Have to this place 2 times. Will never come back. 1st visit…read morereal bad service. I arrived and they did hand me a menu. 10 minutes later I had to flag a bartender. They were not even busy but the staff were just talking with each other. I order a beer since I was watching a soccer game. Finished my beer they never came back to offer another one. After waiting a while I decided to leave. 2nd visit. I wanted to give them another try and wanted to see a basketball game. I arrived and this time a server did sat me down and i order a beer and some apps. I asked to see if they can put the basketball game on and they did. Was there for a while this time the service was good and food was okay. With ten minutes for the basketball game to finish they change the channel. I said if they could change it back and they refused. I payed and let them know that I was never coming back. It looked that they did not care. This place is not really busy and by treating customer like this I think it never will. To bad because the restaurant looks nice and there are not very many places in playas to catch a game.

I really wanted this place to live up to the first good experience We had... So disappointing…read more. Second time we went, we waited 15 minutes to be seated... we asked for a tamarind margarita... no tamarind.. ok. So we proceed to place an order and was told the party before us had order hamburgers and they would not have enough for our order.. So we left. This past week decided to give them another shot... Terrible decision.. Staff has no desire to be there, let alone service you. No A/c or fans !!! Extremely hot.. They weren't letting you seat outside because it was not "ready" but they sat there chatting while we were left inside and no one came to take our drink orders or any order! Very disappointed... Save yourself a headache, trip and money! Take a scenic drive and go the one in Rosarito... Much better service!

Affordable and nice, family-friendly breakfast next to the beach…read more Stopped by to have breakfast with my family of five, including 2 adults and 3 kids who eat like adults. There is parking on-site and on the street. You can enter the parking lot either through Sea Coast Drive or Imperial Beach Boulevard. We arrived at 9:30am on a Saturday and found plenty of open parking. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a friendly staff member and seated ourselves in the patio area. A server came over right away, took our drink order, and brought us menus. She refilled our drinks before they were empty and brought us boxes once she saw we were done. She was attentive and anticipated our needs. She was always friendly whenever she stopped by our table. My Denver omelet came with home fries and toast, for a small fee I substituted the toast for pancakes. The cheese on my Denver omelet was burned. I prefer the cheese to be melted and stretchy, as it adds flavor and texture to the omelet. The burned cheese took away from the overall flavor of the omelet. The home fries are always delicious - slightly crispy, well-seasoned, with sautéed bell peppers topped with queso fresco. The pancake was dry and didn't have much flavor. I've been here many times before, and the pancakes are always delicious. The breakfast sandwich was okay. The tomato was a bit overwhelming and made the sandwich slightly soggy. The breakfast burger was tasty and made just as ordered. The mini chocolate chip pancakes were really good, definitely on the sweet side. The portions are big and you will definitely have leftovers. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Both areas have many TVs showing different sporting events, making it a great place to watch a Padres game. Next time you are in Imperial Beach check this spot out, I will be back soon.

This is a dive bar right next to the beach. The food is delicious. We had wings (super crispy!)…read moreAnd nachos, both were amazing. The only downside of the nachos was that the serving portion was too small for the price. Drinks are good and the bartenders are really cool. Definitely a must if in IB

My first visit was for open mic comedy. I ordered a patty melt which came with hand cut fries. It…read morewas pretty good, although the onions were described as caramelized but were just lightly grilled. Probably delicious for true onion lovers but I pulled most of them off. The cheesy patty on rye bread was still delicious, and there were more fries than I could eat. Not much of a crowd except for the comics themselves, maybe 10-12 with a very entertaining host in between. All were good but many were hilarious including a first-timer. Fun vibe for sure, I would happily go again. I deducted one star because as a new guest, I asked the bartender if they had any special house cocktails. She seemed to hear the word special and thought I meant cheap. I said not necessarily cheap, but do you have any interesting house cocktails here. She said no, so I ordered something boring. Then I got the food menu which on the back had an entire list of house cocktails. But service overall was excellent.

No Bartender! Friday afternoon about 4:30PM. I have been going to the Scoreboard for over 20…read moreyears now with no previous issues. This particular occasion, myself and another patron sat down at the bar and waited....and waited...and..... Finally I asked the cook if there was a bartender. He told me "no bartender. the bar is closed for an hour". Now wouldnt you think that IF the bar was closed at a Bar and Grill they would maybe close the doors and not let people sit there and wait for somebody that never shows up? Just a thought. I dont know if they changed ownership possibly, but this kind of (lack of) service is not going to fly with the general public. Its a shame. I use to love this place.
