Nice small town coffee shop. They serve Steep and Brew Coffee, with a small menu of wraps and sandwiches. One different thing is they have a pretty decent selection of used books so if you are on vacation or business and need to kill some time, they have some good reading material for sale Comfortable and nice, in a small strip mall with an easy to overlook sign. Stop in - you won't be disapointed

    Peach cobbler muffin and coffee/chai.

Needed a hot beverage on a cold day. Stopped in the early afternoon. I was rather happy to see all of the chai options most places are limited but they had a ton of variety. I selected the hot vanilla chai. It was creamy and the perfect temperature to drink right away. Light in spice it hit the spot. I also shared a muffin with my husband. We got the peach cobbler. While the flavor was good it was a mess to eat very flakey. Atmosphere in here is really relaxing and the bathrooms were spotless. I would stop in again.

They have a dog Benny who hangs out and my wife and I are dog people and had our dog Sauce hanging with us while we had an amazing lunch! Everything was super fresh and the bread the caprese sandwich was served on came from a local bakery which is also a must stop called Renards European Bakeshoo. Had the lavender lemonade, which I also recommend. Can't wait to be back in Princeton as it's a hidden Gem and go back to Horseradish!

Horseradish was bustling at 12:30pm on a Saturday, but wasn't too overly packed when we came in. We were able to find a table for 4 and get our orders in quickly. That being said, it took over an hour of listening to terribly overstimulating music with bad vibes to actually get our food. Our kids were hangry, as were the children at a few other tables as well. I ordered the Vegan Witch (I LOVE kimchi) and my daughter ordered the Gus Special No. 1. We also all ordered various sodas/Olipops. The prices for the sodas were absurd, and the side salad that I ordered with my vegan witch was flavorless. I was kind of shocked at the kids' menu options and expected better ... my daughter of course ate it, as she's 4, and who doesn't love cheese on tortilla chips, but what an odd lunch option. I would have preferred more kid friendly veggie options for the side veggies, as radishes are a bit strange to plate for a child ... my sandwich was good, but just seemed to be lacking something. Staff were incredibly nice, but with how slow service was, I would not recommend going when you're actually hungry. I also don't recommend for kids. It was a fun experience and a nice find for in the middle of nowhere, but I guess I was just hoping for a bit more ... The bathrooms are nice, and my daughter and I loved the banana and lipstick lights on the bathroom walls that were also for sale. Cute place, slow service. I'll probably never be in Green Lake, Wisconsin again, so I can't say whether I'd return or not.

However last night the waitress took our order, berry salad and a quesadilla, we waited 40 minutes and finally received our food. Berry salad had no blueberries and maybe 3 strawberries, plus the lettuce was cut into large chunks. Quesadilla had maybe filling for 2/3 and the rest was just tortilla. No apologies from the staff over the wait, the manager came and spoke to customers behind us who also waited that long, they didn't get shrimp on their seafood platter. The manager never came to our table. Terribly disappointed for a new restaurant in Shawano that we hope will succeed, never had an issue with the restaurant that was there prior. Will not return.

We arrived 5:45ish on a Thursday afternoon. The greet staff and the waiter were friendly and helpful. He brought us our water just the way we like it - me a room temperature and he refilled it promptly at the right time. The Senior Menu was hard to see as I had forgotten my reading glasses and mom is nearly blind. We did ascertain that with our $20 we could each get an item from the Senior menu, which is normally enough for each of us. Mom took the roast beef with a side salad (nice and big) and mashed potatoes (full of air and a bit runny- two scoops). The roast beef was delicious and very tender. They didn't have french dressing and the portion was very small. She asked for extra gravy as no one serves enough gravy with their meals. There was plenty on her plate. The gravy was tasty. Not being a fan of roast beef and allergic to wheat and shellfish, I settled for the crispy fish, (I usually order grilled as I don't like crispy) , with a side order of green and yellow beans with garlic butter. The waiter assured me they'd be soft and done- not "chinese". I was only allowed one side. I asked for tartar for my fish and seeing the size serving asked for two more to stretch over the fish. The beans were NOT done and I had two tartar containers of unchewable strings from the beans. The flavor combination was really good. The fish was good but given the price overall, over priced. If I had scraped off the crunchy (again, no other option for me), I would have had very little to eat. It was just that serving size was a nice sample. Mom generally has enough left over when we go out to have lunch the next day. I had had a grilled onion all day and would have been content with a full meal such as I usually get when we do go out. Imagine our shock and dismay when the bill came and we were charged $1.00@ for the gravy, the second salad dressing, and each "extra" tartar sauce. Fortunately, I had an extra $5.00 bill on my person. I usually keep such to help mom with a tip when we go out. I gave the waiter the money for the bill and could do none other than let him keep the change for the tip. He deserved better as company policy is not his fault. He'd done good. We did speak with him directly about warning us that there was a one dollar charge for sauces as not everyone can see that in the menu. We also spoke with the shift manager about our unhappiness related to our meal and that we were leaving hungry. We had enjoyed the restaurant replaced by IHOP, and I have enjoyed IHOP in the past. We are glad we tried it, but seriously doubt that we'll be returning to this location. We are far better off to go to a restaurant down the street and use coupons to get $1.00 off a meal deal, although that gets us back to burger and fries or fish baskets. If you want pancakes, IHOP may be good but not on a limited budget and not for an evening meal. They need to have a grilled option for people not wanting crunchy food and when they say the vegetables are cooked done- they need to be cooked DONE.
