This place was mentioned while thrifting was taking place & it was stuck in my head to come here. A few months back, I knew about this place due to a Yelp event. After all of the selections I've tried that time, I had to come back for another visit. What's funny is that we unintentionally got there 10 mins early before open (New Year's Day) & chilled in the parking lot till open. I went with the Strawberry Lemonade (Agua Fresca) & it's something that I'll continue to get if I came back days in a row. I even had it during the Yelp event. I went with the large & I'm glad I did, I couldn't get enough of it. Other flavors they had were watermelon, cucumber, & even milk ones. I wanted something salty & something to hold me over, so when I went with the Tosti Esquite... I couldn't ask for anything more fitting. By default, you choose between two different Tostitos (Xtra Flamin' Hot or Salsa Verde), I switched it all the way up & went with the chorizo Fritos. The elote sitting over the chips with the fixings did the job. I was STUFFED!!!! The ladies working there were a lot of help & were very nice. Right after we placed our order, people started coming in & it started getting busy. This spot satisfied my munchies. My snack ended up being like a meal.

La Michoacana is a group of Mexican ice cream parlors, popular in Mexico, but also found throughout the US, Central, and South America. I am not sure whether La Michoacana PLUS is part of the La Michoacana universe but it offers very similar products including ice cream, popsicles, flavored water, and various snacks. I came in the first time for a Yelp event. The place is very colorful and I could feel the cultural influence. As attendee, I got to try 3 different products. It was busy, with most customers being Yelp attendees. There were quite a few other customers not with Yelp though. Even with a large crowd, the servers were able to process the orders in a timely manner. Everything is in Spanish, including the online website. So knowing Spanish will prove to be a valuable asset at La Michoacana PLUS. I got some sort of ice cream scoop, not sure of the flavor. The ice cream was a little sweet but I managed to finish it. Next is the raspados drink. Raspados is very similar to a snow cone drink. It's like a chamango except without the mango and salt. It was again a little sweet. I almost finished it. Lastly, I got the strawberry milk flavored water. I have sampled a different milk flavored water before going with the strawberry. The one I sampled was not too sweet, thus this was my favorite out of the 3 items. I like La Michoacana PLUS but I find drinks like chamango more fitting for me. But then places that sell chamango don't have ice cream and popsicles. Wouldn't it be great to have a venue that offers the best of both worlds.

This place is an incredible fun and entertaining for all ages. The vibrancy and loud crowd of this restaurant evokes happy times. The menu was incredibly packed with delicious options. I had the horchata and crepes and was pleased with the fair prices.

A different kind of ice cream shop is my one short assessment of La Michoacán's Plus. Some truly unusual flavors are on offer here. The quality of the ingredients is clear. A small venue with a lively atmosphere and unique menu awaits in this unassuming store

A Mangonada is best described as what seems to be both an illogical and logical combination of seasoning, fruit and sorbet. It is an outrageous schizophrenic sensory experience of conflicting, tastebud confusing, textures and flavors. Sweet, sour, spicy hot, ice cold, tart, tangy, chewy, salty, smooth, and fresh fruity. The only dessert that will burn your tongue from chili powder and give you a brain freeze at the same time. I am no expert on the concoction, but the big serving I had at La Michoacana PLUS was absolutely delicious. My wife had the Fresas con Crema. This is a deceptively rich dessert. Fresh strawberries, cream, whipped cream and my wife added granola....to make it healthy. Fresh fruit, an acre of drinks and ice cream options, great service in a store with a blinding colorful interior. We dropped in at about 3PM. There were just a few customers in front of us. By 3:30 there was a line out the door. About half of the customers were mothers bringing their kids in for an after school treat. The rest were laborers coming for a midafternoon treat to cool off. They do a big business at this time of the day. So, if you are a Mangonada aficionado, or have a sweet tooth that can only be satisfied with sweet and cold at the same time, here is your neighborhood sweet treat dealer!

