This food was really disappointing as we were told it was the best pizza ever. The pizza was soggy. The chicken was tasteless. The paninis tasted weird maybe moldy. The Caprese salad had the thinnest slices of tomato. Now let's talk delivery. It took 75 minutes when promised 50. Everything had been shaken up and squished. Spinach artichoke dip was a little runny in texture and white bread (really?) First - salad was so NOT fresh despite the picture and fresh certificate declaration! I had Large mix greens and 1/4 of leaves were all off colors. Not acceptable and complaint to the waiter but he just listened and took off. Second - IVA tax on this joint. WTH?! It's not even a high-end restaurant. Third - I get the tipping in good service but the attitude is so off in majority of Cancún eatery. It's such a deterrent at times. Be glad to tip 15/20% if service is good and pleasant attitude. It's a typical tourist spot with prices and quality. Located in the La Isla mall. The upside is it's the only restaurant that dared to venture beyond salad and 'veggie burrito, quesadilla, nachos for vegetarians in the area. So points for the that. I ordered the vegetable panini it was pretty inedible with hard unmelted cheese and over cook veggies. I did like the bread part/ perhaps just order this with herbs? Pretty decent place for a touristy mall. It's right by the harbor in el isla mall. Great location with shopping and food. We ordered two drinks, a BBQ chicken pizza, and a shrimp fettuccini. All were very good! Not five star good but very yummy. The setup is super cute with swing chairs at the bar and hand-drawn chalk boards all over. At one point in our Cancun vacation, we just wanted some pizza and ended up ordering delivery from here. Theydlivered well within their estimate time and even called us to make surewe got out order. But the called only minutes after their delivery person left so we couldn't confirm that we had it yet. The pizza was ok, but a little bland. Finally a place that didn't have greasy / tasteless food! You would think that places in Cancun would be delicious, but most of them just disappointed us. We decided to give La Pizzarra a chance and to our surprise, it was delicious. The quality of their food was way better in regards to flavor and freshness. They give you a couple pieces of fresh bread to start, and their salads are nutritious and filling. We also had an order of their ceviche, which came with octopus, shrimp, and fish. I didn't like Cancun because it's a glossy, fake and overly-Americanized place. It's got a beautiful beach though, thats for sure. With that said, this little pizzeria is targeted to the masses of American tourists nervous about other less American foods and less American feeling restaurants. If you're that person and you're looking for pizza, this is the place for you. We ended up here for our last real meal in Mexico (unfortunate) but we were killing time in Cancun until our flight. The pizza we had (barbecue chicken of some kind) was fine, but nothing special. Frozen dough and other non-fresh ingredients put together and thrown in the oven. They added some fresh avocado slices on top to make it "Mexican" and "fresh." The pizza was about on par with frozen California Pizza Kitchen pies that you can buy in the US. It's not as good as CPK from the actual restaurants and the menu certainly isn't as diverse as CPK. The best thing I tasted was the complimentary roasted garlic served with the bread. They cooked this garlic so it was spreadable like butter and incredibly delicious. The price was too high for what we got, but they do accept credit cards (with a bad exchange rate, of course). The service was fine, but the little "Italian" costumes were a little ridic. Random and uninteresting facts/quotes/stats/news headlines adorned the walls, and combined with Fox News on one TV, a hockey game in English on another and an IronMan movie in Spanish on a third TV, this restaurant was just all over the place. I wouldn't go back, but it was fine for what it was. If you read this review and find yourself scoffing at my cynicism, I hope you enjoy your pizza and shake your head at how disillusioned I am. read more

Well first I got a strawberry smoothie that was simple & great. After being intoxicated by the smell I was wondering about this place. Walking around and after eating Mexican for the past 6 days pizza sounded great. I ordered the spinach & artichokes added olives, the crustwas thin and there pizza was good. It could have had more toppings but it was still good. My little girl's cheese pizza did the trick, she ate it all. Service was on it and very nice. I would come back again. read more

