Super good food and very friendly customer service. Everything is made to order, the food is hot and the portions are generous. The horchata is delicious, and the owners are incredibly kind.

Recommended by a local I was pleased with my meal. The very best Horchata I have Ever had. An absolute must if you enjoy Horchata. The tacos were flavorful with generous fillings. Huarache was cooked fresh, delicious beans , fresh lettuce... but not as generous meat as the tacos. I also was hoping for a little better flavor from the salsa options. The service was fast. The restaurant was clean and had many covid protocols.

    Asada Fries

I recently called in an order for two Asada Fries and a side of fries. Unfortunately, both Asada Fries were burnt. One of them was especially concerning, as the plastic plate it was served in had become inflamed. When I picked up a fry with melted cheese, I noticed the cheese had fused with the plastic, and a piece of the plastic actually came off, leaving a visible hole. This was clearly a food safety issue. I immediately contacted the restaurant to report the problem. The gentleman who answered the phone was polite and apologetic. He offered to remake the order, but I explained I was too far away to return at the time. I requested a refund instead, and he informed me that it could only be processed in person. I told him my husband would stop by the next day. However, I ended up going myself. I spoke with an older gentleman, who I assume is the owner. He was dismissive from the start and claimed he was unaware of the situation. When I referenced the phone call with the staff member, he stepped away--presumably to make a call--and left me waiting without saying anything. When he returned, he said he would "let it slide" this time, but insisted that I should have brought the food back. I explained I wasn't nearby when the issue happened and couldn't return immediately. He then showed me a sample plate and claimed it was normal for the container to look that way. I respectfully disagreed and expressed concern over the clear health risks of serving food on melted plastic. I mentioned that I have been a loyal customer for years and had never experienced anything like this before. Rather than respond with professionalism, he became defensive and began raising his voice. I calmly asked him to lower his tone and explained that I understood mistakes happen--I was simply looking for a reasonable resolution. He finally issued a refund, but it was not the full amount, and there was no apology given. His approach was unnecessarily rude and confrontational, especially in contrast to the respectful customer service I received over the phone. My husband also mentioned that the day he picked up the food, the restaurant appeared to be very busy with students from the school next door. It's possible the food was rushed or overheated, resulting in the damaged plate. Regardless, this was a serious safety concern that should have been handled with more care and professionalism.

Service was friendly and our order was taken swiftly and correctly. The amount of meat on our fries surpasses the typical amount and it was around $15 with taxes. The salsas aren't spicy but are still a great addition of flavor, which I prefer. My girlfriend and I split the fries and drink and even had leftovers so the portion for the price is fantastic even as broke college students. The agua de tamarindo was on the slightly sweeter side without being overwhelming, the flavor was not lost and there were an enjoyable amount of pulp. The vibe inside is your typical Mexican mom and pop shop so it's a familiar yet friendly atmosphere, the music isn't too loud and the parking lot was easy to get into. Definitely recommend if you're in Orange County looking for some asada fries.

Fries are tasty, beans are good, salsa good, Pastor isn't good at all, I don't recommend that meat here. It doesn't taste like pastor unfortunately. They give u ur moneys worth of food which is nice. However to replace meat it's a $3 upcharge which they didn't tell me. I wanted pastor and not asada ... when making my order I asked for the cheese sauce on my fries and not the grated cheese. The lady told me nope cos that's not what comes on it, it's for cheese fries only. Which was off putting and I would have paid extra for it. Place looked clean inside everything was fresh made to order. ALSO that pic of the pastor meat isn't here lol their pastor is in a tin and cooked on the grill which should have been the red flag here.

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

It was a perfect date night! I ordered the mole enchiladas and they did not disappoint. The margaritas were tasty and the warm chips and salsa tasted amazing too. We spoke to the owner on the way out, as he thanked us for being there. And also let us know they also do brunch! Looking forward to coming back.

It is next to a gas station. It looks like a pretty popular place during the lunch hour. It's a smaller place inside, but they do have an outdoor patio. We were able to find a small table, not too far from the front counter. Ordering at the front was easy. The staff was friendly and quick. We could see the cook grilling up the meats as we placed our order. There were at least five different salsas to choose from as well as cucumbers and a chili oil at the self-serve salsa bar. I noticed a customer in front of us ordered a kids plate which included two street tacos and rice and beans. That's what I ended up ordering with Carne Asada and chorizo. There were four or five proteins to choose from for the kids plate. I loved the grilled meats with the char flavor. It was delicious! Everything was well seasoned. I wish I would've ordered a third or maybe even a fourth taco because it was that good! I will definitely come back many times and it's going to be on our lunch rotation for sure.
