We found this restaurant on our first night in Paris, visiting from the States…read more Not only did the restaurant have great reviews, but they hand pull the noodles in the front of the restaurant. It's a small restaurant in Montparnasse, and we fortunately were able to walk right in for an early dinner. They had to pull a table back so we could scoot into a corner booth. The menu is extensive and includes wontons (raviolis), soups, and noodle dishes. Everything looked amazing and the restaurant smelled so good. We ordered the wontons as an appetizer, soup Lamen with beef, soup with shrimp dumplings, lamen with pork and Lamen with beef. We only waited about 8 minutes and steaming hot food was placed in front of us. Our entrees made it out before our appetizer but we didn't mind. Portions were very large and the noodles were chewy, fresh and delicious. We loved every item we ordered. We came back later in the trip to order takeout since the line for tables was so long. If you're in Paris, this is a must try!

The noodle texture was amazing. Got Beef Noodle Soup and Sichuan Fish Lamen Soup - both were incredible! Really generous portions with deep, flavorful broth that had the perfect amount of spice. Everything balanced perfectly with those fresh noodles. Service was quick too. Definitely worth checking out.

Was craving asian food during our last night in Paris. So glad my girlfriend found this place and…read moreso glad we decided to stay here to eat knowing that it looked all fancy and we didn't looked dress for the place. Happy hour was about to end in 5 minutes so we ordered 7 Hennessy side cars lol the waiter was in shocked but was happy to get us our drinks just in time before it was over. Btw our waiters name was Anton and he was great! The drink was delicious and strong so it was perfect for dinner. What we ordered was the dim sum sampler, side of shrimp fried rice, I think it was green curry noodles, the noodles with salmon, shrimp and duck egg rolls, the vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg rolls and the goose entree. Boy was everything so good or maybe I was just hungry lol but really the food was good. My favorite dishes was the noodles with salmon, the vermicelli and the goose. Wow I never thought I would have goose but it was really good. Reminded me of steak in a way with a good seat on the outside and tender in the middle. The noodles were good too and good size salmon pieces and was cooked perfectly. And the vermicelli was good too and the nuoc mam wasn't too sweet or salty. At the end they give you a shot if lychee which was sweet and the customer service was superb!

We each had 3 drinks that was bomb as heck (amazing lol) After our third drink we were able to move to a table. Started off with squid and shrimp fritters that were tasty as heck and for my main I had a curry noodle dish yummm. Afterwards, as we were leaving we realized there was a live band downstairs where you could have also sat and ate. Bummer wish we knew... apparently they sometimes have live concerts, saw a poster from Kendrick Lamar's previous show there#wishiwasthere. we went on down for a bit and had another drink but honestly i was tipsy and needed to catch a uber pronto lol those drinks were strong af. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Great ambience, friendly staff, it's inexpensive and the drinks and food is bomb

The best Chinese food I've found so far in Paris is at Etoile D'Asie, in the 15th, on Daguerre,…read morewhich is a pedestrian street lined with vendors of produce, meat, seafood, pastries, and restaurants. The display counter offers about 50 choices (I am not kidding), ranging from dim sum to entrées, sides of noodles and rice or vegetables, and desserts. It's a bit of an overwhelming choice, but it's a fun problem :) Service is efficient and smiling, even extending to patient as people invariably linger trying to decide what to choose, no one ever rushes you or scowls. The place is filled with local regulars and a few random tourists who wander over from the catacombs nearby; keep in mind this Chinese restaurant keeps French hours, so it closes in the mid afternoon between lunch and dinner hours. Everything is incredibly fresh, with popular dishes coming out from the kitchen to replenish the sold out ones, and with a brisk take out business, the line moved quickly. Everyone orders and pays; if you are eating in, go sit down as you wait for your order to be brought to you, otherwise you wait by the register for take out. Menus start from about 6 to 15 Euros, or you can simply get dishes by weight. I chose three shrimp dimsum, which were light and tender, although I found the har gow dough a bit thick. I got a side of vegetables instead of rice, and doctored it with the sriracha and soy sauce on every table (I was ecstatic to find sriracha bottles on every table in Paris). For my main course I got 300 grams of the spicy shrimp, which were actually a bit spicy! For future reference I will get 150 grams since I had a hard time finishing this portion after the dim sum and the vegetables. Another day, another choice, this time I chose garlic chicken with a glass noodle side, both of which were wonderfully done and not a bit greasy. I liked this place so much I went back for yet another meal, this time the sauteed beef with peppers (not the spicy kind), vegetables, and plain rice. Etoile D'Asie means "star of Asia", and this place gets a gold star for Chinese food.

Little Chinese / Asian restaurant where I took away my diner last week…read more Food was really good, almost as tasty as what I used to eat in China, so that's a good point. They have a large choice of meals, from noodles, vegetables, rice, meat, dim sum, spring rolls, deserts, and so forth. Take whatever you want, I am sure you will not be disappointed! Service was nice, I mean, the waitress was nice (I took away so there was not really any service). Maybe I'll go there one more time and eat inside, so I can see how the mood is. Finally, this restaurant is good for value, not too expensive, which is a good thing for people like me who like to eat a lot! For 16€, I had a huuuge meal that could have fed two people.
