This is the best pizza in Tulsa, and they also serve up delicious Lebanese food. There are other pizza places that are great, but La Roma is the best. They obviously don't get their ingredients from the same source as most other pizza restaurants, so it doesn't taste just like all the other places. That's a good thing in my mind. It's also a family run place, and has been in business for 37 years as of 2026. I've been eating their food for at least 30 of those years. The family is warm, friendly, hard-working. If they're packed at lunch or dinner, be patient. You won't be disappointed. read more

The best things in food life is Lebanese made eats. I can explain and tell you, I have traveled both East and to West Coasts... even stationed in Europe. This is the best pizza I have ever eaten!! Laroma pizza came highly recommended to me by three individuals that I work with . We had the Supreme pizza, you are going to be lucky if you're able to eat two pieces it has very generous toppings the crust was thin yet crispy . I would have to say this was the best pizza I've ever had in my life . We also had an order of hummus and falafels absolutely delightful on both of those . I would say that this is like a small mom and pop place you are not paying for high dollar atmosphere it's very laid back you are paying for the quality of food that you are getting and you will be so surprised at how good this is you may never want to go to another takeout pizza place ever give this place a try the employees were amazing very friendly the place was very clean I highly recommend I give it a 10 star read more

I am confused by these positive reviews. I've been so excited to try this place but was really disappointed. Very chaotic pickup experience. Pizza tasted like Sam's club pizza. Too cheesy, not very good crust. The tabouli was shockingly small and primarily onions, tasted more like pico de gallo. The falafel was fine but kind of oily. The desserts were pretty good... everything was *way* overpriced. Would not recommend for dine in or carry out. While I stood there (probably 15 minutes) for them to figure out my order, I noticed a diner trying to get help from someone for a long time. read more

