I came in to have my retainer removed and decided to switch things up with a new hoop-style nose ring. Juniper checked me in and was awesome about walking me through my options. Gold clasp wasn't in my price range, but I found a really cute silver hoop with stones that worked for me and was within my price range. Then my buddy Zach took care of the actual switch--removing the retainer and putting in the new hoop. He got the size just right, and I absolutely love the new look! Hau checked me out, and once again, the whole experience was easy and fun. I really appreciate the entire team at Infinite. After all these years, it still feels good to walk in and know I'm going to be taken care of. Shout-out to Juniper, Zach, and Hau! Thanks for another great experience.

My artist was amazing! He made sure the colors I wanted were correct as well as the placement. It took a bit to get going but so worth it to have everything go right the first time. My swelling is already down enough to see the fading in my tattoo and it is perfect. My tattoo holds a lot of meaning for me and the date ended up having the same strong meaning. I was comfortable and they made sure of it. Know what you want when you go in and everything will be smooth. If you go in for a tattoo just to have a tattoo you're not going to have a good time any place you go. Know what you want even if it's just in your mind, no drawing. I'm already dreaming up new ideas for tattoos. I had so much fun with Katy. She took such great care of me & care of the project; many hours were spent readjusting the stencils & squinting both eyes to ensure everything was even & symmetrical. Not only is she a phenomenal artist, she also has a great sixth sense for what her client needs & when they need it. She knew when to chat with me to distract me from the ulnar nerve pain, when to offer breaks, when to spray with bactine, when to allow us some quiet time to daydream, etc. The energy in the shop is really great, too. During my last session, another incredible tattoo artist was also working on a project (@racheltruskotattoos) & the vibes were great. Anyways, 5/5 stars! That's as much as I had vetted him going in... To:dr: I will return due to the quality of the work, the vision and artistry he brings to his tattoos, and the consultation he does to make sure the final products are what you want them to be. Full backstory: I've had a tattoo for over 15 years that I hated. An ill conceived Japanese dragon had been made worse when I gave a different artist free reign to rework the design, and the resulting concept just wasn't me Finally went in to consult with Bill and he asked what I was looking for. I told him that, knowing how hard coverups can be, I was considering maybe an armor, biotech, or solar system tat could fix it. He looked at it and said he could fix it a lot of ways... what had a wanted if I could do it from scratch? So I told him I'd always loved the idea of a full Harry Potter themed sleeve or half sleeve. He asked me to put together some ideas and send them over for him to put together and make it art. So I did 7 months later and four sittings in, and my upper half sleeve is complete and the lower half is in design. His work ethic is phenomenal, he takes great pride, and his finished projects are stunning. Thanks so much! Gotta love the use of color throughout the tat... you truly cannot find the original design. Thanks so much Bill!!

Second to none. We can't stop coming back to this place for…read moreour tattoos and we won't. Hell, when we have to move away from the east coast we will undoubtedly make trips back to Wilmington to get tatted up again because we just don't trust anyone else now! While we've gotten tiny easy tattoos on vacation at other places, we will NOT go anywhere else for our more complicated and detailed tattoos. The artists we've used (Verb & J-Rock) just understand their clients. We explain what we want, we provide pictures, and they give us back a masterpiece. It's obvious they understand their clients' unique personalities and tailor their work to accentuate the vibe you give off (or try to give off.) The final product is always infinitely more amazing than we are able to picture in our minds beforehand. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. Some might say it's "pricey" here; we always expect to pay talented artists well as they deserve it and the finished product is more than worth it. If you're nervous about your new piece of art and want to ensure you're getting exactly what you've envisioned (actually better), go nowhere else other than Northern Lights.
