradition of going for 'Fish Friday' in the Wetherspoons on Bennetts Hill, which I am not the greatest fan of! Thankfully this Friday we decided to change things up a bit and went to Bodega over the road instead. I've eaten at Bodega many times and it rarely disappoints so I was keen to see what the team thought of it. I booked a table for 8 easily online and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was friendly and took our drinks order quickly. The lads were all pleased to see that they had Estrella on tap, while I opted for a Passion Fruit Twist. We ordered two portions of nachos between us as starters. They arrived and, as usual, each dish was an absolute mountain of food. Even with 8 of us all diving in, we still had plenty to eat each and everyone thought was really tasty. For mains we all went for either quesadillas or burritos with three portions of sweet potato fries to share. Again these all went down really well, my chicken quesadillas and the fries were extremely tasty, despite me overdoing it a bit with the Pip's Hot Sauce! I was really pleased that everyone enjoyed their meals and I hope we get to have many more team lunches at Bodega as the food, service and ambiance is far superior to the 'spoons!

Menu is a mix of latin dishes, Spanish style rice with prawns, corn and beans was flavorful. The nachos were different than expected with thick tortillas topped with salsa, guacamole and pulled pork. A nice kick with jalapeños as well. The fish tacos were dry. No salsa just a square breaded chunk of fish atop cabbage. Average. The Michelada was ok. You can choose your beer and then a little tomato juice, lots of chili salt and lime juice is added. I think the food and drinks here are hit or miss. Would ask for extra hot sauce or salsa on the side to spice up the dishes.
