While we paused, the skies opened up and it started to pour rain. The owner and employees were so friendly, inviting us in and helping to bring the baby stroller our group had with us into the store. We sat down, drank some liquor and spent time with them while we waiting out the downpour. We didn't have the pleasure of trying out the actual charcuterie, but we left with some souvenirs, including saffron, and some wonderful memories of our brief time there.

We had reservations for a later time, but fortunately it was not busy and we were able to get a seat at the bar almost an hour and a half prior to our reservation. Make sure you have your green pass or COVID vaccine card to enter the restaurant. Oh. My. Goodness. What an experience. It was our first Michelin star dinner and they definitely delivered! It was so cool sitting at the bar and watching the food prepared in front of us. Servers and chefs were all amazing and explained everything so well. We opted for the Di Martino Tasting menu with wine pairings - essentially 8 courses and 6 wines. In a nutshell, we had: Amuse-bouche del Sea Front (cheese-stuffed pasta with cod), pumpkin orzo with calamari, gemmelli with lentils and clams, penne with tomato sauce and beets, penne with pork shoulder, conchiglione with roast beef, and lastly, La Devozione - their signature spaghetti and best I've had! For dessert, we had a pastamisu and gifted a dessert box with a variety of pastries from the chef. Despite how small these plates look, we were absolutely stuffed afterwards! Still thinking about this delicious meal! We heard that a location is opening in New York City and I can't wait to make a visit!

Prices were all super affordable too even for drinks even being so central to the towns location too. We started with their recommended Shrimp appetizer and it was one of the most memorable bites of our trip. the warm shrimp inside wrapped in this crunchy pasta was like an italian shrimp tempura, all with a lemon cream dipping sauce underneath. Must Try! My Carbonara was excellently done, I will say much more filling than I expected! The Gnocchi was delicious and almost reminded us of a vodka sauce. We also got a Hugo Spritz and Lemon Spritz for 10 Euro each, really reasonable for the area so definitely check this place out if you're visiting Sorrento.

We were a party of 54 people and enjoyed so many delicious foods from Sardines, Calamari, Eggplant, Tomato Salad, Pastas, Chicken, Swordfish... I can't even remember them all. Each dish more delicious than the last. We also enjoyed a glass of Prosecco to start with and each table had the house red and white wine for everyone. I can't wait to return and enjoy another delicious meal or two! We couldn't have asked for a better evening!

He not only gave us a recommendation, he had his friend with whom he was speaking personally walk us a few blocks to the restaurant rather than just give us directions... How nice/friendly was that!!! Boy was it a great restaurant, friendly service by the owner, comfortable ambiance, reasonably priced and a huge menu. Our party of five feasted on a beautifully cooked tender steak, Seafood Pasta that had fresh muscles and clams with perfectly al-denta linquini, an awesome cheese board with delicious cheeses & olives, a Sausage Pasta dish (can't remember the name of the pasta cut) that was out of this world tasty. The fresh bread and fried dough balls (can't remember the official Italian name for these) that were complimentary served upon our arrival were in one word...AMAZING. We truly enjoyed this delicious Italian food...a huge thank you to that shop owner for this outstanding recommendation.
