    Birria with meats

Moms and pops places are the best! The best birria I had in a very long time! I found this place and my boyfriend picked it up to go. So yummy and all the sauces are so good! The broth is good but the meat quality in the Birria was delicious! Tortillas are hand made I'm sure! My stomach is so happy! Cravings satisfied!

This place used to be THE birria spot. Line out the door. The aroma of delicious beef birria in the air. Housemade aguas. But quality just hasn't been the same ever since Chef Edgar expanded to other locations (which have since closed or appear to to be struggling big time). The portions are smaller, the food less flavorful, and the prices went up. Aguas are no longer homemade and are the standard Rica brand. Food is still decent but it's no longer a must try,

My expectations were a bit higher and ultimately our experience was pretty good but we've had better. The birria ramen was a miss. The quality of the meat wasn't enough to make up for the fact that you're paying so much for pre-made ramen in terms of the pricing. We grabbed the birria tour which also was fine. I don't totally understand the seasoning on the tacos (was it tajin? crushed Doritos?) and the filling was just okay. I couldn't tell if these tacos were meant to be soft shell or hard shell as they really weren't either. The highlight was absolutely the consomme, which was actually quite nice. The meal comes with some options (limes, raw onions, etc.) which were a nice addition. The shop itself seems pretty family owned and it did take a fair amount of time to get any of the food. It's also fairly expensive for what it is so we were quite surprised with the ultimate bill. The vibe of the place itself is fascinating. They sell a mix of Asian and Mexican candy. But then there are seemingly Mexican marks/outfits adorning the walls that create a totally different vibe. I can't tell if it's a chain as the branding with their bull logo is everywhere; if they aren't a chain, they've done an exceptional job with their branding.

Hands down the best birria in town! I got two quesabirrias and it was sooo good! I would have gotten another but I was so full just by the 2 I had! The tortillas are hand made and the birria is made to perfection! Perfectly filled with flavor and not dry like other places i've been to! Definitely coming again! Service was great, very quick and friendly! The restaurant was also very clean and organized and they have candy everywhere!

One of the best birria place food taste delicious and fresh! Service is mucho friendly and nice! The restaurant vibe makes u feel like a tourist place because it's nice

3 orders of the QuesoBirria and 2 kids quesadillas.

Came on a Wednesday night and was delighted with our service. The place was not too crowded and we were immediately given service right when we got in. The worker was kind and patient, as my party and gave her our order. We waited no more than 10 minutes for our food--which came out hot and freshly cooked. Our party ordered the queso Birria tacos, which came in a set of 3, generously packed, beef Birria tacos with cheese inside and a consume. Our table was also given a set of condiments (hot sauce, limes, cilantro, and chopped onions) and a roll of paper towel to keep clean. The inside was clean and decorated festively, which made for a bright, lively atmosphere. I would reccomend for any birria lovers.

We came here about 2 months ago before they started to close early to do maintenance. It seemed the same inside besides the register being moved to a new location. We ordered and the food came out extremely quick. I got the Birria tour and my boyfriend got the Quesabirrias. The meat was great but the tortillas seemed so soft that our tacos were breaking. Before our tacos were made crispy which is what had us coming back. We enjoyed our meals but not as well as our very first visit. They no longer serve complimentary beans or tortilla chips which is also a bummer. I asked for a side of frijoles and the server was kind enough to bring some out for me. Really appreciated that kind gesture. The horchata was also very flavorful and not starchy at all. I'd recommend! We were the only ones dining in at the moment so it was quiet inside and some music would play from time to time.

The ordering process is simple: you place your order at the counter, get a number, and then find a table in their spacious dining room. We tried the dorado and quesataco plates, basically beef tacos served with a side of consome but one is with cheese and one without. Both were packed with flavor. Surprisingly, three tacos were quite filling! A nice touch is the complimentary side of salsa, onions, cilantro, and limes that come with your meal. The only downside was the price (it was $3 more for the queso tacos), which is a bit on the higher side, but the quality makes it worth it. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try and plan to return soon with friends.

    Do they have Birria Fries?

I would love to know this as well. I usually just dart for the tacos!

Why did you discontinue the vegan options?

When we finally made it back, we had just seen they made an appearance in a YouTube video, so we were even more excited to try it. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the decor... or lack thereof. Honestly, it reminded me of the taquerías in TJ. To me, those places always give off an "eat and go" vibe. They mean business: eat your tacos and head home. Same concept here. Nothing fancy, just a simple spot focused on the food. Now for the food. I got a vampiro and an asada taco. Hubby got al pastor and asada tacos. I loved how generous they were with the tortilla sizes, meat portions, and guacamole. Everything came out looking delicious and overflowing in the best way. The asada tacos were good, but I think the al pastor tacos were our favorite. I loved the little piece of pineapple on top. Different, but so good. The salsas were also yummy. Overall, the tacos are solid and definitely give TJ vibes. But maybe it's just personal preference, for me they were really good tacos, just not the best I've ever had.
