In our case, they "ran out" of some of the dishes so they couldn't cook it. Well, that's all right. We had tasted 2 different curries (with rice) and they were both very yummy-flavourful. It would have made for an idea setting except for the various parked working vans and buses blocking our view of the bay. You want small, intimate and family feeling? This is your place. It only had six tables with brightly colored chairs and a small bar area, it's truly perfect for the area to gather solo or with a small group. I immediately loved the vibe. It was a still considered a "holiday" here with CNY still going strong, so it was probably quiet for a Saturday afternoon/evening. Our sever immediately greeted us and allowed us to choose our table. We knew we wanted pizza before she even handed us the menu. We chose a white Sauvignon Blanc which was cool and refreshing to sip on as we waited for our pizza. Surprisingly, it was quite quick! Out came a crispy, thin crusted, meat covered pizza which we gazed at and then dove into. A "small" sized pie was 6 slices. And from the photo, you can see it was "large"enough for the two of us! Sausage, bacon, pepperoni and ? It was so delicious! Fresh herbs, cheese and sauce...I think I want another one! While the service wasn't anything to rave about. If you come to Mui Wo, bring an empty stomach and try this place out. You won't be disappointed! We'll definitely be hiking over more often to try out other stuff too!

The second, the menu has a lot on offer, and when I'm offered that much choice I revert to what I know is good... spicy minced-lamb. On occasion I've ordered a side of pita and hummus. For all you hummus lovers out there you know as well as I do how hard it is to get a worthy dollop of the stuff. Affordable food, but the alcohol is maybe a little pricier than I'm used to seeing in Hong Kong. I guess that's because Mui Wo beach has a lot of tourists. After living here for a week I only spotted it the other day. Needless to say I made it my duty to give it a try. I ask that you take this review with a pinch of salt. The day before visiting Nitaya's Kitchen I arrived back in Hong Kong from Phuket, Thailand. From the outside the place doesn't look like much. A small table holds a couple menus and a cheap looking banner shows images of their menu. All that being said I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. During lunch they have close to ten different lunch sets, meat and rice mainly, and none above $50 - my kind of place! Each meal comes with a drink, and as was my usual I ordered the Ice-lemon tea. To eat I went for a green curry while my lovely girlfriend chose the Pad Thai. The drinks arrived first, not at all what I was expecting. Perhaps it was my accent, or my poor cantonese but I was given something that looked and tasted like a combination between iced milk and lemon tea. Not great. But then the food arrived. The green curry was full of flavor, spicy and filling yet it was the pad thai that truly impressed, and like I said I just got back from Phuket! I tried, in vain, to convince my girlfriend that she really wanted the curry and really wanted to give me the pad thai. Luckily for me she said we could go 50/50. It's not that the green curry was bad, not at all, it's just that the pad thai was that good! It came with a generous helping of shrimps, which in most cheaper lunch sets restaurants usually tend to be stingy with, and the portion size was on the bigger side. I Sprinkled some peanut shavings and the pad thai was complete. I'm sure I'll be back at Nitaya's Thai Kitchen, and not only because of the prices!
