I've always been a loyal customer to this location but starting today I don't think I'll be purchasing anything from here anymore. I got myself a torta de jamon on my break today and I didn't realize that the avocado they added on my torta was spoiled, it's so black you can't even tell it's avocado anymore. I'm so upset that they did that to me because the torta was fresh, I watched as she was making, I just failed to pay attention to what she was adding on it. The first time we stopped in, I noticed this ice cream shop was not what I expected. The paletas are not the traditional flavors the guys with the carts push around. This is a more exciting kind of paleta. Most of them have chunks of fruit in them and some flavors are not what you're used to. I opted for the yogurt when I saw people walking by with a cup full of a white liquid and fruit inside. This is straight up Mexican yogurt. A little sour, liquidy, and addicting. You get your choice of any or all of the toppings: peanuts, granola, Oreos, coconut and raisins. They're pretty brand new and don't really have any signs up with the full menu but so far, from what I can tell, their selection includes paletas, some very creative flavors of ice cream (Mangoneadas= mango ice cream with Tajin and chile), Mexican yogurt, cueritos, and elotes. It seems they are planning on opening a second location in Berwyn soon. The only thing that sucks is that it is located in a small strip mall and since it has quickly become very popular, parking is difficult. read more

I definitely love this place. My favorite thing to get here is the their yogurt. You can have almost anything in your yogurt with out feeling that you are cheating your diet. My son loves their hot Cheetos with lemon and hot sauce. Prices are not bad for what ever you have a taste for. This place has a lot of space to have your snack with your whole family. If you want ice cream, this isn't the place I'd go. (I'd go to Jeni's, just sayin'.) But the paletas? The paletas are amazing and worth the trek if you don't live nearby. Be prepared for the following: The menu, which is on a screen and will periodically disappear to show you pictures of food you can't identify, doesn't even necessarily reflect what they have. So you'll have to ask what the flavors are. They carry a ton of traditional Mexican flavors, like nuez (pecan), mango with chile, galleta (cookies 'n' cream--yeah, they make this one in Mexico). I also saw pistachio, pineapple . . . sometimes they have strawberry, but they said they didn't have it today. There were something like 15 - 20 flavors, it looked like. Lots to choose from, and the prices were amazing. One of their specialties is the mangoneada, which I didn't try there, but is a parfait sort of deal of frozen mango, chile sauce, and lime. You can get other flavors. It looked fantastic. We did have their ice cream--I was underwhelmed by it, but I am spoiled on Jeni's. If you aren't into artisan ice cream, you'll possibly prefer the kind served here. Bring cash if you're only getting something small; credit cards are a ten dollar minimum! read more

Don't get me wrong -it's a cute place with friendly service and your standard ice cream flavors. However, it does not have the homemade charm of helote, chile or tequila flavored ice cream. Just normal flavors. So, if you want to support a cute local business with your vanilla, strawberry etc., this is your place! Bad customer service. Was ignore completely by staff. I order a yogurt and she mumbled something and left to the other side and took someone elses order for the same thing! If I was in the wrong line then they need to put signs! When another staff came she didnt want to take my order because I didnt have my number becuase the other lady took it! I don't like how they put a lot of chamoy. some days they give an OK service other days they just don't care to be polite. Its hard to deal with the parking as going in and out. its small there. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is that I wish it had better parking and more tables and chairs inside. I had their fresas con crema , my girls had ice cream and my nephew a strawberry paleta de leche and a strawberry sherbert scoop on a waffle cone. DELICOUS!!! I felt like I was in Mexico and their yogurts from what I saw look like the traditional kind they serve in Mexico.
