I had such a great experience at La Nail Salon. My care was super good. There is lots of parking in the shopping center lot- it is anchored by a Home Depot. The owner came over and spoke to me. She even called her husband to come meet me which was an honor. I felt like old friends when we left. My wife had jell nails that were beautiful! This is a very spacious comfortable salon done in Greta and white. I loved every moment in here. The pedicure I had was $38. I want to come back as soon as I return to Lafayette Indiana. read more

Very unprofessional. I told them the specific colors I want and said I could do it in gel or dip. She says it's not in gel so I tell her dip is fine. She then goes and grabs two random gel colors that I didn't ask for and started my nails. Also didn't listen to the shape I wanted then lied to my face when I asked why the color wasn't what I picked claiming you can't get dip color on fake nails even though the display color was done on a fake plastic nail. Then proceeded to overcharge me 10 dollars when I paid. Pathetic business they will do whatever they want and not listen to your simple request. Do not get scammed by them. read more

Worst business owner EVER!! The owner told me I have to pay her and do it her way, as she's screaming and yelling at me because I requested not using a drill. Never had a problem with the request anywhere else and I get my nails done all over the country, (I travel for work). I seriously was getting nervous as she continued to scream and yell as I said I don't understand the what the big deal is with my request. I had to leave abruptly because I was being treated so bad. I refuse to pay for the pedicure after being in that place feeling so uncomfortable to begin with. I gave her my name and number and said here's my contact information if you'd like to talk to me in a normal manner. She proceeded to follow me out to my truck and took a picture of my plates screaming "you come to my business, you do it my way". No problem, scary business owner, I called the police myself. I went to this place tonight to get a set of nails done with gel top polish for my confirmation at church tomorrow. I got medium length coffin nails with sliver glitter and one accent nail on each hand with a white flower. Job was very well done. Not very long wait. Lady was kind and obviously good at her job. None of the nails were misshapen, the Lady I was with did a quick and beautiful accent nail. Only compliant is a small extra tad of acrylic on my right thumb nail, but I easily filed that down at home with no problem. Looking at other reviews, this place can vary in quality, but I can tell this place does best with fingernails. Very clean also, good for those still worried about everything right now. He took so much nail off that I had ridges underneath when I soaked the dip polish off 3 weeks later. Every single nail broke or split because the top layers were just destroyed. I went In for a fill Tuesday lady was rude not careful when I had a cat scratch on my finger hit the side of my finger to the point it was bleeding!! While this was not the worst place I have been it is definitely close. I had the lady in the second chair, I had asked for tips to be put on and dip powder over the top. I had to tell her 3 times to cut them down more and that they were uneven. She did cut them down but they are still very uneven. for $60 I expect better. Was probably the worst experience of any nail salon that my wife or I have ever been to. When entering, we were greeted by Maria, who is either the manager or the owner. Maria informed my wife that even though my wife's nails are Acrylic, they do not do acrylic. She opted for the powder and asked for a pedicure and a manicure. She picked out a color for both, same color mind you, and sat down for the pedicure. During the pedicure she was cut repeatedly, and was bleeding. After the pedicure, she had the manicure done. When she was done with both, She noticed that the color for the nails was completely different than the color for the toenails. Maria told her it was all her fault for picking the color. My wife was dissatisfied, but informed Maria that she would be willing to stay and have her nails redone. Maria said she would have to wait due to how many customers were already in the shop. My wife said she wasn't going to pay for a poor job, Maria started explaining that she has a husband who is a police officer, that this never happens in her shop, and then began to accuse my wife of racism (my wife is Korean). I stepped in, asked how much was it... I was told $97, which is very expensive for a manicure pedicure. I could not argue the dollar point as there were no menus of how much each service that they offered cost. My wife has decided never to go back there, not even to get the issue fixed. As far as I am concerned, the ladies of Lafayette Indiana, and all of Tippecanoe County would be much better served by going somewhere else or doing their own nails. As a businessman myself, I found Maria to be rude, appalling, and truly repugnant. How this LA Nails stays in business I am at a loss to understand. read more

Well... I didn't appreciate coming in and being lied to about the wait time. I signed into the salon at 3:30. Told me 20 minutes for the wait. After 45 minutes, a lady decided she was going to take the polish off my acrylics and told me someone would be with me shortly. After the lady took the polish off of my nails, she grabbed her belongings and decided to tell everyone goodbye and proceeded to leave. THEN have me sit for another HOUR & 15 minutes; which kind of locked me into their service without being able to leave. Didn't offer me any apology or type of discount, regardless if it was a miscommunication or not! Be more attentive to the ones that're supporting your business. I got my nails done here about a week ago. I had multiple friends recommend Maria and not have anyone else do them, so I called a couple days in advance to make an appointment with her. When I arrived she wasn't there so someone else had to do my nails. The man that did my nails didn't clean any of his tools and was extremely impatient. He kept telling me that it would take a couple minutes for my previous dip to soak off in acetone but then would remove the foil and cotton after like 30 seconds and start filing my nails. He repeated that at least 3 times on my right hand. He proceeded to quickly dip all of my finger nails in my right hand while my left was still soaking in acetone for about 8-9 minutes. After he applied a top coat to my nails he took on another client and after filing down her nails with the same tools he used on me he touched my nails and got acrylic powder all over them. He had to buff off the top coat he put on because it was still very sticky and now covered in powder. He eventually applied a different top coat and allowed my nails to fully dry before touching them. This service cost me $50, but in my opinion it should have been $25-30. The service wasn't great and every single nail has now cracked because of the un even layers of the dip. I now understand why my friends only recommended Maria. Save you money. Find some where else to go. The salon is dirty and they don't sanitize their tools nor do they tell you the price before your service. read more

I came back, it was great having Diana do my nails again, but this time they charged me$73 for the same mani/pedi(the$28 pedi) I had in March. Last time it was$5 for gel polish, this time they charged$15! A friend that was w me had a $45 pedi and a regular mani w gel nails and she paid$75! So they're over charging , and not charging correctly for the services. My daughter had the same$28 pedi, and fake nails w decorations and it was$101! They use the same nail files and tools on ea customer without sterilizing em. We also had made a reservation for tnt(3wks ago) and they didn't have it in the books, so we waited an hour to have 1 of us started on. Very dissatisfied. We won't be back. read more

Overall, great place to get your nails done. I got my nails done 2 weeks ago. I work in a factory and the nails held up until this morning. I only got a fill with gel color.
