Nice interior with a patio for outdoor seatings I tried the grilled redfish with mash potato's and green beans. It was topped with shrimp and crawfish. My only criticism was it had only 2 shrimp. Aside from that it was cooked well and tasted great. We also tried the bean, rice sausage cup and that was tasty! Last we tried the cheeseburger since my partner doesn't like seafood. Had two juicy patties and came with a side of seasoned fries. They have a range of seafood items from grilled to fried and daily specials. Limited non seafood options but it's a seafood restaurant. To top it all off; can't give enough kudos to our young server, Sam! Sam was on point the entire visit. He helped answer questions, described plates and helped with selection and was attentive. He was polite and charismatic the entire time. Even if the food is great, bad service can break the experience and Sam did amazing. Thank you Sam for making my evening!

On this visit, I had the rainbow trout, and it was absolutely amazing. You could tell it was fresh right away--perfectly seasoned, nicely seared, and flaky without being dry. It came with green beans and roasted potatoes, plus a flavorful sauce that complemented everything really well. We also ordered the fish and chips, which were just as impressive--crispy, golden, and light, not greasy at all. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. The service really stood out too. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without hovering--exactly what you want when dining out. Overall, Fish City Grille continues to deliver: fresh seafood, consistent quality, and great service. That's why we keep coming back. Highly recommend.

I always order it as spicy as they'll possibly make it because if you're not questioning your life choices halfway through the bag, are you even eating crawfish correctly? My family and I went not too long ago for my birthday and it was honestly the perfect place to celebrate. The spice level had my nose running, my eyes watering, and me still going back for more like I had something to prove. On top of the amazing food, the restaurant itself was super clean and the lighting and decorations are always fun to look at. It's one of those places where the atmosphere just makes you feel comfortable and ready to hang out for a while. Our server was incredibly sweet and made sure everyone at the table was taken care of the whole time. She checked on us often, kept the good vibes going, and made the experience even better. Overall, amazing food, great service, and a fun environment. I would absolutely come back again and again... probably with a roll of paper towels and a warning to anyone sitting next to me about the spice level.

When I received my order, it was completely wrong but it was rectified right away. As far as the ambiance, I think it's very clean and laid back. I enjoyed watching the Spurs game while I ate. Now let's get into the food... I'll start off with the bad: Seafood Boils: I believe the crawfish weren't washed well enough. They had a distinct smell and lots of poop. I've never had them like this and I've eaten crawfish in a lot of places and different cities. The "queen crab leg" was good and a nice size. And the potatoes and andouille sausage were good along with the eggs. Overall I think they could improve the actual water and seasoning in which the seafood is cooked in. The sauce was okay but also lacked some flavor. Needless to say, I will not be returning for any boils but maybe try other items on the menu. Boudin Balls: 5/5 - full of flavor and it was fresh! Fried Pickles: 5/5 - the best I've had. Delicious! All of this came out to $182 including the tip. I think they are a bit overpriced and charge for every little thing like taking the head off the shrimp lol.

It is a huge restaurant it felt very welcoming and within the theme of seafood with all the designs and crabs hanging on the walls... very decorative and festive. We were seated and the waitress had to be flagged down to come talk to us. She is nice also almost clueless. Till the point drinks came out and had to flag her down again for straws... we ordered the edamame and tried explaining the sauce used in the edamame is more concentrated than the boil itself... similar to Surfing crab and we would like to keep the sauce to add it to the boil. She went bringing a drinking cup? To save the sauce... ok? No problem... we ordered and I explained to her that we want an extra pound of crawfish added to the combo deal which happened... same no problem. The crab is old! It looks like it has been reboiled till the point the meat shrink... you crack it open... meat non existent... waste of money! Still no problem. This is the joy of testing new restaurants... it is not always a bingo. We finished and paid. I trusted and didn't even look at the details of the bill. Today I decided to look at my statement. I realized I am over charged. I did the calculations and yes I am overcharged... for a moment we were excited same menu as surfing crab and a bit cheaper prices. I guess they make it up somehow. Now it is either eat up the cost or sit on the phone with them to review the bill This is a lesson learned to keep the receipt and look at it in details before you pay! I am sure it was a mistake her maybe putting in the order as separate items instead of the combo adding the one pound of crawfish. Needless to say I don't think it is a customer problem... they need to be more attentive. I don't think I will ever go back

I called my order in 20 minutes ahead of time, only to be met with a long line and a restaurant full of people. After waiting in line, as others were placing orders, they finally rang me up for my food and informed me my food was "ready," and they were "bagging it up." There was no place to sit, so I decided to remain standing at the counter, because I was told my order was ready. Nevertheless, another 20 minutes passed while standing at the counter. As a disabled Veteran, this was extremely painful for me, and again there was nowhere to sit down. The two females at the register continued to take orders and hand out food as if I wasn't there... Finally, I stopped one of the ladies and reminded her that she told me my food was "ready." What could possibly be the hold up, I thought to myself. After she shuffled around and asked the cooks in the back about my order, they told her that they had already sent my order out to the front... SMH.. This whole time I had been standing in line, hurting, my food had been abandoned on the counter and without anyone's knowledge, supposedly. The lady explained that the wrong ticket was placed on top of my food, and that's the reason she didn't know that it was my order. She apologized and also blamed on the manager who took my order over the phone. The food had been sitting right next to her register too.... just sitting there. I absolutely do not understand why she didn't follow up with my order, once she was told it was "ready" and saw me standing there all that time. I wonder if I hadn't said anything, if I'd be still standing there being ignored. This was very uncomfortable for me and extremely upsetting, to say the least. I am not sure if I will ever return or recommend this place to anyone else. No one should be treated that way.
