We had an amazing experience with LA Limo in Victoria. My family and I were on the Norwegian Bliss and we found LA Limo through the Butchart Gardens website. We priced out the options and LA Limo's luxury bus was a better value than booking the excursion through NCL. Bob was our driver and was an incredible tour guide. He took us to the Gardens as soon as we got off the ship so we could maximize our time there. We had considerable more time than the people who booked through NCL. After the gardens closed, he took us on an amazing sightseeing tour on the way back to the ship and he told us great stories and the history of Victoria. He was extremely genuine and enthusiastic about his job and he clearly took care of us throughout the tour. He said we were the first cruise ship to dock in Victoria for 2024 so the atmosphere was filled with excitement - which enhanced our experience. Their office staff is very organized and prompt in communication. Jennifer and Dylan were extremely responsive and kept us updated at all times. I cannot wait to return to Victoria and I would not hesitate to use LA Limo for all my transportation needs. That was the highlight of our trip and definitely the most memorable. read more

Can't say enough good things about this company! My team & I used their services (airport/excursions/dinner transfers) for a week long event in Victoria for a total of around 60 guests. Nicole and Kyara were wonderful to work with. Despite the never-ending changes throughout the week, they were very quick to respond and happily worked with us to pivot as we continued to update our asks. The drivers were also fantastic - very personable and communicative with our team with last minute changes. LA Limos went above and beyond to help us ensure this event ran smoothly. Absolutely top notch service! Victoria had a huge dump of snow. My daughter's cab didn't show up for her 6:30 am pickup to get to the airport. The other cab company was not answering. The busses not running. We didn't know where to turn. I called LA Limo and the kind lady on the phone didn't have any cars available. I explained the situation and driver David, who had just finished a brutal shift, came to our rescue. He picked my daughter up and got her to the airport in plenty of time for her flight. Limousines over a period of 4 days to pick up and drop off VIPs from Victoria International Airport to the Oak Bay Beach Hotel and also as a shuttle service the night of an event between the hotel and a private home -- with an unanticipated trip to downtown. We made adjustments along the way to accommodate our VIPs. Kyara and her entire team -- from the coordinators to the drivers -- could not be more professional. Ordered car service from this company for my mom that was flying into Victoria Airport. Not knowing this area I needed a company that I can rely on to do that job and these guys did not dissapoint.. I was not there personaly to experience the service recieved however I was told that everything went smoothly with the driver and getting her to the destination hassle free. My experience with the ordering process which I can freely speak about was easy.. All I had to do was simplily email my request and I was immediately contacted and got the process rolling. I would like to give them 0 if I could. I had ordered a white limo for my birthday. The theme was white. When a black one pulled up I asked the driver " I thought I ordered a white one " The driver was very rude saying " I don't have to put up with this " and drove away! To make matters worse they still charged my credit card! I contacted them and argued back and forth for days about the payment. I felt like I was getting no where on the phone and asked to come into their office to speak in person. They said they didn't have an office told me I could meet them at a public location. When I arrived there was the employee and another man who looked like " the muscle ". A very big man who just stood there, staring at me not saying a word. In my opinion it was there way of trying to intimidate me. Ill never use them again. read more

Their service, from the prompt response to my email request to the pleasant receptionist who took my CC number the next day to our wonderful driver who not only drove us professionally and safely but also taught us a great deal about the wineries and Victoria in general, was exceptional. We had a confirmed reservation for an SUV to transport our party from our downtown Victoria hotel to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal at 7:30 to make the 9:00 ferry to Vancouver. When the car had not arrived by 7:40, I was told "I'm sorry, your reservation didn't get put into the computer." My confirming emails and deposit meant nothing. we had to take two taxis and the extra cost was not as bad as the stress and inconvenience caused by LA Limosine on what should have been a relaxing vacation. I'm an independent meeting planning and had the opportunity to work with LA Limo on airport as well as field trip transfers. The conference was located in a town an hour outside of Victoria, provided there was no traffic. They easily managed over 100 pick-ups and departures as well as four field trip adventures. They tracked delayed flights, rescheduled transfers for missed flights and