In all our years residing in San Diego we took our first ride across the bay after the Coronado Bay Bridge walk. The views were the best, it took awhile to get on the ferry as the event hosted 10k runners and walkers heading back to San Diego There is some free parking nearby, Quaint shops and a variety of quick eat and sit down restaurants to sit on the water here. A lovely place to see the San Diego skyline. #Coronado #TidelandsPark #Ferry #SanDiego

I always find myself spending at least a little time at the Coronado Ferry Landing each year. I enjoy the restaurants, stores, and even just sitting near the water reading a book. I am just as content being on my own there, being with my wife, or visiting with a friend at the Coronado Ferry Landing. The Coronado Ferry Landing has many great restaurants. I have enjoyed visiting Peohe's, Il Fornaio, Spiro's Greek Cafe, and Le Parfait Paris each year. In addition, there is Lil' Piggy's Bar-B-Q, Cocina 35 Brunch, Cold Stone Creamery, Coronado Coffee Company, Burger King, and Village Pizzeria. There are also many other restaurants nearby on Orange. For information and links to each of these restaurants, go to https://coronadoferrylanding.com/dine. There are also some great shops offering everything from designer shades and sandals to boutique fashions and great souvenirs. Some great shopping options include La Camisa Coronado, the Coronado Tasting Room, Vom FASS Coronado, Lisa's Boutique, and Miss Match. You can find links to each of these shops at https://coronadoferrylanding.com/shop. You can also find plenty to do at the Coronado Ferry Landing including bike and surrey rentals, bike and kayak tours, flagship cruises and events, and jet ski rentals. Find more about these at https://coronadoferrylanding.com/things-to-do. They also host concerts each weekend (https://coronadoferrylanding.com/events). Of course, you can actually take the ferry for $9 each way. In general, they are open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM. While I have shared links above, read more about the Coronado Ferry Landing in general on their own website at https://coronadoferrylanding.com. You can even sign up for their newsletter. As an amazingly picturesque location in Coronado with a lot to offer, I recommend that anyone visiting Coronado check out the Coronado Ferry Landing!

I needed supplies for making a cake and couldn't find the aisle. I asked a nice young lady for help and she pointed me in the right direction. The cashier a checkout was also very friendly. I still wanted to purchase it, at the register upon opening it to see if it had any damages it looked like it had a scratch. I politely asked if I could get some sort of discount. The cashier said normally no but that she would ask her team lead. The cashier was sweet no issues with her. The team lead on the other hand, rose or Rosa she was very rude. She told me to my face that she wasn't sure if I had opened it so she couldn't offer a discount. I asked her if she could check the cameras then because I didn't mind waiting and again that's the condition I found it in. She continued to have a rude tone with me and gave me 11¢ off. Not what I was hoping for but I accepted the¢ discount. I then told rose or Rosa with a very polite tone that she was rude and she said back "I'm not being rude" and refused to check herself. Rosa or rose also told the cashier to go on lunch so she turned off her sign but the rose or Rosa turned it back on then got mad at the cashier for not turning it off.

There was some foot traffic but since it was a normal work day, it was light and not crowded. There's lots of small tourist like shops in the area and some restaurants like Malibu Farm. They also have lots of wildlife that seems to live in the area around the ponds, mostly birds. I was able to see so many baby ducks! Not too sure about the parking situation since I walked from my hotel, but I really enjoyed the area for a peaceful morning walk.

There were so many people visiting Seaport Village today. We approached from the Embarcadero walkway from the north. As we walked up, there is a sign that welcomes you to Seaport Village overhead. It's always very nice to see that. There are new shops and restaurants that are available. I was amazed at how many restaurants Seaport Village Now has. The Mike Hess Brewing is still there. The fish shop is still there and Mr. Moto's pizza is also still there. However, it was great to see that the shorebird had been remodeled and now is open for business over the water on the right hand side of the walkway. The highlight of our visit was walking by and seeing the Zeta restaurant now open on the walkway with views of the waterfront. Please see my review for the Zytoun restaurant. Please keep in mind that right now. Seaport Village is very, very busy with construction. Most of the businesses are still open however, several of them are in a construction area. The businesses over on the east side of Seaport Village before you get to the Sally's restaurant, are affected by the renovations. Spilled the beans coffee and Mike has tasting room are not affected, but foot traffic is affected. The town Square where they normally have music and entertainment is not affected now they have games somewhat like lawn games available in that square area, but the foot traffic is affected by the construction of the Outer building facing the marina. Ther are so many vendors here now. We actually were able to visit an art gallery, walk over the pond bridge, with ducks and pigeons, peruse through so many cute shops, check out all of the food offerings, and just enjoy the beautiful views of the water at the Embarcadero Marina Park while here. This is a wonderful walk, and with the vendors, and other sites, it ends up being an adventure.
