Never been a fan of Mexican food buffets but this place seems to be doing it right. There was a line out the door for lunch but for three of us only waited 15 minutes. All of the food was fresh, homemade and plenty of it. The tortillas were store bought but not an issue. Three options on enchiladas, quesadilla, chicken fajita, hard shell tacos, beans, rice and all the garnish and appetizers. Horrid. Rude. Hotel manager nearby must get a cut to recommend people. Hostess/cashier steadily messing with her nose. Cold food in to-go container with hot. Unsafe. Overpriced and I got the distinct impression they treat people of color differently. Afraid to eat it. read more

Tried the buffet it not like wow but cheaper that getting your enchilada plate. ....green chicken enchiladas were good but not to die for ....it is tex mex...no doubt about it I liked it cause is very inexpensive kids buffet under 3yrs r $2.50...my hubby for the pork chops they were decent the avocado was fresh I liked that most restaurant are old and brownish...n yes I read that the salsa was salty but not that salty ....mother of God it was to salty I couldn't eat it....nor my husband waitress was nice. ...and very kid friendly would I go back well need to try the menu. ... read more

My husband and I love this place. The food is great, it is a great price, and the atmosphere is great. The place is very cute, and we always get good service. I have been to other Mexican restaurants in midland that are similar to this one, and this one is my favorite. read more

It's okay...not a fan of so much corn....decent prices, didn't like my nachos (too much grease and lettuce) or the chips. Salsa was good.

If you like a little food in your salt, then THIS is the place for you! What is it with some Midland restaurants? I guess the people out here were raised on a bottle of salt water instead of milk, but really restauranteers, listen up, you can add salt at the table but you can't take it away. I complained to manager and another plate was brought but no difference in the salt level. I gave up and didn't eat but noticed I was charged for food that was inedible to me. I will not come to this establishment ever again based on the way I was treated today while trying to have lunch with my family. I eat less than my two young kids because I am a weight loss surgery patient. I asked if I could pay for a kids buffet as I couldn't justify paying full price to not be able to eat more than one enchilada at most. I even have a card to prove I am a weight loss patient. The manager refused and said I would have to pay full price so I chose not to eat. Then when my daughter wasted her dessert from her buffet the manager who saw me eating what my daughter was entitled to proceeded to throw a fit to our waiter that I was eating and told him that I wasn't suppose to be eating off the buffet. I paid for my daughter to eat that. I am disappointed as I have never been treated so rudely at this place nor anywhere else in midland but I darn sure won't be taking my money here ever again l. read more

My wife and I eat here about once a month, I don't know why, but she likes it for some reason. Tonight was the last straw. We will NOT go back. Service is usually mediocre at best, and tonight was no exception. My wife was almost finished eating her meal before my chicken quesadillas arrived. There wasn't much chicken in them to speak of. The quesadillas were cut into triangular pieces and some didn't even have any meat in them. I've seen more meat in a McDonald's Happy Meal than in my $11 quesadillas. This really wasn't a surprise, however. Several months back my wife ordered tacos and they had NO meat on them whatsoever. She sent them back. When we got the bill, we were surprised to learn that they charged extra to put cream cheese and jalapenos on my wife's nachos. When we checked out, we voiced our dissatisfaction to the cashier. I hoped that she would at least call the manager or offer an adjustment to the bill, but no. We told her that we were semi-regulars and that we would not be back, and she really didn't seem to care. Actually, I WILL go back--one last time--to speak to the owner / manager. I don't mind paying a fair price for decent food and service, but I refuse to pay this much to be treated like dirt. read more

I like this place for the most part. Sometimes the food is a tad salty. Only Mexican buffet in town that i know of.

Wow where do i begin... well to begin the girl taking the waiting list skipped us if hadn't been for us speaking up we would have had to wait another 20 minutes. I got the buffet expecting a great cheese filled enchilada and spicy tangy carne guisada, well i was very very dissapointed. the cheese enchilada had very very little cheese if any at all and the carne guisada wasn't any where near spicy, in fact it was more sweet than spicy. I also tried some of the beef enchilada's and they were not special at all either come to think of it they had more spice than the carne guisada. The chips were chips that you could get out of a bag at the local grocery store and the salsa barely had any spice or heat to it at all either. After eating here i found myself with quiet the stomach cramps. Not good at all either. So if you are looking for good mexican food in midland don't go here save your money and go to rosa's. I actually think i've gotten better at taco bueno. The one good thing about this resturant was the waitress was positive and up beat despite being slammed and Oh the bathrooms could use more clear labelings i found myself nearly going to the womens restroom then having to search for 5 minutes to find the men's restroom. read more

Terrible service! Had 2 waitresses and one was worse than the next. Got Chips/Salsa 20 min after we sat down. The chile con queso seemed like it was from a can. She got the beer wrong, queso flameado was not hot, got my son's order wrong also....combination burritos!?!?. Forgot the beans for my order. The corn tortillas were room temperature. Only positive thing was that it was my wife's b-day and they sang happy b-day to her and gave us some ice cream but by then we just wanted the ticket so we could pay and leave..... Great MEXICAN food. There is no better BUFFET anywhere! Can't beat the service. You will not be disappointed.

Damn this place is yummy. Its the little touches that make it so good. The taco shells were awesome and warm, and not greasy like most places. The meat in the chile colorado was so tender I couldn't believe it. I was lucky enough to have the buffet right when it opened, so everything was hot and perfect. The fajita chicken was moist and chunky, and the flour tortillas were awesome. They even had sopapillas on the buffet, and they were great too. Can't go wrong at this place, just try it. There is bound to be something you'll fall in love with. I don't live in midland, but it definitely made the trip memorable. read more

This buffet is very good, but they will do everything in their power to nickel and dime you. If you don't order the lunch buffet - good luck trying to leave without being charged for something extra - from a teaspoon of sour cream to a few jalapenos to a to-go cup. read more

this place is so magical and fun...the decor is quirky and dreamy with bright colors,just lifted my spirits and was a welcome change from the general midland scenery...the food was great too..the steak fajita is superb...oh,and they even sell colorful ceramics on the first floor... read more

The salsa is really good. It's hot and flavorful with the right amount of cilantro. The chips were cold. The tortillas were store bought, not made on site. I had the Byanca, a chili relleno with queso, cheese enchilada with ranchero sauce, a tostada with queso, and a very small amount of guacamole on some shredded lettuce. It wasn't good, at all. I tasted my mother's dish, chicken and beef fajitas. They add a lot of lime to the meat, so I couldn't taste anything else. I don't recommend this restaurant unless everything else is closed and your fridge is empty. If you must eat here, have a beer and the chips and salsa. read more

This is the breezy Mexican food in Midland. It has both authentic and Tex Mex good. Service is awesome and the people are friendly. Clean restrooms and very clean restaurant. Very big portions I couldn't finish all my good. Definitely worth the trip. read more

Been eating here since I was a kid. Food and service are both great. Best chicken fajita's in town! Plus, the atmosphere just puts a smile on your face! I have not had anything there that I do not like. Also, they have the best salsa, it is fresh and not tomato sauced based like others. read more
