Excellent service, kind waitresses! 3 for food/service + 1 for fixing my poorly made margarita 5 Stars for their fresh JUICES! Must have, get their fresh juice. They make 5 or 6 fresh juices. Tamarind is amazing! So why only a 3: 1. Margarita: big failure. Ordered a lime margarita, it was frozen. Probably better on the rocks. But zero flavor for a lime margaritas. And almost zero alcohol. Im an expert, so I know a mixed drink. Well, they did turn it around for me, they begged me to make a replacement choice, thats rare. Most places just shrug their shoulders. Well they made it right! So thank you! I wish they would buy a good mix and a decent tequila. Its not hard to make a good cocktail. If they only have a wine license, they should make a good Sangria! $5 Sangria with different floaters for $2 or $3, or by the pitcher. Here is an idea for the owner:..use your fresh juice for cocktails. That pineapple + honduran rum or a vodka. Oh my! Its funny how thet make the perfect cocktail base, but dont use it for that. They make fresh blackberry juice I think, imagine that with wine! Omg. I hope they fix the cocktails! 2. Get a QR code menu that has english and spanish. We are gringos. So, we saw some english here or there on the menu, but they need to do an online menu with english plus photos! I think they have a lovely spot bit would be nice to see live music or a 2 piece band. I was wowed at the portion and fullness as this entrée had different layers of flavor starting from a cabbage slaw that seemed to be a palate cleanser as I ate along. On top of the cabbage was a layer of plantains. These plantains were drenched in the juices of the stewed chicken that sat on top. The pickled onions and crumbled cheese added more unique flavor. This layered entrée was delicious from start to end; I still have plenty of leftovers. The service was quick, and I could tell there was a language barrier, but I will still able to communicate with the hostess. The ambience of the place could use a little razzle dazzle, but I will be back to try something else. Niiice!

We were told to sit anywhere, which was fine, but then we ordered 2 waters and a passion fruit margarita and waited almost 30 minutes just to get them. On top of that, the drink order was wrong. She served us what tasted like salty mango juice -- and I say "juice" because there was absolutely no alcohol in it. Then we ordered a simple meal: a few chicken tacos, pork tacos, and an order of chicharrón. Somehow that still took 30-45 minutes, and the order was missing items when it finally arrived. That's crazy for an order of 4 chicken tacos and 4 pork tacos. The tacos honestly weren't even that good either. The only thing that was actually good was the chicharrón. People always say "good food takes time," and sure, that's understandable when a restaurant is busy. But this place wasn't even halfway full. There were plenty of open tables inside and outside, so the wait made no sense -- especially considering the food wasn't worth it.
