Our two pizza, both SOO good!
    Robert B.

Wow....so good we are there twice during our 6 nights in Lisboa. The pizza is thin Italian style with TONS of flavor. The kids had the Diavola pizza (kind of spicy) the wife and I had the Salame e Pepperoni pizza. Both were amazing. The second night we also split a Rocket salad (more than enough for two to split) and it too was superb. If you are looking for good pizza, this is the place! Note: we ate both nights early by Lisboa standards (1730-1800) and it was great for families. The neighborhood looks like it might "pick up" later on, and may lose its family friendly vibe.

    Mini pizza - 5€! Amazing!

This is the crust you fly to Europe for. Light, airy, crispy and chewy in the right ways.

Actually, in that same menu, a second thing that also seemed fairly unusual for bars in Lisbon, oddly: a bar that was doing something with ginja other than just serving it neat or in a chocolate shotglass (namely, a ginja spritz, also one of the drinks that's very cheap during happy hour, from 3-7 PM.) Obviously I tried one while I was here, and obviously, it was great. Was especially great for 5.5 euros. Ginja spritzes are bomb. Then I had an 8 euro happy hour "of the day", which that particular day, was a strawberry mojito - not as unique, but also, a great strawberry mojito. Finally, I did try one cocktail off their regular cocktail menu - I'm a huge sucker for Negroni variants, and this was one of the more fun takes I've seen, the Madeironi, of Campari, and both Madeira wine and an agricole rum, also from Madeira. I'd played with sherry at home a few times in Negronis, but hadn't ever tried Madeira - was truly exceptional. They even had the correct large cocktail ice cubes for it. Great service, too (admittedly, it was also basically empty, that presumably being why they had a happy hour, but I've been to empty bars that didn't have as good service, plenty of times.) This is a place I'd definitely come back to if I were back in Lisbon, both to try a couple more of their more locally-focused menu cocktails, and to drink several super-cheap spritzes. And probably try the pizza, too.)

It was super effective! We originally sat outside and the cool Portugal breeze was whipping in, they noticed and offered us a spot inside where it was a little warmer with out even being asked! Now on to the food! The bread and pesto they have as the starter is amazing! And that's just the beginning! Appetizers next, they continued to impress! The pizza was definitely fresh and light. I would 1000% recommend this place if you are visiting or a local, potentially make a reservation, this place clearly isn't a hidden gem anymore!

They had a great truffle tasting menu that I will definitely get next time. But overall, I ordered the homemade bread, the salad, and lasagna with the recommended white wine pairing.. All of the food was very flavorful and made with the fresh ingredients. Not only was the food great but service was good as well. I would highly recommend! I'd also recommend trying whatever specials they have with Sommelier wine pairings. I'll definitely be back!

Everything else was lackluster though. Our waiter went on and on describing how they make the appetizer bread, so we ordered some thinking it must be amazing or he wouldn't have spent so much time describing it. Unfortunately it was not very good. It had a slightly bitter, cardboard taste. We actually discussed how we wished we could have some of the Carrabba's bread and herb oil dipping sauce. My son and husband split a pizza that was good, but not mind-blowing. My daughter got a dish that was like pot roast. It was ok. While it wasn't a bad meal, aside from the bread, I don't plan to return.

Food quality was top notch. We got a shared plate of Mixed Grill and all the meat was fantastic. Ribs, lamb, prawns, steak were all incredibly juicy and flavorful. The broccoli puree was amazing! I think even those that don't like broccoli loved it. Salad was tasty and very green and fresh. Ambiance: Top notch. Very elegant, reminded me of a nice restaurant in Vegas with the large bar and dark, romantic decor. The chairs were also lush and comfortable. Staff: Very accommodating to American's and very friendly. He made wine recommendations that didn't break the bank, which I appreciated. While the price seems high for individual dishes, we found the shared plate to be incredibly affordable and perhaps the reason for so many groups. Location is also nice, I was really happy with our choice to come here.

The atmosphere seems very high end but the place is filled with couples, pals and families. Inside is very sophisticated and modern. The front door is pretty cool but tricky. My friend and I shared steak platter with beans and salad. The food was amazing and fresh. I usually don't eat red meat, but we both were super hungry and decided to share the platter with beer and more beer!!! I looked around the room and their pizzas also looked amazing. You can tell by that fresh pizza with bobbly cheese and meat that it will be a religious experience eating it. Most def coming back once I visit Lisbon again soon and try other delicious things on the manu.

Always enjoying city's on foot, we were talking about hunger and we walked right by the front of this great little restaurant. The staff were wonderful, outgoing and courteous, making us feel right at home as soon as we set foot in the understated but well decorated place. Our service was spot on with our salad arriving very quickly, our ice cold beer moment before, and our tap water in a little pitcher. Our ice request brought two big cubes in a separate glass, put in our glass with ice tongs. The ice was so cold it momentarily stuck to the tongs. Our shared Greek salad arrived as soon as our server went back into the kitchen looking wonderful and laden with very tasty firm feta. We had vinegar and oil on our table so we got to dress it ourselves, always our choice. It was plentiful and excellent. As we requested our margherita pizza came a minute after our salad was cleared, so our small table had plenty of room for our water, beer and food. The washrooms were clean and tidy as was the shared wash up area. All in all and excellent find that if we lived in Lisbon would be a go to place for a pretty darn good pizza!