While in the area, we decided to have lunch today here. When you walk in, you order at the counter. And the kindest lady assisted us with our order. We ordered a cabbage roll and a medium pizza. Another kind lady got our drinks and we chose a table to sit at. About 10 minutes later, our cabbage roll was brought out. And it was so delicious!! Then another 10-15 minutes and our supreme pizza arrived. The toppings were plentiful and the crust was perfect! My husband said if we lived closer, we would get pizza here weekly. Highly recommend!! I've been here so many times over the years and absolutely live this place. Many of my friends- vegan (like myself), vegetarian, and meaty- as well as family, are similarly enamored of it. This joint has my favourite falafel and baba ganoush in town. The falafel is of the tahini preparation and you can order it spicy if that's your thing (it's mine and they do it right). Their hummus is great and the tabouli is as well. The service is some of the best in town. The folks who work here are so kind and so good at their work! If I'm honest, I would do a 3.5 here but this is such a Tulsa institution. I love the atmosphere--it feels like it could be in NYC or Boston (or some other big city). It's truly a family run establishment. I love both of these things. We tried the Triple Threat not really knowing what we were getting. But, it was good. Not too spicy for us but I could see that some might deem it such. (When we ordered it, the older woman taking our order started fanning herself and when it was delivered, the waiter said "Good luck.") I would order it again but I wish we had ordered two small pies of different varieties. We also had the house salad and it was great with lots of cheese and a great oregano spice. That little neighborhood joint serving up killer pizza and a few middle eastern dishes. The staff do a great job and this place gets packed at times and its completely random if you get in on a slow night its always great chatting with the staff it show that they really care about what the do and it shows in every bite. Its no surprise why there is so much love for this spot, and do not go in expecting food to cranked out in an instant, food this good is crafted with love and it takes a bit longer. That's why I always meet friends here nothing like good food and good friends in a place that feels like its always been here because it has. I am addicted to the supreme pizza it just an awesome combo of meat sauce and cheese and the right amount of mushrooms to break up the texture, when this bad boy comes right out of the oven and is piping it is an experience and just never quits. They have a pretty good spice blend that they work into thing like the cheese pizza and the pepperoni topping is very good its not your traditional peperoni may be the beef ones not too sure but it works well with the pizza. Very friendly staff! They catered to my needs by customizing a pizza to my liking even though it was not on the menu. Toppings: half Alfredo sauce (my personal favorite and half garlic sauce, and then it had chicken, buffalo hot sauce, jalapeños and Parmesan. The pizza is delicious! It's not cheap, and service is not fast, but it makes up for those things in taste. So good! I ordered a large pizza and a calzone, and with tip, it was $50. When you order over the phone, you still have to wait in the one line to get your order. In a world of quick service, it felt like an eternity, but I admit, I could stand to slow down a bit. The ingredients tasted very fresh, and I will certainly return for more- I just need to plan on it being a bit slower than most larger chains. It's worth it. I love the family feel in the restaurant. I have to say I am disappointed in myself so living in Tulsa as long as I have an NOT coming in here for the first time tonight. Like, I have been missing out for so long! OMG! So, this Tulsa classic is tucked away in a strip mall off 61st and Sheridan. It sits next to another well known breakfast spot. This area seems to foster amazing local food! ANYWAY........ When you come inside you see old family photos on the walls and it looks like a place your grandparents would have gone into when they were your age. It just has a homey feeling about it. You walk straight up to the counter and order your food. What's cool is just behind the nice person at the register, is a wide open kitchen. You can see all these folks working hard to make delicious quality food. The menu at first glance is a little confusing. I would recommend looking at the menu online and getting an idea of what they offer prior to coming in your first time. My wife and I got an order of cheese bread to start and then a medium pizza. half R.J. and half canadian bacon. The R.J is simple but dude the flavor! My tongue did a backflip of my duodenum after the first bit it was so good. I had heard this pizza was good but after trying it I may have to find a new religion! (Kidding I promise. It is that good though). I really enjoyed the feta cheese and olive oil for a base. We had red sauce to dip our cheese bread in and the half with canadian bacon had it as well. Wonderfully delectable! I really expected this to be more gresy considering and it wasn't bad at all! There was some grease with the cheese, but it was a 'good grease' because it's real food! We each had a baklava to cap off our meal and found it quite tasty! I'm excited to come back and try other pizzas and get a cabbage roll or some hummus. The family that owns this is from Lebanon from what I've gathered and they seem to serve quality food from their culture! I LOVE THAT SO MUCH! The food here was delicious. Cabbage rolls had a sauce that was like grandma cooked it. They were the best cabbage rolls I've tasted in a restaurant. The pizza had a good crust. Nice and crisp and plenty of toppings. Free refills on drinks is nice too. The downside was the time you had to wait to get your food. We should have had our cabbage rolls come out before the pizza because we waited around an hour if not hour 20 to get the food. The food was worth the wait but we were starving by the time we got it. I don't know if our order was lost in the rush, but we had to wait about 35-40 mins from the time of ordering. And waited in line for 15-20 mins just to place our order. But the pizza was very good. It was thinner crust, but not like a lot of thin crusts that are like crackers. The crust was very flavorful and toppings were substantial and fresh. Well, they don't really need my rating as they have a long solid reputation as one of the best in Tulsa, and for good reason. La Roma is top notch - no question about it. Why isn't it 5 stars? Well, it's 4.5 stars, but we don't get to post that. I'll get to that. It's a 5-star place, but that depends on your pizza preferences. Dine in or carry out. Very clean and super friendly staff/family that truly cares for its customers. We ordered an RJ (olive oil base, feta, onions, jalapeños) and a supreme (sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and black olives). Took about 25 minutes, which is really good for a pie of this quality. The pizzas just look delicious in the box... then you get into them. The supreme... put your hand underneath because this thing is LOADED with toppings and cheese. Every bite was a delight... and the veggies were just the way I like them on a pizza... a bit soft but not raw. My wife loved her RJ pizza, and she's a pizza nut. Personal preference- I could probably have my crust just a bit crispier, but that could be the generous toppings impacting the finished crust. And I do like a little more tang to my sauce. But this is still one of my top pizzas anywhere. It's not a budget pizza - but you do get quality and generosity for your money. Well worth the splurge if this is pricey for you. My son and I tried La Roma for the first time. We had heard good things about this family restaurant. We beat the dinner rush, and they were quite busy following us which shows they have a good following. It's a small, family run business. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. We tried their tomato basil soup, which very delicious. We also tried a medium veggie pizza, and it was very good as well. The crust was medium thickness, with plenty of veggies and mozzarella cheese. We hope to come back and try the Lebanese Mediterranean food next time.
