This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Cd. Juarez. The newer location is nice, but nothing beats the original location, across the plaza from the Cathedral. Word has it that this location used to be the central bus station, hence the name. The place is huge, but don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. You'll be immediately greeted by a huge display case of pan dulces - the conchas are worth a try (or two). They also serve fresh-squeezed OJ, but you'll see everyone with café con leche in the tall, transparent plastic glasses. It's a good start to the day. The menu is huge - try to mole enchiladas, if you're a mole fan, perhaps with a fried egg on top. I usually go with the eggs - scrambled with bacon or chorizo, rancheros or divorciados. They are all great, and such a good deal! I have always been curious to try the Chinese food, but have not done so yet. It looks good, though. If you're down in central Juarez, you gotta try this place!

Okay, I do not say this lightly. But I may just have had the best tacos I've ever had in my life! I…read morewas looking around for a taco place in El Paso and this one popped up. Had multiple thousand Google reviews and they were all close to five stars. So I knew I had to check it out. It was super close to my hotel, so I popped in the car and found it without trouble. Trouble. Again, there is pretty limited parking so it's kind of hit and miss whether you'll find a spot or not. Fortunately, I did. When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!

The atmosphere is modern, fun, and welcoming -- perfect for a date night, brunch with friends, or just treating yourself to amazing food and cocktails. I honestly love it here. Every visit has been a great experience with flavorful food, refreshing drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The tacos are simply AMAZING and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Definitely one of El Paso's must-visit taco spots!

Amazingly good flautas for an incredibly reasonable price. (They have other dishes too, but that's…read morewhat they are known for!) Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!

I learned about this place in university when I lived at the apartments behind the establishment and I had friends who worked at the bar. Initially the bar is where I spent my time, but eventually I started coming here just for the food. It's kind of a greasy spoon, but it is so delicious! The family serves typical TexMex dishes. I did a combination plate so that I could sample a little bit of everything: enchilada, taco, chile rellano, and tamale. Plus, beans, rice, and fresh tortillas are served with the plate. I got iced tea to wash it all down. The tables and chairs are old school items that you might find in a breakfast diner back in the 50s. Nothing pretty, but very practical. There isn't a lot of space, so you might find yourself taking your order to go or asking someone if you can join them at their table if they have room. There are often families with their kids getting food here. The parking lot is often packed because people come here to watch the game and grab a drink with friends. The driveway is narrow entering on one side and exiting on the other side. Although it is not clear which is which. Turning off and on to Mesa Blvd is fast paced, so just do the best you can. Your car might get dinged here. Leave the Maserati at home. Definitely my favorite restaurant in El Paso.

Or the 5 star cocktail bar it's attached too. It's a hidden gem. Everything on the menu is à la carte. But a must order is the Tacos Antonia.