This place rocks !!! I wish they had more of these open with the exact same staff and cool fun inside esthetic. The agua frescas or in English fresh flavored juice/waters are amazing !! The prices are more than affordable with no skimping in deliciousness or quality ! I like that it's fun with so many different types of lunch and snack like appetizers. These are all Hispanic inspired so please be aware of that . The staff speaks both English and Spanish and are very pleasant. Love the customer service here always happy and always making sure you like what you ordered . The amount of different ice cream choices are ridiculous. You would have to come every single day in the month o order to try maybe half of what they have . 31 flavors eat your heart out . Most of the ice cream are freshly made ! Yes that's right with real fruit ! Go out and show this place some love you won't be disappointed.

OH MY GOODNESS. THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL. It literally felt like Candyland in real life. Super colorful inside with lights, painted walls, animated trash cans and pictures. They offered so many ice cream, drinks and snacks that I felt overwhelmed! Everything was super sweet and delicious, it felt like I literally went in a Time Machine to my childhood. Y'all remember playing in the neighborhood and seeing the Elote man? Or going to a flea market/swap meet and seeing that stand that had all the good stuff? This is it. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET ALL THAT BABY. Bro they even had chamoy ice cream!! I regret not getting a chicharron preparado! I'm not from Tulsa but when I do come back in this area, I will be returning! PS: small parking lot so good luck lol

I learned about this place from my sister who lives near it. Let me say I absolutely loved everything I've had so far m. All made with real fruit. The popsicles are the best I've ever had. They are decently priced which is another plus. I had the pineapple and strawberry popsicle so far and I've added chamoy to mine for that extra boost of flavor . Run don't walk to this place

Fresas Con Crema

The Fresas con crema was good. The crema mixture i saw her scoop it from a cooler so I'm sure it's premade. Ive had better fresas. I like mine with granola all inside and on top. Service was OK. I was waiting for like 15 mins just to get skipped over in line. Luckily another worker saw it and told me she was sorry and that she had just got here. But the other girl literally walked by me as she didn't see me and took the order for the people behind me. Which was irritating to have already been waiting 15 minutes. But I was craving. Might go back for diff snacks. Place was so cute & clean. Lots of ice cream options.

On this adventure, it begins with an oil change and ends up with a stop by a popular ice cream shop. The hubby and I, after getting the cars oil, changed, were a bit snack hungry and definitely thirsty( with this heat). Since we had not been here before and had heard great things, we popped in for a "mini date" of sorts. My husband picked out the large strawberry lemonade and to eat a small cup of caramel ice cream( that ice cream was some of the smoothest I have tasted in a looong time). I chose the large mango agua fresca and the strawberry margarita paleta de agua( OMG!, it was delicious! It gave you several pops of flavor as you made your way through it). The staff was very sweet and helpful in helping us understand the menu and what is seasonal and not. I think the hubby and I have found us another "us" place, where we can relax and unwind. But if you are in T- town, pop in and try it. There's a little something for everyone to try.

I LOVED it here. The design is so colorful and the Raspados and Elote were great! I'll be coming here more often :)

Food is great, drinks are amazing, prices are low, especially for how generous the portions are. Make sure you bring a big appetite.

Instead of a simple greeting like "Welcome to Sonic," I was bluntly hit with "What do you want?" over the speaker. No courtesy, no professionalism--just attitude. I let it go and said I had a mobile order for Larry, only to be told "pull forward" in a rude, demanding tone. It didn't get better. When my food came out, the employee practically shoved the bags into my face--aggressive and completely unnecessary. At that point, it was clear this wasn't just a bad moment; it was a complete lack of basic customer service. I called the store to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead, I got even more unprofessional behavior. The manager dismissed the situation with "I'm not the one who did that." That's not the point--you're the manager, and it's your responsibility to address how customers are treated. When I pressed the issue, she escalated things further by cussing at me over the phone. Completely unacceptable. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate, but given that complaints appear to be outsourced and handled with little accountability, I'm not holding my breath. If this is the standard of service at this location, customers should seriously consider going elsewhere. Respect costs nothing--and this place seems unwilling to offer even that.

It is rare that I will eat frozen custard, and I will usually order the smallest size because I try to watch my caloric intake. I ordered the Butter Pecan Concrete, and it was so delicious that I ate the entire thing. My family was amazed! It was thick, creamy, not too sweet, with the buttery, roasted pecans. I could eat those pecans all day long! Next time, I would like to try the root beer float.