Staff was very nice. I had the sausage and pepper pizza and my husband had the pepperoni pizza, we shared a bottle of wine and had cheesy garlic bread. Food was good, views were nice. Outstanding pizza, friendly service and a great location right on the water combined to make this my favorite dining experience during our recent trip to Cancun. It was so good that we went back twice during the week. Both times I ordered the Garlic Margherita pizza. It was so yummy! My mom (who is not usually a fan of pizza) also ordered the Garlic Margherita and thought it was delicious! My husband tried both the pepperoni and sausage. He thought the pepperoni was better, but liked both. There is fresh bread with olive oil served at the beginning of the meal. My one year old daughter who is just starting to try regular foods even liked it! The service was outstanding. On our second visit, Erick was our waiter and he spent lots of time interacting with our daughter and she loved it! Both times the manager stopped by to ask about our meal. It is obvious that customer service is important there! I would highly encourage anyone who likes pizza to check it out! They even deliver! read more

A very pleasant surprise - who would've thought that you could find really awesome pizza in Cancun? I liked it so much, I had some ordered in for my late arrival from an off-site excursion the following day! We even went back on our last day before we went to the airport, so it was quite clearly a hit for the whole family. I ordered the Pepperoni twice, and 1/2 and 1/2 on the last day, with Pepperoni on one half, Sausage and Peppers on the other. Members of my family also had the same pizza (Margherita) more than once. The staff was super nice, and very attentive each time too. Great location, right on the water in the La Isla shopping plaza across from the Westin. I think the only miss we had, is that they offered us some red wine as a sample, and none of us liked it - that's OK, we didn't have to pay for the sample, so no harm no foul. Had an early dinner and as soon as I sat down a stand for my bags was brought to me...nice touch! The waitress was delightful and efficient. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and it came with complimentary warm breadsticks w/ balsamic & oil and a whole roasted garlic bulb....garlic was less than room temperature, they really should serve it hot/warm. Gross there was a fly in the food and they took it out and then just brought the same food back and when we said we wanted to leave they up charged us on waters and then they had the audacity to try to bride us to stay with a 10% discount and then they tried to talk us out of leaving by saying it was our fault for the fly when it was in there when they gave us the food they were rude and gross and I would never go there because the fly was in the marinara the same marinara that they use in all the pizzas read more

Had dinner - May 2018. We Ordered a Pepperoni-pizza I also asked them to put extra pizza sauce on the pizza. My wife ordered a Mango Margarita 139 pesos ( almost no alcohol ) the pizza had almost no sauce my waiter brought me a little serving of pizza sauce that tasted like weak watered down Mexican catsup which they charged me an extra 12 pesos. This turned out to be one of our favorite restaurants while vacationing in Cancun. It is located in the La Isla Shopping Center, across the street from our hotel, the Westin Lagunamar. It faces the bay and the view is lovely. The service is outstanding! The food is excellent. I'm not a huge pizza fan, but their garlic margherita pizza was outstanding! My daughter ordered the same thing and agreed that this was really good pizza. My son-in-law had the pepperoni on one visit and sausage on the second visit. I also stopped by one afternoon while I was taking care of my granddaughter to order a pizza to be delivered to the hotel when my daughter and son-in-law returned from a tour to Chichen Itza. While waiting I enjoyed a margarita. It was a warm afternoon and the drink really hit the spot. Each time we visited, the manager came by to make sure everything was okay and visited with us for awhile. That is what I can really good customer service! All the waiters flirted with my granddaughter who is one and she flirted right back. She also enjoyed the bread they offer as an appetizer. This restaurant gets 5 stars. read more

Our family wanted Italian one night while visiting Cancun. Even though some people's reviews weren't the best we still decided to give it a try and are glad we did. The atmosphere was lovely sitting in an open air restaurant right on the water. Sunset was simply gorgeous. The food was delicious! Pleasantly surprised and pleased. Great tasting Pizza, right on the water. We stayed at the Westin so this was a short walk across the street. They have a swing bar which looked fun for the younger crowd. The restaurant featured open air seating, with comfortable chairs and love seats. Pretty nice menu with choices of pizza, antipasto, salads and pasta.
