The restaurant has plenty of seating and walk-ins are welcome. I would maybe recommend making a reservation on a weekend because it can get busy for late dinner. I ordered a mojito to drink which was good. They made a snail out of the lime on my glass which was fun touch. We started with spring rolls and pan-fried dumplings for an appetizer. Both were very good! For the main dish, we ordered green beans, shrimp fried rice, lo main, and their famous slippery shrimp. Everything is very good but the best by far are the green beans and slippery shrimp!!!! We ordered another plate of slippery shrimp to take home, it's that good. The kitchen is quick and the food comes out when it's hot vs waiting till everything is done. The location of the restaurant is in the heart of Chinatown so it's all street parking. They do have valet parking out front on the left side of the restaurant. Overall I love this restaurant and highly recommend coming here for the SLIPPERY SHRIMP!

Parking can be a bear, but there are lots for a fee. It is safe and fun. Yang Chow has been there forever and they have the best fried rice and soup. They just don't serve bad food. The prices are fair and the place is comfortable and not usually crowded. It is a great place to take friends from out of town and it is kid friendly. The service is so kind and nice. They never rush you, but get your food out fast. We always get a bunch for the table and share. Their Sizzling Platter with Scallops is one of our favorited dishes and their Szechuan Chicken is so good. Their Pan Fried Dumplings and their spring rolls are a must. Have a great time in Chinatown.

I really enjoyed the dimly lit Hong Kong style bar. Food arrived pretty promptly after we ordered but we did get an array of hot and cold items. Flavors were fabulous. Fish potstickers had a delightful crunch and savory, flavorful filling. Shrimp shumai have a nice bite with plenty of filling. Our chili oil noodles had a great texture and wasn't too spicy. Their house made chili oil had a nice spice profile, not wildly spicy. Quaint place that was a perfect spot for two. Prices were reasonable and their house drinks were well balanced. Great experience.

We were excited to try this dumpling house after coming across it and deciding it looked promising…read more Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly before we even had a chance to order. When we walked in, the restaurant was practically empty, with only a couple of individual customers dining. The gentleman behind the bar greeted us and directed us to a two-person table. We approached the table, but since it was arranged so that we would be sitting across from each other, I gestured toward the adjacent four-person table because we preferred to sit next to one another. The gentleman reiterated that we should sit at a two-person table. His female coworker then stepped in, and when my partner politely asked whether we could sit at the four-person table instead, explaining that I wanted us to sit beside each other, her response came with an unnecessary attitude. She explained that although the restaurant wasn't busy at the moment, they needed to keep the table available in case more customers arrived. I completely understand wanting to manage seating and accommodate future customers. That's not the issue. It was the dismissive delivery and the way such a simple, polite request was handled that made the interaction uncomfortable. At that point, we decided not to dine there and left. We came in genuinely excited to try the food, but the customer service alone was enough to make us walk right back out. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one wasn't a good one.

I am swooning over Woon!…read more I have not had good chinese food in so long, Woon did it for me. Chicken wings- I loved these chicken wings, these remind me of my childhood and ordering wings from chinese takeout places. They were crispy and covered in scallions! 5/5 Fried rice- I think this was only miss of the night for me. The texture was great, but I felt like it lacked flavor. 2/5 Beef noodles- I loved these! Bouncy, saucy noodles with the most amazing pieces of beef and mushroom. I genuinely would come back just because of these. 7/5 Scallion pancakes- light and flaky and came with a vinegary sauce that was amazing. I do wish they had slightly more scallions in them. 4/5 Service was good. You order before you sit down, so there's not too much interaction. The restaurant itself is a gorgeous with chill lighting and a decent amount of seating. Might even come back for my birthday!

The noodles definitely had a chew to them, but needed a bit more flavor. Sake - 5 Stars. We ordered sake from here and that was absolutely delicious. All in all I'd give this spot another chance in person, but wouldn't do take-out again.

Disappointment is all this place is with their rude staff... My bff and me were having dinner…read morecomfortably at first, while she stepped away to go to the bathroom. One of the waiters comes and asks if we were ready for to go boxes. I would understand if we would just be talking or showing any signs we were done.. so I told him no... we were still eating... he apologized and walked away. My friend comes back sits down and continues to eat. That same waiter comes back and asks us if we can scoot more to the left ( we were sitting in one of the long tables closest to the register) as they had a big party coming in.. okay fine.. we understood.. and we moved more left and I was already at the edge of the bench... we continue eating and talking... guess what... that same waiter comes back again to tell us if we would move AGAIN pointing to a stool next to me.. because there was a big group coming in... at this time I was fkn annoyed as hell... but my best friend is wayyyy calmer and nicely tells me she will sit on the stool so I didnt have to move again. Fine... she moves.. AGAIN... and we go on eating... that annoying waiter saw I was pissed.. supposedly apologized by giving us two small cups of beer ( which I don't drink).. again... the group started arriving and sitting next to us... keep in mind we were already sitting at the corner of the stupid table.... then guess what...... another waitress comes and asks us AGAIN if we would move to the other stools on the side of the table because they had a huge party and didn't fit and they wanted to make sure we were "comfortable " or if we would move tables... at this point I was fkn pissed... i snapped at her and said no... we have been trying to have dinner and another waiter already pretty much told us to go then since i said we didn't need to go boxes came TWICE to make us move!!! That what was there problem... supposedly she acted surprised that she didn't know someone else had come to try to move us but that they just wanted to make sure we were "comfortable " due to the huge group coming in and we would be better if we moved... i was so livid.. i told her no!! We were not done eating... already was inconvenienced twice by moving me and I just wanted to be left ALONE!!! Again another apology... and to eat comfortably and no rush... SERIOUSLY.... IF NO FKN RUSH WHY TRY MOVES US FROM THE TABLE just to accommodate other people... we were sat there first.... we were actually trying to have dinner.... why the fk come and try make us leave for a group that didn't fit together? Excuse me? Is that our fault?? Were they fk VIP and thats why you had to come move us 3 times to accommodate them!!! The people who didn't fit at the table with their group should be sat somewhere else!! Not our fault they didn't fit together.... at this point I was wayyy to fkn pissed... my bff tried to calm me down.. tell me it's okay... but no... its not OKAY.... they new it was two of us and sat us there... we were also PAYING CUSTOMERS..... fkn annoying.... the female waiter came back and again apologized and said due to what happened our dinner would be complimentary and refunded our money.. also if we wanted anything else to let them know.... for what... so we get told if we wanted to go boxes while we were eating or to be asked to move again to inconvenience us to accommodate other people just arriving... those refunded 40 dollars did NOT take away the sour experience... i used to love this place and took anyone who came to visit me... but hey grate news!!! I will no longer ever go again so YOU GUYS don't have to tell me to sit in one place then asked to be moved 4 times!!!! So fkn annoyed I didn't finish eating and left my food.. my bff took hers.. but WTF was that... Bunch of hypocritical service.... if you want the same experience... go ahead and go... as for us... there are better places to eat at and don't inconvenience us and can have dinner peacefully.... oh... i wish I could give you ZERO STARS