somehow managed to get our attendees where they needed to be even with a road accident, construction and heavy commute traffic. There were many last minute changes and adjustments. I can't say enough good things about their organizational abilities as well as their professional, knowledgeable and friendly drivers. I am very unhappy with and do not recommend this service. They overcharged by 100$ an airport pickup when we missed a tight connection and called from the connection point to say we would be on the next flight. We had advised them when booking we might miss the very tight connection and were told just to call if that happened, then they put an extra 100$ on my credit card. We've had 2 dealings with this company, with the first being November 5th 2011 and August 3rd 2012. Unfortunately both were not the memorable experience that a customer would come to expect from paying for limousine services. The first booking for a statuette which we had to cancel as we were planning on decorating the Limo bus prior to the party and logistically Alpine was the better choice as LA Limo parks their vehicles way out in Metchosin. After a phone call to cancel the booking arrangement with LA Limo, they proceeded to call us back to confirm and not realizing it was LA Limo and thinking were were still only dealing with ALPINE we arranged a pick up time. Understanding that we made a simple error unfavourable to us the LA Limo bus arrived to pick us up at the same time as the Alpine Limo bus. After the confusion was sorted out and apologies were made by us to LA Limo we were stuck with the full amount of the bill, somewhere around $1200. Sympathetic to the situation we were and would amour-ably pay the driver for his time, but they stuck us with the entire bill, and denied that we ever cancelled. Insinuating that our planning committee were acting unfaithful and continue to instill upon themselves and us that the cancellation never took place. After some tears and some discussion they able to afford us a credit of a 2 hour value in a stretched limo, however not the limo bus. Which they did reduce the total charge down from the original $1200 which was decent especially in these financial times that to our dismay this country still is feeling, with people not spending as much disposable income as we have in the past. Finally August 3rd for a special moms night dating back from Mothers Day gifts we decided to use the credit that we were afforded. We booked a limo for a pick up and drop off to Mama Mia as well as a pick up from the show and drop off. By the time we reached the day of the show we called LA Limo the morning of to confirm the reservation as THIS time around we received no confirmation phone call. Not realizing this was foreshadowing of things to come in dealing with this company. The booking was for pick up at 6:30 as the show started at 8pm. Waiting in the drive way for 15 minutes past the scheduled (so we thought) pick up time we called the office and the confusion in the voice on the other end was apparent and our booking seemed to have been "forgotten". After some scrambling this older stretched Lincoln arrived 35 minutes behind schedule. With the driver in a panic and eager to help satisfy the customer which the company has failed to do, yet again. The eager driver was a little to eager or in experienced or possibly was busy enjoying life when he got the call to fill in and pick us up as he displaced a couple patio stones as he exited my driveway, narrowly missing a 2ft deep trench in front of the house which would have had a limo completely block the road being stuck in the ditch. In addition to causing significant damage to the exterior of the limo, he caused the occupants to spill beverages all over their brand new formal wear that was chosen as the attire for the elegant evening that had yet to even get going. The driver had to return back to the house so we the customers could clean up after his atrocious driving. But the driver still had a smile on his face and made it his mission to ensure a a fabulous evening was had and the proper treatment was bestowed upon his guests which is above and beyond what the company itself would ever be willing to do. Because the limo was so old and technology has far surpassed its life span the driver went out to get an adaptor so we could play an iphone in the car and relish in the fact that Mama Mia was an amazing performance and a great show that will never be forgotten and allow us to relive those moments during the extended drive home. But sadly the one dark spot of that evening was LA Limo and the low level of customer service provided by them as a company. Except from the driver there was no apology or explanation by the office given as to why there was no car here at 6:30pm as booked. They only seemed to place blame on the customers who were trying to show their mothers a a great evening. As this past night Aug 3rd was only a "credit" we were treated as second class customers and received second class treatment from this company. It is one thing to settle confusions and business dealings in an appropriate and professional manner, however to conduct business with arrogance and treat customers as a lower class of citizen is beyond wrong, as well with threatening undertones. read more
