I wish that I could give her 10 stars. Sharla is truly amazing! She is an real artist! I don't know where did she find those beautiful but rare flowers and leaves. Some of them I don't even remember that I had ever seen them or heard of them before. My wedding was in October, so I asked her to add some fruits which will be available in season. She put these black mission figs and seedless grapes in the center pieces(Purple is the theme color for my wedding). They are not only good-looking but also delicious, every single one was ripe and sweet! My guests really enjoy them. Thanks, Sharla! You made my wedding so "Yummy"! For the ceremony, we love all of her arrangements. My husband was impressed by how beautiful and tasteful the altar arrangements are that he kept on asking me to make sure that the photographer get enough photos of them. Our guests seemed also enjoy the flowers that they brought pew markers with them after the ceremony, so we don't even have to clean them up. I think Sharla also sprayed a special perfume on the flowers(smells like wood and grass), which is quite refreshing. I love those little details she added. Sharla is wonderful. She did our wedding a little more than a week ago. She was there for us every step of the way. She is a brilliant artist who is incredibly responsive to everything. Not just the fastest response but also entirely accurate responses. Initially I wondered if my ideas were too soft, girlie (e.g., pink) and not earthy enough to mesh with Sharla's designs. Now, I feel sheepish even writing that. I am an idiot for having any thoughts of the sort. We told Sharla our floral vision and she immediately pulled samples and created a perfect mock up. It was unbelievable. I felt like I hired a florist and a mind reader (among other things - Sharla was also instrumental in overall design elements of the ceremony and reception spaces). Everything she did was 100% responsive to our desires. Desires that I could not articulate and could have never realized without her. I am entirely uncreative and was no help other than sort of pointing and grunting at pictures, yet she was able to take my Neanderthal "ideas" - I use the term loosely - and turn them into grace, elegance, charm and beauty. It was clear that what was important to Sharla was whatever was important to me. She can (and will) do anything. Sharla's talent is limitless. I will be forever grateful to her for making our wedding dreams come to life. Sharla's personality was also a treat. She made us feel comfortable and always at ease. WOW!!!!!!! I have to be honest, in planning a wedding flowers were the least of my worries. My mother in law and I met with Sharla a While back to discuss flowers and linens for my wedding. I thought she was awesome because my family had almost talked me into using pink or something girly for the linens. I've always been dead set on black and white but they felt because it was a wedding it should be more 'girly'. Sharla could not have read me better!! When I told her about this she said "You know, when I look at you I don't see pink". She suggested a nice pewter for the table cloths and got my mother in law totally on board. We discussed flowers, I knew I didn't want red and i had seen some dark colored arrangements online that I liked. We decided on eggplant calla lillies with little white flowers to accent it and feathers mixed in. I had a feeling it would all be pretty cool but did not know what to expect. What I got was the most beautiful, amazing, creative, edgy, unique bouquet I have ever seen. I almost tear up just thinking of how amazing it was. My bridesmaids had similar arrangements but a bit lighter to accent their black dresses. Even my Husband (still so fun to say haha) thought his boutonniere was really cool!! Says a lot when a guy notices how amazing the flowers are. Every one at my wedding was completely FREAKING out over how cool my bouquet was.....even my dad was impressed (trust me that is a feat!). Today at the day after out of towner brunch people were still bringing it up and wanting to see it again. Sharla did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. First off, Sharla is incredibly responsive. She got back to all emails quickly and we were able to set up a phone consultation and then an in person meeting shortly after making contact. We were nervous about the wedding flowers. The venue mentioned that bright flowers like yellow and orange tended to work best. I was concerned my flowers would look like a circus. We took our concerns to Sharla who had many great suggestions on how to blend in some wines and use hues of yellow and orange that were exquisite. We trusted her on the colors without going into too much detail on the exact flowers. When we got to the venue, we were in awe. The flowers were gorgeous! We also had Sharla do a chuppah. The cloth was beautiful as were the flowers. Another nice surprise was the size of the flowers. They were substantial. Lastly, Sharla's staff was great. I got married in Sonoma in May 2016 and left all of my florals and wedding decor, including our ceremony space up to Sharla. She delivered everything impeccably. I considered myself to be a pretty laid back bride and simply provided Sharla with a photo of our place setting and some ideas of how I wanted to the flowers to look on the tables and she took care of the rest. I work in health care, (odd hours day and night) and I actually never met Sharla in person until my wedding day. I was so grateful that from the moment we first spoke she answered all my emails and phone calls promptly and I could tell I was in good hands with her. I am super into all the lovely metallics that everywhere right now and Sharla delivered all of that and more- I'm talking all the votives, vases, candles whatever... I even had a very last minute request for a vintage rug (kinda boho in style) for our altar space and Sharla found one and made it look beautiful. Sharla thought of things that I hadn't even considered and turned our event space into something beautiful. She even worked with my dressmaker to incorporate some of the gold leather details I had on my headpiece and shoes into my bouquet- like she communicated with my dressmaker directly and picked up the accessories! I didn't have to worry about a thing! Working with Sharla was honestly the most relaxing part about wedding planning because I told her that I was busy with work, suffering from 'wedding decision fatigue', had a gold place setting and wanted a vintage rug.
