    Chicken stuffed poblano

We went in for lunch. Arrived a little after noon, it was almost full. They were quick to seat us and give chips and salsa and drinks. Placed our order after that. They refilled the chips and salsa and drinks. We ended up waiting about an hour for the food to arrive, but it was worth the wait. I had the chicken stuffed poblano. It was delish. My coworker has shredded beef tacos and he said the beef has really good flavor and overall very good. We will be back!

We came on a Sunday at 1 p.m. It was busy our wait for a table was about 15 minutes for the 4 of us. Looks like we came during the lunch and after church rush. The waitress was visi ly annoyed when the party behind us said there would be 8 of them. Her expression said it all. Our server was good, he was very busy so not as attentive. Our food tasted good but was cold by the time it got to us which was disappointing especially when the plate is $16. Also got the Pineapple infused Margaritas and it was strong which was pleasant. The prices were suprisingly in the higher side for the restaurant being in the middle of nowhere. The aesthetic was true to a Mexican style restaurant. I would come back but definitely on a weekday so we don't get the anxiety that the servers have of being rushed.

Vegans stop here. Veganized the California Burrito & Taco Salad, was tasty and fresh. Beans no lard, yum. Salsa and chips were also super good and fresh. Service was great, friendly, and fast. Definitely loved the vibe here, good music playlist too. I would say ask for rice and both beans in the Taco Salad and extra beans in the burrito to bulk it up a bit. So happy we took the chance since there weren't many veggies reviews here and didn't take the easy route by stopping at Taco Bell.

This was a very very pleasant surprise! I travel a lot for work and this showed up as being a part of the "salsa trail" contest winners so since my last experience in Safford for food was not good I decided to give this a try. It was really solid Mexican food! I had the green chili chimi and the person with me had tacos and we both finished out plates! I had mine smothered in enchilada sauce and it was amazing! The salsa was super flavorful. The place was quirky and fun and the menu is quite extensive. This will be a repeat place each time I have to go to Safford. Rice is good, refried beans were good, wishing I had got to try a margarita but I was "on the clock." So next time! They were packed for lunch but food still came out really quickly. This place looks bleh from the outside and is in a weird residential area but so worth it! Don't judge it by outside!

The food here is so bland. It's like no one knows how to season food properly. Their chips and salsa are the best I've had here in Safford.

The chicken bacon ranch wasn't bad, but I wasn't really blown away by it either. The pasta salad needs to be called "olive salad". There's so many olives in it, so so many! The cookie was the best part, not sure if they make them or get them from somewhere. Wish I knew where so I can order a ton of them! The Red Bull syrup wasn't bad I guess. I just wanted the Red Bull and decided to try the syrup flavor added. The young lady taking the order was very polite and patient. Nothing really caught my eye. Cool store inside though. Glad I tried it

Comparing to other places, it doesn't hit the spot as well; however it definitely fulfilled my cravings. Ordered a three meat combo, which comes with three different meats from their selection of five with a side of rice and macaroni salad. I got the chicken katsu, bulgogi beef, and Kalua pork. Mixed reviews with the different meats. The chicken katsu was fine, although it felt a little bit dry. The bulgogi beef for whatever reason was kind of a miss; the portion I received was pretty burnt and dry, sometimes I felt like I was just eating charcoal really rather than actual beef. However I really loved the Kalua pork, it was nice, tender, and flavorful. The house teriyaki sauce also complimented the meats pretty well. For the price you pay, I would say it's definitely worth it; the amount of food itself is more than enough for one meal (could even stretch it to 2 meals for those with smaller appetites). Overall, it's good for what you get out here in a more remote town. However, don't have super high expectations when you plan on getting Hawaiian food out here, otherwise you may feel disappointed. Service was really great, they prepared the food pretty quickly within 5-10 minutes of my order. I got take out, however there is plenty seating if you wanted to dine in.

The chicken katsu was crispy and was served with rice and macaroni salad. The smoothie was filling and delicious. My colleague enjoyed his fish and chips ($8.99) and sweet tea ($1.85). They have a drive-through and are quite popular among the younger high school and college crowd. Parking was adequate. Total bill was about $30 before tax and the 3% credit card processing fee. Happy to return.
