I simply can't rave enough about this wonderful place. This restaurant is inside an alluring animal stable-turned-cave in the lovely borgo (the old section) of Calitri. The setting, from the decorations to the table, is warm, inviting, and elegant. The panoramic views of the rolling hills of Irpinia from the restaurant will take your breath away. Everyone that works there, from the chef to the waiters, is very attentive and hospitable. The chef, Tania, is just outstanding and makes everything from scratch. Nowhere else have I had such delicious, authentic pasta. If you come to Calitri, this must be at the top of your list for places to eat. You will not be disappointed. As for the dishes, I highly recommend the cannazze and vrasicola. read more
