I walk back up to the bar and mention that my appointment was for 12:30 and my Manicurist-to-be just started eating her lunch. She said, Yes, she shouldn't take too long, then she'll be with you. W H A T ????? HOW RUDE!! SUCH HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm ready to pay someone $100 or more and she on purposely leaves to get her lunch and then proceeds to eat while I am waiting. My constructive criticism is that, at least with my barber, some basic finishing steps seemed to be skipped unless I requested them. He used the blade on my mustache and beard without applying shaving gel, which caused some irritation. After he said he was finished, I went to pay but came back and asked him to line up my mustache again because it was noticeably uneven. He fixed it and said it was done, but when I got home, I noticed it was still uneven. It also wasn't until I was about to leave that he asked if I wanted alcohol sprayed on the areas that had been shaved. I'm not a barber, but I feel like things such as using shaving gel, properly checking the lineup, and applying aftershave or alcohol to freshly shaved areas are basic parts of the service and shouldn't have to be specifically requested.

Turned out to be an amazing error in our favor - we did an 80 minute couples massage and it was phenomenal. Michael and Jarina took incredible care of us and set us up for a week of relaxation and much needed rest. Place was super clean - check in was in the nail salon, but massages are on the second floor next door. Uber/Lyft from the airport and to the cruise terminal was painless. At the end she soaked my hands in paraffin wax with eucalyptus. This was an added treat for me but included in the cost of their amazing manicure. I have had manicures in several states but having one in San Juan PR with Vale at Miss Pink has topped the charts. Definitely worth every penny!
