My husband and I loved working with Olivia! We initially reached out to her to acquire her services for our wedding. Olivia sent over her extensive catalog and set up a Zoom call. We absolutely loved that she had a full catalog built out with photos and pricing. This allowed for full transparency and no unexpected surprises. During our initial call, she pulled up an itemized spreadsheet to track all of our selections which included centerpieces (flowers, eucalyptus leaves & floating candles), a floral arrangement for the mantel, florals for the sweetheart table, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and much more. We had also been looking on Etsy for our signage items. Come to find out, Olivia does that as well! First let's just start by saying that Olivia is an artist. She knows her way with flowers, greens, and everything in between. She offers a range of decor items but I have to say that her way with florals is magical. We met Olivia through a friend who also used her for their wedding. They had a tight budget and so did we! I had already known she did great work for our friends so we had no hesitation when it came to our relationship. Our friends had wanted a large floral arch but their budget couldn't support both an arch as well as florals throughout the venue so after the ceremony was over, Olivia repurposed all of the flower from the arch throughout the wedding! For us, our budget was even smaller (and we were working with post-COVID increased floral rates) and all we wanted were just some florals/greenery on the tables. We didn't think we could afford anything more and to make things easy, I just gave her a color palette to work with and asked her to put together whatever she wanted/could that would work with our venue and budget. When our day came - Olivia did not only deliver what we asked for but she went above and beyond. She had florals for the tables, around the venue, ourselves, AND she was only supposed to drop off and set up the flowers but she stayed longer to set extra flowers at everyones place settings to make each guest s experience even more special. Without her, our wedding would not have felt as ethereal as it did, and for that we are grateful. Bottom line: Olivia is talented. She was very communicative and organized throughout the planning process, and her product catalog and itemized excel sheet made it so easy to plan within a budget. My husband and I had Olivia as our wedding day-of coordinator and she went above and beyond. She has a great sense of style and a lot of experience and knowledge. We appreciated that she was gentle but also honest and realistic. She saw and suggested things we hadn't thought of and handled some crises calmly and expertly. For one, our officiant and friend had to drop out of our wedding just two days before the wedding because she was exposed to COVID. My husband and I panicked and thought we could self-officiate and read our joint vow, but Olivia told us that it would be better if we had the DJ make simple announcements (e.g. the order of events during the ceremony) and that we read letters to each other to fill the time before the joint vow. We scrambled to write the letters but they turned out really well and many people at the wedding said they loved that part. In fact everyone told us they loved how the ceremony was structured. Olivia had also printed out letters and put them in pretty cards so they look nice in the photos. I'm really glad she was there to help us through this. We were also super impressed to find out that Olivia is a sommelier. She suggested affordable wines to serve during each course of the day, and they were all amazing. My mother is not a licensed sommelier but is a connoisseur, and she liked everything. That meant a lot to me! Olivia is also a florist. We had hired another great florist who had worked at our venue (Gardens at Heather Farm) and came with a strong recommendation from an acquaintance who got married there, but we have 0 doubt that Olivia would have done a fantastic job. In fact, I think that it having Olivia do both planning and floral services could be extremely helpful, since it is one fewer vendor for the couple to communicate with. Finally, of course, Olivia made sure that every detail of our wedding day was executed smoothly and on time. Olivia worked with us through 2 postponements during the pandemic and has been nothing but understanding and generous. She also speaks both Korean and English so I really appreciated that she could talk to my family members in Korean; it was important to me that my Korean family is kept in the loop throughout the day and not feel excluded. Olivia is fantastic to work with. I gave her a few photos of the color palate I we envisioned and the bouquets and boutonnieres came out looking so good. We went with the garden style and it was just perfect. The bouquets felt like they were just plucked from the garden. We hired Olivia to do our florals, then as the wedding date crept closer also hired her as our month-of coordinator. As the coordinator, she did a great job putting together a timeline with our input, helped us find last-minute rentals for water glasses and linens, and ensured we knew what to tell/get from each of the other vendors. One vendor we never even spoke to beyond hiring them; after that, Olivia coordinated their set-up and tear down and it was invisible to us. Olivia listened to our ideas and offered advice and opinions where needed, but it never felt pushy. I really felt like she had our best interests in mind, and helped us make the wedding we were looking for. For florals - Olivia had lots of input for my wife re: color pallet and the seasonality of certain flowers. It was really impressive see my wife make a Pinterest board, Olivia reviewed it with us, and after some back-and-forth about colors and quantity of florals, we were set. She clearly is experienced and knows how to put together a wedding. The florals all came out beautifully, and she even tailored the color palate for categories of florals (centerpieces, bouquets, our Chuppah) in order to match the different venue spaces and attire. She was also very respectful of our budget, her prices felt very fair, and she always had options for us to save on areas when we needed to. I've been following Olivia's florals on Instagram for weeks before choosing her and with her knowledge and talent, I decided to just trust her and boy, did she surprise me! Hiring Olivia was one of the best decisions I made for a number of reasons! First of all, she is true artist who can do it all, from the most modest to the most extravagant weddings - just take a look at her impressively extensive website! I told her I was on a tight budget but was still hoping for the elegant, high quality look that she creates, and she really worked with me to stay within my budget and was always so kind about it even though I know she also does a lot of higher end gigs! She was reliable with her communication and I always felt confident that she would deliver with beautiful arrangements and professionalism, but she really outdid herself on the actual day! Not only did she deliver much more than I expected with extra floral touches she added, she literally saved the day when my aunt forgot to pack her traditional Korean outfit's skirt! We had it overnighted and it still didn't show up on time, but thank God Olivia was my florist because she actually had han boks to rent and rented us a skirt for such an affordable price! She apparently does wedding planning services as well, which I didn't know until after the fact, but I bet she's be great at that, too. I've contacted many vendors prior to finding Olivia and was shocked by the quoted price. At comparatively low price, Olivia is not only a professional florist, but she also has great eyes and vision for all the details that goes into the wedding. I've communicated with her multiple times before the wedding and she responded to my requests right away. I had to change the plan of having flower petal at my ceremony after finding out the vendor policy only couple of weeks before the wedding but she was very flexible and offered different ideas, including flower decorations on chairs as shown in the picture. Some of the pictures I've received and attached in this review speak for themselves. I loved all the flower decorations and bouquets she made and I was surprised by how much mass flowers she used to create them! She also offered to bring candle holders and candles at affordable prices.
