Their vanilla bean chargers with a banana blended in it are phenomenal! They've got espresso in them. If I could, I'd just drink these all day. La Java on Cardinal has a great atmosphere for sitting and getting work done, or meeting someone to chat. They've got the coffee center to get drinks or snacks, a place to get tea & choose coffee beans to have freshly ground for you. There are tables & a couple plush chairs as well, with a couple outside as well. I come here for those delicious vanilla bean & banana chargers & the atmosphere. I recommend this place. read more

I am not a fan of big chain coffee places, I prefer to keep it local so La Java is one of my favorite place for coffee, better coffee and better prices too. The staff here is friendly and there is not attitude like some of the people at the big place. If you find yourself in the village stop by for a beverage and some food, you won't be disappointed. This place does not mess around. I was experiencing an afternoon slump and ordered the largest coffee I could. It was more effective than a handful of adderall (not endorsing adderall). I ordered a latte with almond milk, and I have never had a latte with that ratio of milk to espresso. It was bananas. Usually a latte is very light brown or maybe nude. This looked like iced coffee with a splash of milk. And it was amazing. I need this coffee every morning. read more

I don't hit many La Java's because I'm not usually in those areas. I've been to this location recently, and really like going here to meet up with someone for a chat. That seemed to be a theme with a lot of people that were there. I would consider going here to do work, but could be difficult with everyone else yakking away. If you're in a hurry, they have a drive-thru! There are two registers at this location, so make sure you're in the right line. One is to get your drinks, the other is for getting bags of coffee blends. They will grind up the coffee beans for you if needed. I bought a bag of the Stillmank Perky Porter blend for my brother, and was told it was fantastic. If you're a tea lover, like myself, there's a wall with a large variety of loose leaf teas in small bags. It's very easy to find a type of tea, take it right off the shelf. There are also shelves with big jars of tea, in case you need a bigger portion. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE DRIVE-THRU ON VELP AVE. My usual coffee is the daily roast with extra cream. I order this at ALL coffee houses. In the past I have visited this drive-thru with my order and have been satisfied. BUT the last two visits (which happen to be on a Saturday mid-morning, have been blah!! My coffee is handed to me and it is luke warm. I have noticed that it's been the same associate that has worked these hours. YES, I understand that I ask for extra cream and at other LaJava locations my coffee is handed to me hot. YES, it doesn't stay hot for long but at least it gets the associate off the hook. THIS particular associate on Velp Ave. evidently needs to be re-trained like the other associates at the other locations. read more

Our new go-to coffee house. I make it a point to find a more mom and pop type coffee house because the coffees are just so much better. This little place didn't disappoint. I've been back multiple times and have tried several of their drinks. The Milky Way latte (warm or iced), the turtle latte (warm or iced) are both my favorites! Love this location! It's a bit more trendy in decor (but I like that) and a great hangout place for meetings and get togethers. The coffee and loose tea are some of the best in Green Bay. Ahhh, the smell of favored coffee. Initially I was reminded of Gloria Jeans. Sugary, sweet coffee smell. As you walk in you are nearly attacked by various coffee ware and utensils. Was a bit off-putting. The Barista at the counter didn't even greet us and just kinda stared blankly. Odd. I was intrigued by the WALL of different loose leaf teas and WALL of coffee beans. I like that they have a drive through. I dislike that the prices are high and the quality of the drinks varies. I do like them though and I am happy they have taken over the location by Walmart that I love to go to. If you are looking for a decent chai tea this place has it most of the time. I have been getting my coffee exclusively from this place for years. They have many FTO varieties and it's all roasted at the Lineville location in small batches. It really is phenomenal tasting and just so smooth. Anyone who I give that coffee to always comments on how delicious it is. I really can't speak to the food as I've never eaten there. I do know when the store first opened the service was a bit rocky, but that is a non-issue now so don't let those other reviews scare you away. read more

I work really close to this place, so I frequent it before my morning shifts when possible. As far as the coffee goes, they have an amazing selection as well as a variety of iced and blended drinks. They also offer a breakfast and lunch menu. I usually get the breakfast croissant, which is good aside from the fact that they must put the cheese on last as it is never actually melted on the sandwich and I usually have to microwave it. The gratifying greens smoothie is a nice departure from your normal strawberry banana without having to go to a full on juice bar, so I do enjoy that as well. My biggest complaint about La Java is the speed and service at times. Sometimes I'm in and out very quickly, however most times it takes up to 10 minutes for my sandwich to be made, and often there are no employees standing in front when you first walk in which is a pet peeve of mine. Overall it's a good coffee shop with a very hearty menu, they could just use some work on the timing. Will definitely not let it stop me from coming here, just wish it was a little bit quicker! read more

Huge selection of coffees and teas, and very friendly barista! Chatted for a bit about the different things they had when I told it was my first time in. Decided on an Italian soda because of how many different fruit syrup choices they had. I really appreciated that she made extra sure that the soda was fresh and fizzy (some coffee shops leave the bottles sit for a while and you're left with an uncarbonated syrupy drink...). Didn't get anything to eat, but the lunch menu looked very intriguing, lots of vegetarian options, as well as some chicken/turkey sandwiches. Great selection of gift ideas for coffee/tea drinkers. Mmmm coffee . I love it. And La Java A Roasting House has the goods. I usually order a Caramel Macchiato, but there is plenty of other things to try. Their Chai Tea is wonderful and you can't go wrong with a Latte. Prices are fair- around $2 for the Brew of the Day and $4-5 for specialty drinks. I don't typically stop here if I'm in a hurry because they take such care to make a perfect coffee that it can take more than a few minutes to get that liquid gold. They do have a drive-thru for those days when you just don't want to get out of the vehicle. All-in-all this is one of my favorite spots to stop to treat myself read more

I love la java with my whole heart. Especially loved the comfort and staff at the lineville location. The merge with zestys is terrible. I dont understand why it happened, but i feel like its not going to be helpful for either business. I liked la java because it didnt feel like starbucks and like I was another random customer, but at zestys it feels like another big chain and it lost all of its charm. I adore this place. The menu is creative and gigantic, the baristas are very outgoing, and the space is big enough to still be cozy. My portabella mushroom wrap was amazing and huge, and per the barista's recommendation I had a White Shark Chai. This chai was made with white tea instead of the traditional, and I loved it! I normally go there all the time but lately I have been searching for other options to go for coffee as service quality has become subpar. I went in today with a friend and was awkwardly greeted by what I'm assuming was a new employee and another employee didn't acknowledge us. I ordered my chai latte with soy and a Carmel latte with an extra shot. I received a soy Carmel latte and they happily remade the drink to my original order. people make mistakes so it was no big deal. I brought both of the drinks home and realized they felt a little light. my husband opened his caramel latte and said it was cold and the cup wasn't even 3/4 full. we don't live far so there was no reason for it to be anything but steaming. Also, the extra shot that I ordered in the Carmel latte was definitely not there. things like this have been happening often and I understand sometimes people have off days but something needs to be done about the staffs performance. I love la java, but not when experiences like this happen. anyone can make coffee, I go to la java because everyone is friendly, it's not comfortable going in on the weekends. read more
